Terrible customer service. Terrible communication with contacts. Cannot speak to a live person regarding questions or issues. Small town krogers have changed pick up system that makes it very difficult for elderly people. When one calls customer service, the call is routed through a phone service hundreds of miles from the location of the call that is made. Bottom line is kroger does not want to speak with the customer regarding questions or concerns. I am just thankful that I now have a ****** in my area that I can utilize.

I ordered a boost membership in July of 2023. My online account never reflected the activation of my boost membership, despite my numerous attempts over six months to address this issue through phone calls and online chats. Over the past six months, I have engaged with several customer service representatives online and over the phone, all of whom assured me that I had this membership. I never got free shipping nor did anyone resolve the issue. Called again on Friday morning, confirmed that I had purchased the boost for $99 in July 2023, but was not linked to the correct account He attempted to cancel it and transfer it to my active account while on the call, but encountered difficulties in getting approval or providing a credit himself. He promised to escalate the matter and call me back, providing me with my case number. After waiting for four hours without receiving a callback, I called again and spoke to Fiona, who reviewed the case but claimed she couldn't assist further. She stated that the person i spoke to wasn't authorized to transfer the boost or provide a credit and now that it was canceled there was nothing that she could do Frustrated, I requested to escalate the issue further which she refused the finally I was connected with a supervisor named Emily, who reiterated that nothing could be done because it had been over seven days since the boost was purchased. She offered a credit of $30, which I found inadequate given that I paid $99 for a service valid until July 9th of the current year. When I questioned the fairness of this offer, Emily abruptly ended the call by hanging up without a word. Rudiculous. This situation is neither fair nor my fault. I simply want the membership and delivery service I paid for. If that cannot be provided, I expect a refund for the service I have never received. The lack of resolution, prolonged wait times, and discourteous treatment from numerous customer service, including a supervisor is just awful. Stay away.

The Kroger at 5995 Stage Rd, ********* TN 38134 is an embarrassment to the Bartlett community. At 7:30am there is a line halfway back the store for checkout for only 3 self-checkout lanes open. Employees in the store are stocking shelves and not running to the front to open a register, but just there stocking shelves. I'll do my best to take my business elsewhere until this store learns how to operate properly. The employees at **** understand how to run to the front when there is a line for checkout.

Kroger is a scam. I shop at **** and avoid Kroger with the exception of must haves. Their “fuel rewards” is a joke because you pay higher prices and their profit line just increases the way they fleece you at the register. I respect union employ, have friends retired from Kroger but they are doing you no favor, trust me. **** adjusts prices to market rate and with inflation as it is, prices do go up and down. My final straw with Kroger is the fuel rewards, nothing but a scam.

Jan/8/23 Beware of Kroger, Smiths, deception on sale items. They put up the really big yellow signs, just the number of your cost on sale. U think great deal and buy more than usual. At the register it rings up as a fresh values and u assume its the price u pay on the sign with the huge numbers where u picked up the product, but u wont c the actual price till u total out. When I went back to check and make sure I wasnt crazy in tiny print at the bottom of the big yellow sign, it said what the total discount savings would be WITH both fresh value and the digital sale. That savings number is a fraction of what the full price is, so the number on the big yellow sign was how much u can possibly save when u use fresh value and digital coupon together. It sounds complicated but u will be clearly blindsided. Tricky, like I have never seen. Too many things like that lately.

I am a customer I was there heard the manager yelling and degrading an employee in front of myself and other customers. I spoke to Blanca the manager who was talking badly to the employee and said hey I don’t think the way you spoke to that young man was professional she replied and said we have to speak to them like that other wise they won’t listen.. no ma’am if the employees are failing it is the managers fault not there’s and that should not be in a manner where several customer stop and turn to see what’s going on. She had no remorse then said these kids are horrible employees and gets writes up all the time. I told her I come in here all the time and see that young man working and not standing around. He’s always polite and there is no way he can be that bad to embarrass him in front of people. She was upset he went to the restroom to relieve himself. As a manager you should not feel entitled to speak to people like that. Train him correctly but as humans we can’t tell our bladder when our bodies needs the restroom. Bad management skills and then she stated well I will speak to but I’m not apologizing we can and will speak to them this way so they can under stand

