      Have not been provided service of emptying our dumpster in over 2 months. Yet still being charged and when speaking with customer service, keep being told the same thing, that they will forward to operations, and we will be serviced in 24-48 hours with a truck coming to empty our dumpster. Yet no one, no truck, EVER shows up. And so we contact them again, and get told the exact same thing. Yet we receive we a bill of service every month.
      When it snowed in Jan, our driveway was never inaccessible. A truck could have come at any time and been able to service us.

      My trash wasn’t picked up for 3 weeks. I called Rumpke and canceled my account on the 14th of January and the lady I spoke with said she would cancel it as of January 1 and the money would not come out of my account. The 23rd $264 was taken from my bank account. I called again on the 24th and Sheldon ( no last name) told me it would be refunded. Today on the 31st I called back because it had not been returned and am getting the run around extension after extension department after department.

      I pay for a commercial dumpster pick-up every 2 weeks. Due to the most recent snow storm which caused a level 3 snow emergency, my dumpster wasn't picked up on 1/6/25. After the emergency was lifted, my service still wasn't picked up until the next regular scheduled pick-up on 1/20/25. We went a full month between pick-ups. The company is still charging me as if they had to pay the dump fee and and a fuel surcharge as if they had to drive here. I requested an adjustment for the fees since it was a month between pick-ups and was told they do not do adjustments due to natural disasters. I find it unacceptable to still charge fees as if you incurred an expense even though you didn't come down a road that I personally cleared to ensure you could get access to the dumpster.

      I believe this pathetic service can. or could, result in a serious health condition for not only my family, but my neighbors and city as well. As I search through BBB's 215 complaints against Rumpke ****** I can only imagine the number of other communities who are also at risk. Rumpke was paid $138.71 (service and fuel charge), in advance; collection service for NOV/DEC (2024)/JAN (2025) by bill-pay on 11/1/2024. We did not receive trash collection on 1/10/2025 or 1/17/2025. We don't want the 1/24/2025 or 1/31/2025 collections. There was/will be 14 collections for the time frame listed above. Since we are not getting service for those dates I believe Rumpke owes us for 4 collections. $138.71/14 = $9.907. $9.907 * 4 = $39.63 (rounded up). It is going to cost us al least $20.00 to take care of the existing trash. We are asking Rumpke to send us a $59.63 check immediately to our address on file. We have had other missed collections in 2024 and can no longer trust Rumpke as our collection service. I contacted Rumpke concerning the missed collections and this is the email I received from Jacy: "Thank you for contacting Rumpke. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Our driver has noted the account unserviceable due to the weather conditions. We are unable to return until your next service day. You can sit out any additional trash you have, and we will get you caught up." This is RUBBISH. Several other folks in our community had their garbage collected with similar road conditions

      Since the beginning of January 2025, (it is now third week) Rumpke Waste and Recycling services company in ********* ******** has not been providing services and no information was sent to us. The first week of the winter storm was understandable but now for the roads have been reasonably clear and there is no reliable service on our street for recycling, although trash has been picked up twice When we call - the staff lied about the ice on the street to pick up recycling- there is no ice or snow on our street this week and main roads are completely cleared. No information has been sent, so all of us have piles of recycling every week out. This complaint is about their terrible customer service and neglectful service and communication, and refusal to give us credit for not picked up recycling.

      For several years we have been paying for and using the Rumpke Recycling Service. Two months ago, we started having issues with the service. They would fail to pick up the recyclables on the standard pickup day (Thursday) and on contacting Rumpke Recycling, they would come the following day and pick up the recyclables. This went on for four weeks. As of two weeks ago, they completely stopped picking up the recyclables. The first week they failed to do the pickup, they gave us a credit for one week and said they would do the pickup the next week. This was last Thursday, and again they failed to do the paid for pickup. On contacting them they said they would come the next day, and this pick up did not happen. Then they said that would pick up the recyclables on Monday (yesterday). They were contacted repeatedly Monday and promised pickup, which again did not happen. Now, after missing two weeks of paid for service they are saying that they will pick up the recyclables this Thursday.

      How does Rumple Recycling Service justify this complete failure of their service? What are we to do with the more than two weeks of recyclables, that do not fit into the recycle bin? When are we getting the service that we, and our next-door neighbor, are paying for?

      It’s going on week four with no trash pick up from Rumpke. I’ve called several times and filed complaints on their website. I’ve been told several times they are coming out to do a missed pick up, yet they never show up. My bill is paid and my road is plowed and accessible. I understand missed trash due to weather issues the first week but no excuses after that. I’d like my trash picked up ASAP and to be refunded for the weeks they have missed.
