I have done business with Kroger or Jayc for years. I have had my check turned down four times in last 6 to 8 months. I would like to know why. The money is in our account.I have called our bank an they said the problem is with Kroger. So I would like to find out what the problem is. We spend 4 to 600 a week on groceries,if they don't want to except our checks fine I can an will go elsewhere. Would like to know what their problem is. Thank you **********************************

Kroger is a rip off! I placed an online order but was notified of a few things out of stock. They offered substitutions but didnt honor the same price for the things substituted. I called and they said they wouldnt do anything about the overcharged items. Horrible customer service!!!!

My experience isn't horrible, other than everything I want is out-of-stock, or low stock. I can't figure out why ****** has everything but Kroger has nothing. I'm afraid I'm going to have to go back to Instacart at ****** since rarely are they out of anything.

I bought 3 $25 ********* Warehouse gift cards at the Austin Landing Kroger south of ******, OH. ********* Warehouse is a small chain with restaurants in Dayton, Columbus, Akron, Toledo, Houston and Syracuse. When I got home, I read the "fine print" on the gift cards.... the cards are only good at the Columbus location----about 70 miles away. I'm now stuck with 3 gift cards that I can't use at the local ********* Warehouse which is about 10 miles away. Why is the Austin Landing store selling gift cards that can't be used at a local restaurant? Called customer service and explained my problem. “After talking to Corporate”, they said could not help. They said that the store manager would call me on Monday, 8/22. Apparently, the store manager has the authority to resolve my problem if he/she chooses to do so. Naturally, no call.... So, the moral to the story…. BEWARE of the gift cards you buy at Kroger’s… They may not be good at local establishments.

Kroger is practicing improper banking. For delivery orders they are putting two holds on your card and then letting one drop off (after 3-5 days). I called in and was originally told this should not be happing an is an error only to be later told that no this is correct. So if you spend 300 dollars you should expect to have over 600 held for 3-5 days. They will not fix this and calm that they cant see holds for 32 hours even though they could see my first hold less than 24 hours later. Unfortunately that bank can only step in after it gets posted so there is nothing you can do for 3-5 days while they hold your money and you cannot access it. There is nothing in the fine print or on there site that says they do this and I believe it is improper banking.

King Soopers used to be my favorite store, sadly that is not how I now feel. I have a problem with my digital clipped coupons applying to my order. I've made several phone calls to Kroger customer service the past few months, the last one insured me the problem was resolved. This was not case. My last curbside pickup I showed pictures of my clipped digital coupons plus the paper ad to received credit for the slipped coupons plus the items on sale. I've purchased items in the store and had the same problem. I then have to go to the service desk after completing my purchase at check out to receive a refund for my clipped coupons and sale items. Really disappointed that Kroger cannot or will not the IT error. I'm an elder and have several medical issues and live on a fixed income, this puts more stress on my health having to deal with this especially when food prices are outrageous. The last employee at the King Soopers service desk checked my phone and said everything was done correctly on it.

Regarding "Boost" program.I enrolled for $99 July 29, 2022. Today, August 15, 2022, I learned from the delivery driver that they do not accept paper coupons.I called my local store, and they didn't know if they accepted them or not. I called the Kroger phone number and was put on hold for 20 minutes and never was put through to anyone.I did live chat and was told that since I've place orders and it's been over a month, that I cannot get a refund. When I asked if the coupon policy is in the information about the Boost program, the answer was "coupons can only be taken at a register," which is untrue because they take them when I go for pick up. So I repeated the question. He said that on the coupon it says they aren't accepted at delivery, again a lie, because I looked all over the coupons and it does not say that. When I told him this, he ended the chat before responding.Silly, but paper coupons are deal breakers for me, and I cannot find in any of their Boost info, where they say that paper coupons are NOT accepted.I have no choice now but to just cancel the subscription with no refund, but I feel it's very misleading to not tell all the information up front.

Frys (Kroeger) Grocery store is denying sale prices if a customer does not have the app on their phone. This is discrimination due to some people not having a phone, not able to download the app, etc. Certain sale items can only be purchased with a "click" instead of a paper coupon. They denied me a sale because I only had the paper coupon and they required a "click" on my phone. ******* is doing the same thing but so far they override it for me but threatened not the next time.

I purchased an item that was on sale at Fred Meyers in **********, **. I used the digital app as required by them for the sale. On August 9th at 7:30 pm I purchased the cherries for $1.99 lb on sale and was evidently charged full price of $4.99 lb. While driving home I pulled over and checked my receipt. Returning to the **************** area I was given $7.85 back as a refund on my credit card.My complaint is that the **************** person was well aware of the ongoing over-charges in the fruit area especially. She told me she had been giving out refunds already from that area. This was the last day of the sale period and evidently the next weeks prices had been downloaded in the computer already. Fred Meyers' employees knew what was going on and did not correct the error? How many people had been overcharged? Monies knowingly stolen? Deliberately showing one price in their flyer and online, while taking more money from people. Especially in these hard times! I had to use more gas also to go back to the store to confront and correct 'Fred Meyers'' problem. This is on called for. Was is laziness to change the prices for the next days Ad? Or was it done to take money out of peoples wallets? This was shameful---every dollar counts. Fred Meyers doesn't want money stolen from them--do they? They claim low prices...... Stop your cashiers from talking to customers when they are checking out so we can view what we are being charged without ongoing senseless conversations. Unless, this is done on purpose, also. (They really don't care--how we are doing--do they?)