I have the Kroger delivery boost membership and pay for the membership. Since having it I have had multiple deliveries late, way past the time given which is an 1hour and a half delivery window. I have had orders canceled by ********* for no reason. This is how Kroger runs their delivery service. They choose to use ********* as a third party delivery service which is a Kroger problem not a customer problem. We sign up with Kroger not *********. If there is an issue expect to spend 30 minutes or better trying to figure what’s going on with your orders from their customer dept and be put on multiple holds. The membership is not worth the aggravation that it causes. Kroger is absolutely atrocious at the delivery aspect of their business. I have had an order canceled for no reason currently 2/4/24 at 6pm and they have no idea why and ********* can’t even get in touch w their drivers to find the issue. I was told to wait an hour and call back to see what happens. This is how you can expect Kroger to treat you if you use this service. It’s a trainwreck and none of the executives do anything to fix the problem.

On January 26th, 2024, my I noticed my dog Kasey (yes, my dog) was not eating his wet food that I have been given him. This has been going on for about three days. I finally decided that trying a new brand my help and when I went the ******** Food for Less, I found a new brand and thought I would try that out. When I got up to the cashier she looked at with rudely and disrespectfully said What do you want. I said I wanted to purchase this My dog has not been eating his normal food. She replied What a stupid mutt. I then handed over my Five-dollar bill and she said she had to check the numbers because. the new five dollars bills are confusing to a person with my intelligence. I said I am sorry, I just had to for people like us. I then cooperated. After she bagged the cans in a bag as some type of statement my low level of intelligence does not understand. I was sent off with a bye honey dear. After all that I was finally able to stubble my way out the door. Thank heavens. So, I hope the next time I am in The Highland Food for Less I hope to make it through the store in one piece without some cashier being rudely suggestive.

On Dec 18,23, Purchased a gift card at Kroger’s in the amount of $$$$$. I scratched off the tape that covered the PIN, it scratched through the middle of the numbers. Called ****** & spoke with T., was told to call Kroger since the gift card was purchased there. Called Kroger Customer Service, J. said to call ****** .I said I had & they instructed me to call Kroger. He opened a ticket & ask for the transaction information to verify the purchase. After confirmation, I sent him pictures of purchase & activation receipt, front & back of card to him at Customer Service! He verified that he had them, & said that I would receive a refund in 7-10 business days. Jan 2 emailed Kroger Cust Service to request an update, past 10 business days and no refund. Jan 5 received an email from Cust Service requesting pictures of the card and receipts. Responded that I had already sent that information to J. on Dec 18, 23. No Response by Jan 9. Called and was connected with J. She told me that they never received the pictures. I had copies of all the prior emails that showed that they were sent. She found the emails and tried to open them. She said that she could not open them. So, she sent me her email address and I resent them to her at *************, but she could not open them either. That is when I noticed that they were attached for access from the cloud. I figured out that they did not have external access to the cloud to open them! I resent them as .jpg attachments. She confirmed that they could now be opened and she had what was needed! I received an email from J. on Jan 11 that the refund was approved, it would put back on my credit card, and to monitor our account for 7 to 10 business days I emailed J. on Jan 25 asking for an update since we still had not received our refund. Jan 29 -Still not response from J. Contacting the BBB and our ** Dispute Team.

To someone who might care: I think digital coupon specials Fred Meyer uses are prejudice and discriminate to those of us who do not use them. I spoke with a supervisor from customer complaint phone number. Her name is Rose she told me yes you MUST have a digital device to get the special!! This is NOT right. So, if my phone worked in the store, if I know how to use the app.. Which I do not. Oh and what about people with no smart phone. Yes they offered to help me set up their app.( That is not possible for me.) Then I can have the same specials as others. I am a disabled senior on a fixed budget. Please stop the digital coupons. Today when I arrived home I looked at my receipt to see I did not get a special on digital coupon item. I called the store they said bring in your receipt and we will give you a refund. Mixed answer's, supervisor Rose says you must have a electronic device to get the special. So 2 answers from 2 employees. So PLEASE make it so every one or no one gets the digital specials. Thank for your HELP!
