1 starThis was the last email I sent them...It has been six days since I have sent you proof that Paycor dropped the ball on communication and once again that it is next to impossible to get help or be acknowledged. Six days waiting for a reply... This is precisely indicative of the situation that I have experienced since October. Now, before you come back and give me the excuse of this and that or you were waiting on him or her, please start the conversation with ACCOUNTABILITY. This is the entire issues here. Paycor never takes any accountability. I'm going post this on every review, social media, and perhaps even a billboard right off 35 and 435 Hwy to show that what this company is doing is wrong. This company is absolutely terrible. I closed my business in October. I tried at least 8 times to get a hold of them. I used there online chat, email, and phone. I couldn't get a hold of anyone. They are trying to make me pay $700 for no services rendered because I couldn't get a hold of them and they were literally charging me every month, even though the business was closed. Now they are holding *** hostage from my ex-employees. Don't use this company.Review fromRyan T

1 starThis company refuses to give me back money that they took out my account without my permission after I decided I didn’t want the service anymore. then they continually took money out of my account and then keep trying to charge me late fees on top of that, knowing I signed the to leave!!! When I get to a representative all they do is send you to another representative from a different department then tell you they will email you and not call you because they don’t want to deal with you like they should.So basically, they just take your money without your permission. 1 starWorst customer service I have ever seen. They actually do NOT have customer service available whatsoever. I am the Office Manager for a company that unfortunately uses Paycor. I have an employee who's phone number changed and now cannot access his account no matter what we do, even though we changed his number on his account. I am unable to receive ANY assistance whatsoever from Paycor. There is NOT an online chat. There is NOT an email. There is a phone number, but you cannot access it without a number that does not show up using the directions that they give you. I find this lack of assistance to be completely unprofessional, and I wish we knew this before changing over from another company just because Paycor works with ********. 1 starThe absolute worse payroll company. They outsource technical service so you are dealing with foreigners who do not know the US tax law. Because of the bad service we switched payroll companies to *** in November. Without asking they filed w2s with only part of the year causing the w2s to be wrong. Then they refused to correct them, and had the audacity to charge us for them.Review fromJoe A

1 starDo not got with Paycor, absolutely horrendous experience. We now have yet another issue to resolve with the *** because Paycor did not pay taxes to them for Q4. This is the second time in one year this has happened, which puts in jeopardy with the *** and we'll most likely face penalties. How can a payroll company miss paying taxes on payroll?? This should be like breathing for a payroll company. We stopped using them as of December 2024 because of all the issues we've experienced and we just got a notice from the *** that our Q4 taxes haven't been paid, but Paycor sure took our money. I'm sure it's going to be a chore to get them to correct this now. It's been so incredibly frustrating that I'm actually lodging a complaint on the Better Business Bureau, which I have never done. I can't believe we have another situation with the ***. I've never had an experience like this with any vendor or software. I'll echo another review I saw...the worst ever!Review fromJeff P

1 starDO NOT use this company! By far the worst customer service experience of my life. They charged me a monthly penalty for apparently having the wrong tax ID when I showed them screen shots showing them otherwise AND with a system error on their severely outdated website. They hung up on me twice and couldnt tell me why they wouldnt refund me. They are thieves. STAY AWAY!Review fromRenae H

If I had known how bad they are, I never would have switched one of my client’s payroll service to them.
I have struggled for 6 weeks to get them to correct THEIR mistake on a W2.
Still NO. Resolution!

It's the worst payroll company you can work with. This is the worst customer experience that I have ever experienced. They will not allow you to speak with the supervisor, the customer service is rude, and will not listen to the issues that the customer is facing. They overcharge the clients and don't take accountability for their mistakes. If you want to scream at yourself for signing a contract that has policies that don't align with common sense then feel free to frustrate yourself. For instance, I had no payroll run, and they charged me for 15 active employees and would not remove them from the invoice. By the way, they charge you for every employee. Then they held my W2s hostage because they overcharged me and wanted me to pay this overpriced invoice. Emails take several days to respond and then it still doesn't offer any solutions. THE WORST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
