Kroger's QFC stores doesn't honor their own money orders. I purchased five $100.00 money orders on June 30 the 2023, and on July 6, they wouldn't cash them in. They didn't have an explanation and does not have a prominent display warning customers that they only sell money orders, but don't cash their own money orders. This is a scam and and I am out the money that I purchased the money orders for.

It seems Kroger's continues to treat paying customers with such disrespect, disregard, no integrity, dishonesty and with no value. 1) Self check out. The sensitivity of the bagging area. Count items 4. You have to wait. Check items 8, you have to wait, Check items 11, now you have 20 mins waiting and waiting while the loss prevention person talks to people they know and socializing with co-workers... Then you notice a digital coupon was not taken off, their response "Did you just clip it's what, I've been inconvenienced while they were talking etc..counting all my items, and because the digital coupon I clip at 5 am and it's now 9:30 am because they have to do something, I've been disrespected, treated as a criminal, confronted, etc... 2) Digital coupon didn't come off I took groceries to my car. I went back into customer service. Stand some more because she has not current ad, yet I gave her my phone and receipt, more time standing. The digital coupon was for 1.99 petite potatoes, they came up as 3.49 with 50c off. Well that's not 1.99 that's 2.99 a bag. She told me I had a 50 c coupon. She said the computer screen prompts you to decide to use the 50 c coupon or the 1.99 coupon. I have never seen Kroger's computer screen show that at self checkouts here in *** **** MI. I went back to my car to bring back in my 2 bags of petite potatoes to return them. She was gone and the man who replaced her, scanned my potatoes for return for 1.99 a bag vs the 2.99 I was charged on my receipt. I pointed out on my receipt. Apparently by the time I went out to my car and returned to the customer service the digital coupon was activated for the advertised price of 1.99. So potatoes returned for credit of 5.98. Always trying to cheat customers out of money, treat us as criminals, loss prevention workers working self service because they are not cashiers we do all the work, scanning, bagging, coupons, tendering money transactions. My experience with Kroger's over the past month sucks

They changed the Kroger Allergy Tablet (generic benadryl) bottle, so that people with arthritis aren't able to open the bottle anymore. I called the corporate number, and spoke to one woman, who was very nice, to explain to her that the new bottle design is too hard to open. She transferred me to *******, who she believed was the manufacturer. Unfortunately, ******* isn't, and they told me to call Kroger back. I got transferred around a bit and I ended up with a gentleman by the name of ***. I swear I was very nice and polite, and he offered me a full refund, I thanked him and told him that was lovely, but that doesn't address the issue of the new bottle design being impossible to open for people with arthritis. He then snaps at me, "What do you want me to do, come to your house and open it for you?" I got off the phone with him and started crying and my partner convinced me to try again. I asked to speak to ***'s manager, and he said he'd talk to ***, but what do I want him to do about it, he's in ****. I asked him if the pharmacy could open it for me and put it in a medication bottle that I can open, and he told me that had nothing to do with him.I'd like to point out that I spoke to multiple people this morning, and every single female was polite, professional, and did their best to try to help. The two men (***, and his supervisor), were very brusque, and if not outright rude, definitely had a "this isn't my problem" type of attitude.I don't want a refund. I want them to speak to their manufacturer and get the arthritis friendly bottles back. And possibly have *** and his supervisor get some extra training in customer service. Speaking to people like that just isn't ok.

I purchased 2.92 # of chicken breast at $4.99 pound. For the first time I decided to weigh it when I got home using my kitchen scale. There was a lot of liquid and the absorbent pad was full as well in the plastic tray. Here are the results:7.33 oz for tray and juices.39.5 oz of chicken.Total 46.83 oz (almost 3 pounds)So at $4.99 pound I paid approximately $2.29 for the tray and juices.WHAT A SCAM!

The digital coupons only work half the time. The app only works half the time. They never have enough checkouts so you use the self check out and its a pain in the **** because you have to leave all your stuff there on the counter even if its for complete your check out, I give them one star or less if there are other grocery stores I go to them.

I had a very negative experience today at self-check out. When the issue I was having escalated, the employee called a "manager" to the front. This man had on jeans, a tshirt and baseball cap and no name badge. He was also in need of a shave. He said to me, "Well, if she called me up here, that probably means its time for you to leave!" He looked like he pushed the carts in. I'm not sure who he wasm. The female employee physically approached me to take the grocery bag away and said "You didn't pay for that" She came across as threatening. I wasn't going anywhere. My card just got declined. She also made me count my items to make sure they matched up what was on the screen, but she was the one who rang everything them up. I go to this location because it's convenient. I would rather drive a few more miles to Wal-Mart, where the prices are cheaper and self-check out runs more efficiently.

We purchased a set of zero gravity chairs which were poorly packaged and arrived broken. It took about a month to get a refund and they lied to us multiple times. They also didn't want to refund our sales tax even though we sent the item back. Here are the details:Upon receiving the broken item, we took the set to our local Fred Meyer store. 3 staff members were doing nothing but standing at the returns desk. They immediately said they couldn't help us as the stores are separate from their website. I then filed a request online to return the item for a refund. No response. Several days later, I called their customer service number. After a lengthy wait, the rep said they would refund us and it would take 7-10 days. That was a lie. On top of that she said they won't be refunding the sales tax! I told her that was illegal. She insisted they could not refund it.On day 11, I called again. After a lengthy wait, the rep said she needed to ask her manager about it. She put me on hold. 20 or so minutes later, the system hung up on me. I knew they had my phone number and thought they might call me back with an answer. No. I called again. After another lengthy wait was told my refund would arrive the next day. That was another lie. Finally, I receive an email with postage paid label to return item and told I would be refunded for the purchase price, but not sales tax, when they receive the item. I respond to the email to remind them that withholding our sales tax is illegal. We ship item back.A few days later, nearly a month after we filed the first report of a problem, we were finally refunded including the sales tax.We were never treated with respect. We were lied to twice. They tried to cheat us out of our full refund. It took too long. We hauled this heavy set downtown twice to try to resolve the issue. Their customer service phone reps are completely useless.

We are a daycare center and we had an issue with the delivery system one day where the delivery driver started yelling and throwing our groceries after they canceled items from our order because they didn't want to bring a big order (well, don't take it if you can't do it) and we called in to put a complaint. Ever since then, they did something to our account and we have not been able to order from them and when we call they just say it's an issue with cache and cookies. We know it's the account they did something because we tried different browsers, mobile app, and nothing until we used another account and it worked perfectly. It's been 2 months and they keep going around in circles saying they don't know. How are you going to tell me they can't resolve something like this in 2 months???? That's ridiculous.

When you complete an online order the website states The driver will contact when they arrive. BUT they don't!! When you talk to a customer service representative they tell you that the driver doesn't have the capability to contact the customer. Then why have a false statement on the website? They also told me that the driver doesn't have to actually hand the bags to the customer. They can leave the bags on the filthy ground. Even if you don't check the box to leave the groceries at the door the driver can do that. Kroger has gone away from customer satisfaction to being more concerned about money.
