      They have a monopoly on local groceries in Northern Ky. and they use deceptive pricing gimmicks when shopping at the store. They will put a big yellow sale sign for a product in the isles but when you get to checkout it is a higher price and the clerk cannot find the sales price that was advertised. I you take the extra 15 to 20 minutes it takes to get it sorted out they will simply say sorry for the confusion. However, they know most people will not take the time to straighten out the issue, if they catch it at all.This PRICING TACTIC IS BY DESIGN!!! They want to have people pick up the item then not bother with issue at checkout! They are greedy and try to cheat their way to increased profits because they know the public has no options in many areas!

      On 11/16/23 I was over charged for 3 kroger butter which was suppose to be $2.99 and they charged me $4.29 each. ******* coffee,was suppose to cost $5.99 and I was charged $9.99, the cashier didn't give me time to tell her I wanted to do a price match, Her name was Denise, I don't do well with a computer , so if they would have given me time I would have ask for a price match. I don't under stand gamjng points rewards plus my receipt plus said congratulations! you earned 1000 gaming rewards points! Could you explain it to me. I shop at *** *** ****** Drive Weirton, - I usually do self check out ,but since I had such a big order the lady that always helps me said maybe I could use some help. Thanks, ******

      I ordered food on 10/14/2023 and was charged but because the food wasnt delivered till 10/15/2023 they charged me full price and removed my coupons because they switched over coupons and I was charged an additional $46.00 this is hard when I live off snap currently sue to being laid off.

      I went to **** Market to get gas. I have a brand new truck, and it has never gave me any problems, I saw a vapor coming out of the gas tank as I was pumping my diesel fuel, and then stopped pumping. When I went to start my truck it wouldnt start, I had to completely stop it, and then try to restart it again. It finally started and then while driving down the street was bogging out and didnt have any power. I went to **** Market the store to get some food and upon starting it again. I did the same thing. I called the fuel station to let them know my experience and they told me they dont have anything to do with the gas and then I had to call a manager at the grocery store. I told him that he was the one working the fuel pumps, and that he does have something to do with the gas, That hes let other people know that there might be a problem with the fuel, and he had no concern. I then got a call from *****, who is a manager at the store, and she stated that I needed to come back down to the store, and fill out a complaint against the fuel for their insurance agent to Review, there was no help other than that, and they seemed very complacent when it came to my hundred thousand dollar truck and the damage that this might cost to it. So on top of giving me bad gas, I know I have to make a separate trip down there to fill out a complaint, both the manager and the person at the fuel station have no concern about my experience, and I probably will not get anywhere from it. I set up an appointment with ***  to have them test the gas so that I had data to show the insurance agency. This will also cost me more money and time. Nobody seems to care these days, it does not matter to them if your vehicle is messed up, or if there is a problem, everybody just points to finger at somebody else. I would not recommend using them for your fuel in the next few weeks. No help and no resolution other than you dealing with their insurance. That is their job, not mine.

      This crappy site put the wrong item in my basket I didn't catch until I paid for called did chat and still couldn't get it canceled and there reps are just clueless now I have to wait till it arrives why do they have a cancel button and reps when nothing works caution don't order online from them you'll be sorry

      Worst checkout I've ever experienced -- and at 80 years of age, that's a lot of checkouts. Long lines both at register and at self-checkout. I live within one mile of Smith's and ********** -- and I go to Smith's. Two cashiers at checkout. One was very new I imagine because she couldn't find the right prices on the circular for someone else. She tried. Woman next to her tried. Finally a man came and tried and finally got it right, evidently. 20 minutes at checkout at Smith's at Wyoming and Academy in Albuquerque. I know you don't care or you wouldn't have a BBB rating of D- I know you save money by not paying more people but groceries, not just employees, cost a lot, too.

      I drove to this store twice in one day (not to mention I stay in Georgia) to get a grocery pickup. Lord knows the groceries was needed in my home. Upon entering the store location after stating on the app I was on my way no one cared to mention what was about to happen. I travel with a 6 year old and 6 month old to be told at pickup that they are behind and can I travel again to the store… Kroger has no understanding iLife we are already buying inflated groceries and to be told to come back. Did you ever think that some of us are in our last dimes to get to the store let alone buy the groceries? This is the only Kroger that does stuff like this. Next time try giving people gas yo travel back on your error. I spend too much money with this business to be treated like nothing. Then not to mention as I typed up this message I get a call back from the store for the guy to tell me he was confused and still no groceries. Company get so many consumers funds to be treated like trash in the parking lot. I wish it was a half star on here to choose.

      Ernesto the cowderly want a be manager.....I ordered a birthday cake that was the most horrible thing I had ever seen. It looked like a pile of poop. I asked for a manager and some want a be named Ernesto showed up. He could have cared less. I told him the problem is they have no staff. They are so cheap. There are hardly have any checkers, no staff and there was no decorator at 2:00 on a Saturday to fix the problem. When this cowderly little man did not like my tone he grabbed my basket and told me I could not have my groceries. Instead of calling around to find a cake the coward wanted to take the groceries of a 70 year old woman. I am sure that cowderly little Ernesto can't take a strong woman and obviously has no management skills. The tough wimp wanted to take the groceries of a little old lady. I had a birthday party in less that two hours but instead of helping the coward wanted to take my groceries. What a tough little cowderly man. I had to scream in fear. Kroger is greedy. They do do staff appropriately and have poorly trained staff. The big bad coward goes after old ladies. Ernesto is so brave. Please stop shopping there. *** provides professional service.

      Although Kroger has good qualities I am always disappointed in their marketing tactics. Make sure you read the fine print! Example: Turkeys on sale for 99 cents a lb. but priced $1.89 lb. Small print has stipulation on size.I hate having to read small print when I am buying groceries. Its so frustrating to be manipulated when all you want is to purchase your groceries and go home.

      I found the Kroger department that handles complaints to be the worst service I have ever had to deal with. After I contested a charge I spent over 10 hours to gain their permission for me to be able to get them to accept any credit card and my order was hung up for 5 days. Depending on who I talked to they gave me contradictory information and because of their strong foreign accents none of the 7 or 8 representatives were possible to understand without having them constantly repeat themselves. They insisted that my credit card company, which they called my bank, send an email reversing the request for a refund, something my credit card company would not due. Another agent, the only one without an accent, told me they had been having problems for a week with anyone wanting to use a new credit card, which turned out to be false. The local branch is easy to deal with and was accepting my credit card, which made no sense. Again this was the most disturbing unnerving experience with a company in my 78 years.I doubt that complaining about them to Kroger will help since they completely disorganized.
