This is Roto Rooter. Everyone I’ve dealt with previously who came were all very nice but this dude tonight was so RUDE!!! The dispatchers who lied and said they were managers (John and Earl) told me there was no guarantee on the work they just did a week ago after they didn’t fix anything in the first place. Mind you when I called on 11/26 they said my work was still under warranty from before (where they dug up my pipes for no reason while I was going through CHEMOTHERAPY!). I’m still paying for that! I called with the complaint about the little dude tonight and asked for a new appointment. They told me they wouldn’t give me another appointment after the guy left water on my floor! There was no water on the floor when he got here!! He stayed outside for a half hour speaking Spanish and said he was talking to his supervisor. I heard his entire conversation. He was talking to one of his friends! He left all of his ROTO ROOTER belongings here. He yelled at me and said…DON’T MESS WITH ME! I’LL FIX FOR YOU! There was no water on the floor when he got here! But you leave all this stuff on my floor because I asked you questions!?!! Like what am I signing? And is this under warranty! Are you all serious!?!? No one ever called me back to resolve the actual issue from 11/26 until now. This is ridiculous!! One of the phone reps said they always do this because they don’t want to do the work. The water mitigation team was great! Mostly everyone I’ve dealt with was great but that little dude tonight!! Not acceptable at all!! Roto-Rooter (Baltimore) Time for an attorney to go with the other class action lawsuits that you have because you were replacing people’s pipes like you did mine when there was ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with them in the first place!Roto-Rooter

1 starOn Thursday Dec 7th 2023 a Daniel came the technician from Roto Rooter came to my door on time was polite and professional however about 5 minutes later a Hunt the camera guy and George the cleaner arrived. After about 4 to 5 hours Daniel was able to clear the drain however my shower in my bathroom still fills up with water after I informed the rep today December 10th. Daniel took both of my toilets apart and instructed me to purchase a flange and Roto rooter would return to attach so both of my bathrooms can run properly. I went to ****** today December 10th call Roto rooter a Dorian said he could attach it for $750 I was like what do you mean you guys dismantle my toilets reattach them so they are properly functioning. Dorian then proceeded to tell me maybe he can get the fee down to $500 as if he was doing me a favor it was absurd and insulting when the job was not technically completed from December 7th. I have a none working toilet and a shower that still fills up with water that I paid $700 for they wanted additional money which makes no sense. Dorian then tells me would I like his business card I close the door he knew I was naive fool are gullible. This is absurd like everyone said they railroad women like it’s nothing. This company has no integrity and fixes your problem and intentionally leaves the job unfinished to ensure you’ll need them to come back. Daniel charge me to place a new flange on my bedroom bathroom and I’m confused why he didn’t go ahead and install a new one on the guest bathroom. It is all calculated and theft without a gun. This is not ethical or moral conduct that is acceptable. That would explain the lawsuits I seen Roto Rooter had pending against them. 1 starZERO STARS! Every single person when I said I went with roto-rooter had pure dread on their faces. My story is nearly IDENTICAL to this customer's: "Our main sewer line backed up. Roto-rooter came right out. Snaked the drain and said they couldn't penetrate a root ball in the line and it would need to be trenched. It was going to cost 10k. We luckily got a second opinion. They were able to snake the drain and clear it for less than 1k. Roto-rooter had another cleanup guy come out and he was a fast talker wanting us to file an insurance claim and how we needed to spend all this money cleaning up a small overflow."- They got to 10ft, stopped and said they can't get past. (this is the first time I've used this company and in the past, a DIFFERENT COMPANY was ALWAYS able to clear to the street. So I disputed the $467 charge and asked them to come back and get through this or I'm not paying. Then they spent more time on it, got to 20ft, saw roots again, and STOPPED AGAIN...Then they sent me a new proposal to have all of this replaced!!! So I maintained the disputed charge for my cc company to investigate. Now they are saying they will sue ME for payment!!!Review fromJessica M

1 starI hired roto rooter in October or 2021 Work was supposed to be done on my sewage pump I bought the pump. Roto rooter was to install the sewage pump I purchased. I had no issues for a year and some. Then the sewage pump started backing up again. I paid roto rooter over 775 and paid water restoration also through roto rooter so I’m well over 1000$ not wanting to spend so much the second time around I reached out to my realtor who put me in contact with someone who put me in contract with another plumber. When this plumber pulled out what I thought was a sewage pump it was infact a sump pump!!! No one has touched my sewage pump since the tech at roto rooter in Baltimore md the audacity of him to come in my home and steal my part and put in a sump pump. I have been going back and forth with a manager at roto rooter to get my money back No luck ! It’s bad enough they tried to charge me 1000$ for a 400$ sewage pump I had to pay 775 for the work done and they are saying they can’t give me my money back it been to long well statue of limitations is 7 years and it only been two I want my money back and the money spent to get a new part and the money is cost to get it put back in roto rooter cost my thousand in damages and they need to be held accountable for their thieving employees! Don’t let them work alone in your home watch over them like a hawk! if they leave out check what they bring back in your house check what they leave out with they left with my brand new sewage pump in a black bags he tried to take the box but I wanted to keep it cause it said I had a 3 year warranty but come to find out I can’t use it because he STOLE MY PART!!!! No Stars! They came out scammed my family out of our hard working money on a job they never properly finished. Only to turn around 3 days later to tell me to call the City of ********* to fix a job they was paid to fix, however the worker said to get it done for fee on the taxpayers dime because they are to lazy and incompetent to do it the right way. I responded with I am one of those taxpayers!! Save yourself and your money!!!Roto-Rooter

He said our furnace was blowing p*** in our ducts. After he left we removed the furnace filters to inspect the bottom of the furnace and it was bone dry with years of duct. Just a mir scare tactic.
