When I did not get my $20 cash back at the automated check out, they laughed at me and said the next person probably took it. Well, I never saw it come out of the machine. They charged me .75 fee as well. I went to customer service and asked again and they were discussing looking at the cameras. I asked may I see the camera results, head cashier or front end person said I can’t. I asked to speak to manager, no results. I called corp., waited 10 min. They tried to make me do app, then hung up on me. Also last week was charged $3.99 instead of sale price $2.99 for blueberries, so I said the sign was $2.99. They wouldn’t believe me. So I asked person to watch my cart, took my purse all the way to the opposite side of store and took a photo of sale sign. That’s the only way I receive accurate price. That’s abuse. And NO it wasn’t digital coupon or other rationale that they tried to convince me of. The store also violates weights and measures laws. Please someone help customers there. I’m so upset. They are getting away with a lot, violating laws, decency and unethical. 24th St store is on Baseline Rd, Phoenix, AZ ******

ZERO stars should be an option! I ordered and paid for my pick-up order on Tuesday, picked my order up on Wednesday and noticed an additional charge from Kroger. Upon checking receipt online and speaking with a live chat agent - I was told my digital coupons were not honored because the transaction isn't complete until I pick up my order. HUH? Where do they do that at? The transaction is complete as soon as you charged my card Tuesday. I have never bought a product from a company, but was charged "current ad prices" when product was delivered or picked up? Anyone else? Didn't think so. I will starve at Krogers doors before giving them a penny.

Abysmal is not a strong enough word to describe Kroger's customer service. My family and I placed delivery order to be delivered 1/23/24. I received a text that the order was cancelled due to weather. The predicted high for 1/23 was about 45 degrees and rain. Not only was the order cancelled for no apparent reason, Kroger had already charged my account. For groceries I did not have. When the order was inappropriately cancelled, I was not consulted, nor was I offered an y alternative other than to create a new order or re-submit the old one. I suggested 3 reasonable solutions: 1. I could have picked up the groceries. 2.The driver could have set the delivery for a different time if they were concerned about the weather. 3. Kroger's could have refunded my card. There was no effort to use any judgement or flexibility for any of these creative solutions. I just got hollow apologies with no real effort to solve the problem.Kroger promised product and service, took compensation and did not provide the product or service or provide me a clear path to restitution. I believe that is breach of contract - we had an offer, some acceptance and then consideration. Or theft by deception, a 1st degree misdemeanor per *** *******(A)(3). They bank had a hold on the withdrawal for the groceries, and customer service directed me to my bank. Upon calling them, they informed me that they could not release the hold on the withdrawal without speaking to the vendor, who was being the definition of less than helpful.

I purchased two items from Kroger delivery to be shipped to my home. One was ****** Jalapeno Hot chili con carne with beans (pack of 8). The other was ******** Alcohol Prep Pad Sterile Medium ******** Gauze 58-204 20 Box(s) 200 /Box. It was shipped to the wrong address. When I called, first, I was told that I would get a refund then I was told that I had to call both companies to get a refund. This is bad business. I do not recommend this to anyone! It doesn't even deserve a single star.

I received a marketing email in December 2023 to renew my annual "Boost" membership, in which I was already subscribed for 1 year, from Jan 2023 to Jan 2024 and the email indicated that even if I was already a Boost Member, I could "extend" my membership for 1 year "at no cost". I used the link which was provided but it still required credit card info despite this already being on file. I proceeded, and it charged me the annual $59 fee. I was expecting "no cost" to "renew". I have emailed Kroger Customer Service countless times, and they do respond within 5 days, however they do not answer the question or seem to even read my email because I provided them the original marketing email and screen shots with arrows and circles on it and they continuously avoid making any comment about those parts of my email. I get a new person to respond each time as if it is my first email to them and none of the email chain history is ever included or considered. I have been told multiple times they will do a "courtesy credit" of $30 to "your account" but they have never asked which account they are crediting and after several weeks, I do not have any such credit to my bank, kroger cart, nor kroger credit card account. Plus, why wouldn't I be credited $59 when this was said to be "at no cost"? I advised I would go to the BBB if they did not provide me a direct line to someone to speak to, and their response did not provide a number and only again promised a $30 credit to which I still am not seeing anywhere. To be clear; this complaint is being filed with Kroger Customer Service and NOT towards my local store. The local store is great; this is simply a matter of false advertising and misleading marketing emails, and inability to create a response to an email without their use of AI generated templates.

The last five times I have been to Kroger on a busy Saturday they have two full service lanes open. Most of their employees are being personal shoppers and no longer working front lines as cashiers or baggers. Kroger rewards my loyalty by having me wait in line to then bag my own groceries. Kroger is trying to force self checkout, which is fine for a few items, but not a full cart. Customer service is at an all time low and customers no longer matter in Maryville/Alcoa, Tennessee.

They won't deliver or ship to my address and I don't know why. They don't give a reason but when I try to check out and choose their shipping thing called " ship " it tells me that I cannot have my items shipped to me. I do not understand. I am not wanting door dash or Amy of that. I wwnt it shipped to me like regular mail. And they refuse to do that. I am on a fixed income and I do not drive and the nearest store to me for groceries is kroger and walmart and both day they ship but then they don't.
