Rumpke is charging me for past months they said I didn't pay them I offer to show them my bank statements that proves I did pay thr bill and I have conformation code they didn't want to see it said that I am being difficult and they can't talk to me they tried so they will have someone call me no one has called back to fix this and I am still left with owing back payments that has been payed one person said it was 2 months behind the other said 1 month only thing was offered was to email me the bill they say I missed when she said that I said ok I will email you the bank statement for last year of payments that wasn't good enough still said I owe it they even sent me a check in September for over paymentRumpke Waste & Recycling

How many times can you miss someone's garbage within a year? Bet Rumpke can answer that question! How about hiring some real employees instead of these lazy no good bums that can't seem to do their job right. Where is my new can I was promised 3 months ago? Rumpke bought out the trash service we were using. We had been paying $75 every 3 months. They raised our rates after a year of them buying out our prior trash company, which was fine, but since then, they continue to raise rates. We were paying a set price for trash and recycling. During the pandemic, they decided to start charging for fuel, which increased the rate by quite a bit. Then they decided to bill separately for recycling, so that raised the rate a little bit more to $95 for 3 months. Now I get my most recent bill, and they raised the rates even more without even any prior notice. So I used to pay $75, then to $95, and now my most recent bill is $106.08. I've only kept them because of the ease of recycling, but our county has free recycling drop off areas or I will just stop recycling, so if I don't hear back from Rumpke about my bill I'm going to be switching to another trash service.Rumpke Waste & Recycling

My garbage wasn't picked up for 3 weeks and I was told "policy" says no credit is allowed unless reported right away... I tried to explain I work long hours and couldn't call through out the day and I was told I should have sent an email... There are no other garbage services in my area so I don't have a choice with who to go with but if I did it would not be Rumpke!Rumpke Waste & Recycling

I've had Rumpke household trash and recycling service for several years since they bought out the good company I had been using. I just received a 34.7% price increase with no prior notification. Just trying to slide it past me on auto-bill. It's a pretty sleazy way to do business. I will add that after shopping around, I found another company charging 37% less than Rumpke. Another unrelated issue: their trucks leak excessive amounts of hydraulic oil onto the streets.Rumpke Waste & Recycling

Their service is beyond picky. You schedule to have things picked up and if it isnt exactly how they would like it they just refuse to pick it up. They dont inform you how it needs to be done. Terrible service from a company that overcharges and doesnt provide a good enough service for that charge. Wish there was another option. They dont do their job and we still pay for it. We have our own recycle container we buy o* ******** marketplace so we start using a lot of recycle materials they are not take it because they told us we have to buy from them we thought they support & encouraging Peoples but they are not. They just need to make money out of that. If not, they don’t want take it and recycle it. That’s what they told us where we learn the to recycle helping environment our kids they learn from school they push us to start recycling. We throw way two ,three big container with everything recycle material and trash together before three big container so our kids they asking us to start recycling and we buy fromFrom ******** marketplace, green recycling bin, the same it says rumpke but they don’t take it. Because of that every week we throw with trash our two big container.just Throw way with our regular trash so total trash will be every week for three big container they are not supporting cleaning the environment unless they make money we are very disappointing. My kids and myself we just throw away all the recycle every week with our trash.Rumpke Waste & Recycling

****** * provided us with superb service for many years....sold out to Rumpke......couldn't do 3 pickups a week....can't even manage 2 during the holidays. This is a golden opportunity for competition, but ******** won't service this area and ***** *******y Sanitation is --- well a very poor and expensive choice. Some other service needs to compete in this area. We are more than willing to be their customer. I have relatives in southern Ohio that likewise wish there were other competitors in the marketRumpke Waste & Recycling

I have Rumpke commercial service at my business. It is the worst trash service I have ever had, and is also more expensive than their competitors. We were closed on July 4th, which happened to be our pickup day. Our lot is gated so the gates were closed that day. When no one came to pick up on July 5 I called and was told that commercial service isn't delayed on holidays, even though the only holiday schedule on the website showed that it was delayed, and we were not picked up because the gate was closed. I was told they would send a truck out, no one ever showed up. By this time we were overflowing with trash. I called customer service again and was told just to stack the trash next to the dumpster, their driver would get it when he came out. A week later a truck finally showed up and dumped the dumpster, but did not pick up the trash next to the dumpster. I called again and was told that they didn't know why anyone would tell me that, the driver can't leave the truck so we had to load the trash into the dumpster ourselves. Today, January 2 is supposed to be my pickup day but we are still closed until tomorrow for New Years. I had one of my staff go and open the gate and stay there to wait for the trash pick up. At 3:00 I called and was told that it would not be picked up until tomorrow, because pick up is always delayed after a holiday. So once again I called customer service and was basically told that it ***** to be you. I am out $90.00 that I had to pay my guy to be here today. I would have canceled my service in July if I could, but the contract had just rolled over a couple of weeks earlier and they would not let me out of it. I have the contract termination date written on our white board and you can bet that I will cancel this service the first chance I get. I am sure I will get a response telling me to contact customer service, but I have done that at least 6 times and what I get is a response of "gee that's too bad".Rumpke Waste & Recycling
