The problem is I paid my bill online and it was paid twice in amount of $100 in so many cents and I called in and next day and they said I would receive my money back in my checking account in 7 business days well it's been it's been 9 business days in my money is not put back in my account when I called them today they said it has to be approved that is my money and it should be put in my account I'm asking the Better Business Bureau to retrieve my $100 back I had two overdrafts because of that which I would have the money in there if they were put it back in my account so what you look into this matter for me thank you ******* ******Business Response

The business rumpke is supposed to pick up trash every Tuesday where I live they have failed to do so multiple times before. They have taken trash cans from me twice and just refused to pick up trash. They are always making messes. and would like to take a moment to explain.
Rumpke has an agreement with the community that Ms. ***** resides in. This agreement
states that 95 gallons of trash will be collected each week. The trash is
collected from the trash cart that is included with the service. Any additional
trash must be scheduled in advance and is subject to additional fees.
We appreciate the
opportunity to service the ***** household. We apologize for the frustration
with the trash limit. We hope that with the above explanation this matter is

Missed pickup. I called the office twice now, once on Wednesday 8.31.2022 and again Friday the 2nd to report that our dumpster had not been emptied. They also have not picked up the neighbors. Anyway, I was told someone would be here to get it and it is Sunday and no one has picked it up. VERY DISAPPOINTED in your customer service. Our scheduled trash pickup day is on Friday and every Thursday night we place our trash at the end of our driveway. Up until three weeks ago, we had zero issues with trash pickup. Our issues started on 8/19/22 when our trash was not picked up (1 can at the end of the driveway). I called Monday and was informed that they marked it as a miss and would send a driver out (it would take between 24 to 48 hours). I had left our trash at the end of the driveway but it was never picked up. Thursday night I rolled a second trash can down with the first and on 8/26/22, our trash was still not picked up. I noticed that our neighbors had theirs picked up so I called Friday afternoon and was told that they filled it as a missed pickup and would send someone within 24 to 48 hours. We left our two trash cans at the end of the driveway but still not pickup. I called again Monday afternoon to find out what was going on. They filed another missed collection, checked the account (which appeared to be fine, paid up, etc.), and put me on hold while they called someone else. I was insured that it would be picked up. A few days before the next pickup date, I had placed a few garage bags next to the trash cans because we were out of room. I placed a few more Thursday and called again to try and get our trash picked up but was given the same answer and was assured that someone would pick it up. On 9/2/22, our trash was missed again but our neighbors was still picked up. I called shortly after the street was picked up (not us of course) and was told that they were going to look into it and call me back at some point today but never got that call. We are now going into a holiday weekend and I will not be able to get ahold of anyone until Tuesday and our trash will continue to sit out and pilling up. If this was any other service, we would cancel and use someone else but considering this is our only option, it makes it even more frustrating.Business Response

My family and I just moved into the location on the address provided in the complaint on August 19th 2022. Prior to that date I set up trash service through rumpke waste and recycling I told them I wanted them to provide me a trash can as they did when I drove past a couple days later after I sat up service for our residence. When I signed up for service they told me to set out "Sunday" night and pick up would be "Monday" morning so on August 21st ,2022 about 8:00 p.m. I sat out the trash on the curb for pick up and by Monday afternoon there was no trash service trash was still sitting at the curb I called them and told them about it they said that it was not sat out which is not correct the neighbors beside me also have the service they sent out Monday night and collected on Tuesday drove past our trash can and did not stop to pick it up I watched them and then I called the field office for our area and told them that their truck just drove past our trash can pick the neighbors up but not ours and they told me that they put in a dispute but it would be up to supervisors to come back to pick it up I called everyday for a week and now I'm into the following week calling and I sent them pictures of my trash can sitting out there collecting all this trash I would not have called and made such a big issue had I not done what I was supposed to do I sat my trash out and they did not collect it they drove right past it on Tuesday when they're supposed to be picking up on Monday and it's been sitting out there since August 21,2022. I told them to cancel service and to pick up this last time and to pick up their trash can they canceled service and again drove by today on August 30th of 2022 without picking up service again the only thing they wanted to do when I threatened to cancel service before I did was to give me a credit for a week and to put the account on the logs for the next few weeks to be made sure to be picked up and it is still not been picked.Business Response

Hello I just moved into this address at the end of July. I was told I would have a trash can delivered to this address within 20 days. I have still not received one and it will be 2 weeks over the 20 days on Wednesday. I have called several times and am told the same thing everytime. That it should have been delivered and that they sent an email to the “operations team” and they will get back to me. But nobody has got back to me. Well to start it took over a month just to get my trash and recycle cans. Then I fill my recycle can and it’s been sitting at the curb for two weeks. I contacted them when they we’re supposed to pick it up the first time they missed it. They sent me a generic message saying the recycling manager would get back to me. Never happened. Now today it was supposed to be picked up again and nothing. I emailed again and was sent the exact same generic message. I canceled my garbage service on 7/19/22 and was told my garbage can would be picked up within 7-10 business days. On the 10th business day, I called for an update and was told it’s actually 15-21 business days. On the 21st business day I called and they said it’d be picked up by the end of the week (which was last week). I’ve called and or emailed every day this week and was told it’d be picked up by the end of this week, but it’s still at the end of my driveway waiting for them, and it’s the 28th business day. My husband and i rented a dumpster from rumpke for delivery on August 4 and pickup August 11. We paid $675.60. We have called multiple times seeking when the dumpster will be removed from our residential driveway, only to be told Rumpke will pick it up when they are delivering another dumpster in our area. Rumpke is now exactly 3 weeks and 1 day late on removing their dumpster. We do not have street parking and have had to park our vehicles in our front yard to avoid Rumpkes dead run fee of $115, in the case they actually come to pick up the dumpster and we’re parked in our driveway. We have spoke to Megan Z and another woman who i believe is her supervisor. On Tuesday August 26th supervisor said she would contact dispatch to get this situation elevated and have the dumpster removed which it has not. We can not continue to park in our front yard and we can not continue to wait and wait for Rumpke to decide to pick up this dumpster. Please help us with this situation.Business Response

Account number 4********* We just bought this house, and I ordered and paid for garbage pickup on 8-10-22. The garbage collection day is on Fridays, so Rumpke said they would start picking up my garbage on 8-12-22. They have not picked up my garbage once. I called and they have given me a credit, but my garbage is now Maggot infested, absolutely stinks, and is now just in bags because the can is overflowing. Where wild animals are now getting into it, and it is getting into the road and yard. There is a creek across the street, and I’m afraid the garbage is going to end up in the creek, where it will endanger, and kill wildlife. Please help me get this resolved as quickly as possible.
