1 starI shop at the Kroger's stores located at Collins Lane Blvd and Crossroads Blvd. in Northern Kentucky. On two different occasions, there were no carts to use at the Collins Lane location with thirty minutes left before they closed, and shoppers were told that no transactions would be allowed after 10p.m. at the Crossroads Blvd. location. That's bad business!Review fromwilliam a

1 starKroger's has started using "Digital Coupons". The customer must scan the QR(?) Code with their Smart Phone in order to get the discount. Like most people on Social Security, I can't afford a Smart Phone. In effect, the discount is reserved for rich people. When I see a product that I want and it has a Digital Coupon, rather than pay full price, I protest against Kroger's discrimination policy against poor people by not buying the product. This costs Kroger's a sale.
I am currently looking for an alternate place to buy my groceries. This will cost Kroger's a customer.
Please don't try to contact me by email because I usually only check my email once or twice a year.Review fromSarah E

1 starI did a Kroger Delivery on Friday March 10th. My delivery never got delivered. I have spent countless time and energy making phone calls to Kroger's Customer Service. A refund was issued last Friday. I never did receive the refund. The amount of money I paid for my food and the delivery never got refunded back to me. No to mention I had to go out and re purchase my food for my little boy. I am hard working single Mom. I do not have money to just throw around. Now I am struggling after spending a lot of money that I should not have to do due to my order not being delivered. What is really messed up is the Instacart agent wanted me to go look from house to house for my order. Which I think is unsafe. Also I have emailed Kroger and have not heard back. Although they credited my Kroger Plus Card $70.00, it still does not add up the amount I spent or the money that I am out of of. Kroger Delivery and Instacart is complete ** business.Review fromKenneth M

2 starsBeware of buying unstickered bulk sweet potatoes at Maxtown Westerville Kroger. Multiple times I have had checkout ring them up as much more expensive yams.Review fromMichelle W

1 starKroger has gone downhill fast. Most of the stores are filthy. Kroger used to be my favorite grocery store but no longer.
I will drive the extra mile to go to the ****** which is always clean and has pleasant helpful staff.
My specific complaint is with the Kroger located at 3618 Highway 138 in Stockbridge GA. Besides the filthy condition of this specific Kroger, there is a cashier named Makayla who is extremely rude to customers she is the number one reason I will never step foot in another Kroger. The second reason is when I called customer service to report my experience the representative stated the cashier doesn’t have to bag my groceries if I have a lot of groceries. I had less than 20 items. Earlier in the week I purchased more items in the same store and a different cashier bagged them all no problem. Anyway the customer service rep hung up the phone without getting the information about the Kroger and cashier.Review fromRobbie M

1 starKroger convinced me to try ordering my groceries for delivery directly through them. I understood that they have Instacart shoppers who handle it although it was more efficient. NOT! I've tried this twice. Each time my order was pushed to the next day even though my order was placed well within the order window. No one contacted me by text; I had no notice. I called myself to find out what happened. I cancelled the order to get my money back. Kroger just doesn't care about their customers. They are nothing but a big box store. There is no customer service. In the store, customer service is only there to vend cigarettes, handle money orders or other non grocery shopping services. With delivery, they really aren't doing anything. It is still Instacart. The only thing you get by using the direct ordering with Kroger online is a very small discount. From now on I'll use ****** who cares about their customers; keeps their store stocked; demonstrates REAL customer service by having their staff speak to you in their stores; ask you if they can help, and appreciate their customers. I also don't have to worry about fruit flies flying around their produce and bringing them home or having them delivered to my home.Review fromEverardo C.

3/08/23 time 2:00pm-2:10pm
It was around 2:00pm I arrive to kroger with my friends it was 6 six of us coming to buy snacks and some games and some Legos
Within that moment my friend she gets kick out just having her backpack and connie (the Kroger crew member) starts yelling at my friend just having her backpack and threatening to call the security to get her removed from the store and the property she was very disrespectful. Towards her and she followed me and friends to lego section and yelled at us 'said if you make a mess you kids and I will call security on you to get you remove from kroger' me and friends felted harass and discriminate towards me and friends towards our color. And we went on our business to buy stuff and connie was following us and called security again for my friend. And I check out at the cashier I spend about 120 dollars in items to get mistreated on how the store manager (Taylor) on how rude he was towards me and my friends was yelling at us about the backpack and I told you can check our stuff. After that he walk away. After the issue I have complained to corporate of kroger I called about 3 times the first two I was hang up on the third time the worker does not seem to care and hanging up on me. 1 starTwo times now have placed a delivery order with Kroger and not received it. First time the driver said they must have delivered to wrong address. Second time, Wednesday March 1st, truck pulls up outside house, sits for a few minutes, driver never gets out, then drives away and we get delivery notification and receipt.
Call customer service, they're nice enough but they tell me the driver said they dropped it at the door (aka lied) and then had the gall to ask if my wife looked outside for the order. I guess they just assume we're ignorant? Wife saw the truck pull up, never saw the driver get out of the truck and drive away. Not only that, but she obviously looked outside and even checked neighbor houses to see if groceries had been dropped at wrong door by accident. Kroger initiated a refund of our $148 but said it will take 7-10 business days. First time they took full advantage of the 10 business which equated to waiting two weeks to get our grocery budget back. Family of seven being short on budget makes things difficult. Kroger needs a better solution. Either look up order and re-deliver groceries, credit to account so we can place order again (either for pick up or delivery, assuming that one actually gets delivered), or refund from local store.
Waiting 7-10 business days to get our budget back on track is unacceptable. At the very least I won't be spending any more money at Kroger for a good long while.Review fromSharon R

1 starI ordered delivery for Sunday morning and it was delivered to some wrong address somewhere other than my porchf. When I called the store they informed me that I had to call Instacart to get it fixed, they could do nothing about it. I had to look up the Instacart website to get a number because I didn't know I was registered with them. I called them and was told they couldn't help me because my phone number and the number on my loyalty card didn't match my account information. I have had that card since 1994 and have no idea what that phone number was because I had roommates and was going to college then. I can't fill out the complaint/help form becuase I don't know that number and it won't accept the number on my card, which is the same number on my account online which I ordered the groceries from. Basically I am just out money and food and they don't give a rat's **** I will never deal with Instacart or Krogers again because they lie! They told me that my order was coming from the Sheridan store, but when I called to see where it was, they said they didn't deliver and I needed to call the store it came from, but they don't know which store that is and neither do I because online, it says it's my store on 80th and Sheridan. All I get is bots who hang up me, chat bots who hang up on me and say I am not responding to them, or people who don't know who they work for and jsut can't help me! I am now out $62 dollars and will have to wait to file a complaint for refund with my credit card company and go through another fight that King Soopers and Instacart will probably fight becuase they *********!!!Review fromCharles C

1 starOver priced, bad quality of veggies, fruit, and meats. Went there today because they advertised ribeye for $5.97 lb. When I got there there were basically scraps left over in the meat bin so I went to the butcher and asked him if he could cut me a couple pieces. He tells me no, what's in the bin is all we have and walks away. It happens all the time I try and give Kroger another chance. I am so done with this grocery store! I was never treated like this at ***. It's going to be very unfortunate for you Kroger shoppers when *** comes into town because I have a strong feeling they will run Kroger out of town just like they did in the early 2000's in the Austin area.
