      I had my water heater replaced in September. It's now January and it is already leaking. I called at 6:30 pm on Friday when the leak happened. I was told no one will come until Monday because they don't have techs after 6 or on the weekend. How are they able to advertise 24/7? What am I supposed to do? They won't honor the warranty if I get someone else to come out.

      I have to do another review because I cannot reply to the company on my post. You never gave me your email. But, I have an update. On Saturday I received a call, apologizing that the service person was late. I was told to not expect someone until Monday because no one worked in my area on the weekend. I live in a large city in Connecticut. It wasn't one operator who told me that.. it was THREE. It's all set, I just don't like being made to feel helpless and mislead.

      It took 15 days for them to do a 2 day job. On day 1 a crew showed up to dig a trench, but were waiting for a plumber who didn't know he was supposed to be at this site. The installation of the trench went well, however the plumber didn't show up to do his job until after close of business. The pump was installed poorly and did not work. It took 12 days of me calling the company before I got a response. That response was for me to finish paying for the job that was not working. After I told them the job was done poorly and did not work, it took them 2 days to send out a plumber who took 5 more days to finish the job. Over 15 days for a 2 day job. The supervisors don't spot check the work or communicate properly with the employees or customers. The employees don't communicate to the bosses, and NO-ONE communicated with the Customer. I am still waiting for the warranty for parts installed and a Supervisor to call and discuss how this job could have been done better. My advice is to call anyone other than Roto-Rooter.

      I was taken advantage of and the employee knew exactly what he was doing. jonathan leftely roto-rooter austin tx no one from the company will return my emails or phone calls. I trusted him because of the name Roto-rooter. It was a big mistake and Roto-rooter should make it right. ****** ******

      requested service to attach gas line to newly installed water heater $1,000.00 for 30 minutes work?? Taking advantage of 75 year old retiree's, should be a crime.

      Roto-Rooter came to my home to look at a flood in an emergency. They made it very clear that they would need to come onsite to assess the cost of the work necessary to fix the issue. The technicians started looking at my flood outside, assessing the issue, and then charged me $500 without ever telling me the price or asking if I approve of the cost. They are completely unprofessional and regret calling them.
