      Kroger - Reynoldsburg, OH Due to recent bday, had to renew driver's license & sticker for my car. Since covid ******** ****** *** provides temporary paper copy of driver's license to use until actual license is received via mail. Was at Kroger which I go very often. Had groceries & alcohol beverage was told by cashier that my temp paper license was not acceptable per Kroger policy- mind you even law enforcement officers considers it as legal/valid! I asked to see the manager. Manager arrived but didn't even look at the paper! I was told that I could not purchase my beverage without providing my old driver's license - which is expired. Remembered it was in my car since I had not thrown it away yet. Had to walk all way to my car. By then customers in line were upset due to the wait. Once I returned with it - requested the manager to provide me with documentation of the alleged policy! Then was told by the manager that he did not have to show me anything! After leaving got my phone out and did research and confirmed proof that my temporary licenses is legal documentation from the *** and serves as my official identity. I feel like it was racially motivated discrimination because I am African American! There was no reason at all for me to be targeted, and discriminated against. I should not have had to produce anything other then the temporary license provided. I had every right to request documentation of the policy being unfairly used against me. Turns out - no such policy exists! I am pursuing legal action against the manager, employee and Kroger for this unethical and racially targeted practice, disguised as a "policy" that does not even exist!

      They accept orders online for services they dont offer and leave you high and dry without your order causing me to pay double elsewhere last minute.

      I purchased 3 $100 visa gift cards at Kroger on 116th in fishers in April of 2024 for a work event. All 3 showed used at a ****** in california a week after purchase. Called Kroger and they do NOT care. It was probably one of their own employees and they're not doing anything about it. They need to remove ALL gift cards from their shelves. I cannot believe this.

      King Soopers at **** * Federal Blvd failed to correctly ring up my sale priced item using the bar codes. When I tried to get the clerk to correct it it took 10 nminutes and was still incorrect. When I called King Soopers their only recourse was for me to return to the store with my items (and likely wait in a long line at Customer Service" for $6. No thanks, I'm not goint to drive 20 minutes to do that. It is worth mentioning that I see this happen a lot. King Soopers consistently charges incorrect prices based on the bar codes that are scanned at the register. They seem uninterested in correcting any of the mispriced item charges for future custimers. The incorrect charges are always in King Soopers favor, it seems like they are intentianally overcharging or misleading customers about sales. They should be investigated by the BBB or some other regulatory entity.

      Bought a cooked chicken and muffins from City market bakery. The bird was over cooked and the muffins under. Treated like crap by the asst manager Juan. It was egregious and shameful. I spend a few thousand dollars a year at City Market. Instead of looking up my loyalty information to see that I bought the items he kept I have a receipt, however it was in their packaging so no doubt it was purchased there. as I left there was a sheriff walking in at the same time. the assistant manager were both Hispanic so they ganged up on me. Sheriff told me to not talk, Dont I have the right to talk as an American? I was not threatening anybody. I just want my money back by the way, I’ve talked to disgruntled employees in Vail and Steamboat Springs are not happy with a low wages that they receive, and I understand that the manager only gets a dollar more per hour than a line employee with no experience and many of them can’t speak great English because they bring them in from other countries. This Mexican guy who is short and stocky/obese, probably angry at these white wealthy and the manager had a chance to get spiteful. Such a waste of time and terrible customer service.

      i want to acknowledge Matt and Jamal from the produce area. i went to get a southwestern salad and there were none. i asked Matt about it and he said wait a few minutes here and i will have one made for you fresh. Then Jamal came out later from the back room with my fresh made salad he prepared for me. Great employees looking out for the customer and KROGER name. ****

      Terrible company to do business with, they will gladly take your money but when it comes to a refund ended up having to open a Credit Card dispute. Lost me as a customer.

      The delivery service is ok, except when they are out of items.. if they are out of a item and it knocks you out of spending a certain amount to get a $30 off coupon, they won’t let you add item to cover the difference. Plus they are now telling me I can’t get a refund on my yearly paid subscription…it’s a hassle every time I place a order..

      ******** on ******** refused to honor digital coupons yesterday. After using a coupon it will stay in your clipped coupon file and will say "can use again". Talked with the manager and he said it's a glitch in their system and they are working to get it straightened out, but the bottom line is it still says can use again. They are refusing to do it. False advertising inorder to get customers to buy more. This has been going on for some time and they have not gotten it straightened out, so they are definitely benefiting by it. This should be looked into by BBB as customers are being taken advantage of!

      We have been Kroger customers for 25+ years. The other day (02/20/24) my wife started a pickup order. She could not compete the order because of a trouble code. We found that our **** company did a charge back from a January purchase. But rather than contacting us, they froze our account. All over $130. We could of easily take care of this. They are demanding that we send a money order.Now I am not saying that I will never shop Kroger. But they will receive conciderately less business. This is how they treat a long time customer.
