I purchased a bed from ABC Warehouse in Holland, MI that used to use Tempoe as a third party payment company. I don’t remember the exact amount, but the bed costed around $1100-$1200. I remember paying off the entire thing and more. This company would take extra money from my account, putting me negative quote often. I should mention this originally happened 6 years ago. After they continued to take money from me, I closed that account as nobody would help me argue that I paid and overpaid for this bed. I then get served at my home saying I owe $2500 but they will “settle” for $1800. I try to call the lawyer and the company but always get put on hold which later just hangs up. No matter how many times I try, I never get through to speak to someone about my inquiry. I don’t hear back for awhile, then last year (2022) as I was filing my taxes, I get an alert that Tempoe is going to be taking my entire state return (around $670). There was nothing I could do about it so I just let it happen. In December of 2022 I got served at work saying they were now going to garnish my wages. I try to call and dispute, nobody ever talks to me. So I tell my work to I guess go ahead and garnish my wages (25% of my check). They’re garnishing $1800 worth. Then I find out that Tempoe is a whole scam today. I should have known better, but I also shouldn’t have had to know that this is a real problem that people deal with. I’ve now paid $3-4k on a bed that costed $1100. I read that if you take longer to pay for what you buy from them, they make you pay for the product indefinitely. This is crazy to me, I can’t afford to keep paying for this. Please help me. I will have to send supporting documents separately. Please can you help me.Business Response

For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.This still does not help me. I overpaid for the product I purchased (a bed) multiple times and when trying to talk to someone at Tempoe about it, I either get hung up on after being on hold for long periods at a time, or my call never even gets picked up. This is not okay and I do not by any means accept that the response from Tempoe is to call them because they are never willing to give me straight answers. There is nothing being resolved here. I want my money back.

I got an alert fron transunion this company was trying to collect a debt. I have never heard of this company. I never got a loan from them or purchased anything from them. I don't even live in Ohio, I live in AZ. Obviously there is some type of fraud going on. I am going to try and dispute this to get it off my credit. I received an alert on my credit report about a collections account started by an 09 Tempoe LLC for the amount of $1200 dollars. I have no idea what this company even is and have received zero correspondence from this company about any bills or collections attempts. I looked them up online and apparently it's some leasing company I've never heard of that's not even accepting new leases anymore and is apparently very shady. This is absolutely a fraudulent claim and I have filed for identity theft previously because of situations like this. I will not be paying anything on this debt as it is not mine.Business Response

I received a negative credit alert email message today on 1/24/23 from all three credit bureaus. The message stated there has been a change to your credit that can have a negative impact. I received 2 text messages and a phone call in regards to an account with this. I do not have an account, it wasn’t opened with me. I advised during that time my information was fraudulently obtained by a known person. They became rude and threatening to destroy my credit and put it to a collections agency.
