    I am baffled by the lack of professionalism I have seen from this business. It is utterly disappointing that members of todays society are just greedy, deceitful, and out-right horrendous tactics to get peoples money. Currently, SmartPay wants me to pay off a phone that no longer works, and buy a new one. The warranty I have on my phone, conveniently for them, does not cover anything. And, best of all, they wanted me to call them, with a phone that does not work....

    I would have love to have gave a -0 rating. This is a true RIP OFF. Leasing with this company does not benefit the leaser at all. You will end up paying 2xplus the price!
    Noting goes towards the principle AT ALL! I have to take accountability for not reading the contract completely. I was excited and the figures sound good.
    They don't VERBALLY tell you the details that will have you SCREWED in the end.
    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

    Such a load of **! I applied for it got approved and it let me go through every single step up until payment and froze up. I didn't this about 4 times before giving up. Every time it sent me a text saying I was close to finishing the process and just had t pay. Tried to contact customer service a few times with no response as well.
    Then every time I got a text it would have me click to verify agreements and with each one my total amount changed and grew to new totals. This morning I had an email from them stating I better hurry before I loose my voucher so again I tried frm their website and then it decided to tell me I had gotten denied. Why gi and tell people they are approved and let them complete a bunch of paper work and have them waste their time for that ****? It's a lie and scam and waste im of time. I'm almost to the point it makes me think I'm going to drop my cell plan with straight talk over this crap. Bad business.

    I lease thru this company. But phone thru straight talk. Straight talk wanted me to send the phone back cause of malfunction with the phone. Sent the phone back in February 17 2023. Tracked the phone delivery on February 19 2023. Waited for straight talk to send a phone back. Finally in March 8 2023. Straight could not send me a replacement phone. So I contact smartpay about my money back. It took two weeks before they believed the phone was sent back to straight talk. Now I am In april. Out of $1087.94. I have only received 747.86. They sent the other have to a card that expired. And they never contact me about the funds being return to they. Now today is April 22 2023. And they want send me the money. Smartpay saying they have to request a check. And it will take 90 business day for it to get to me.

    1st..was not told it was a lease but 3 easy payments in 90 days...sound good...its not true... charged 85.00 for a 51 days...monies taken out of my account dvery other week ? no paperwork given, and retailsr was not knowledgeable about any of it....done thru ***** pcs...would not tell any body,friend,family to no one about these people..smartpay is a terrible,dishonest business that needs to be shut down..

    I contacted smart pay in regards to leasing a phone I asked if I needed a new service plan since I already had one through total wireless and they said no. Everything was Starting in august until october came around and a $100 service plan fee was added. Since October 22 I have been calling every week and every month trying to get answers on why I am being charged the service plan if I already had one. So I have been paying total wireless and smart pay monthly and smart pay just points the finger at total wireless. We have came to a point where they tell me it has been "escalated" To corporate and to call back in 24-48 hours. they have been telling me that Since January 2023 to call back and that it was escalated. I am still being charged $100 for the mysterious smart pay service plan and I can't get anyone to assist and they refuse to provide any info and refuse to do anything to help with my case. Everyone I speak with is baffled.

    First off I will never use them again, they will turn off your service which you pay and then act like they cannot find your account. They give me the same number 3 times when I was already on the line with the **** ppl. Worst ******* service ever

    This company is wrong in so many ways. Taking peoples money not being able to find them in their system and how is that when they are charging your account every month. When God get through with these crooked folks they’re not going to know what hit them!!!!! This mess needs to stop immediately!!!!!!!!!

    If there was 0 stars I would give it. Wish I had read the reviews first. I realized 6 months in that I was paying a lease fee and a service plan fee. Which means I was paying a service plan twice - once through Total By ******* and once through Smart Pay. I spent an hour on the phone with their customer service on hold many times and the person was perplexed why I was paying twice. She let me know I'd have to call back to see how the escalation of my case went. I am sure I won't see this money back. They don't call you once the case is resolved. It seems like a scam. I went ahead and paid off the lease and hopefully both fees will no longer occur. I also could not delete my credit card number which is also bad. It is very deceiving - you think you are purchasing the service plan to renew the phone but you are not - you just signed up for a second fee where they make the real money. Definite scam. Hope this saves someone else. I'll call back to see what happened with my ticket but I bet you the answer is the money is gone.

    Won't update my card to an account that has funds but will keep my cards that will not have funds on the account.
    Random phone numbers that are not mine showing on my account that they also "cannot" remove.
    Chose English, still get someone who barely speaks it every time.
    Cannot update our own account information online, have to call customer service for everything and they are not helpful at all.
