  Root Rooter did a Fantastic job clearing a garment from our pipes that someone flushed down the drain. They may cost more than a mom and pop plumber, but they are fast. Our other plumber may not have as fast.

  Way Overpriced. Run! They charged $754 to unclog a drain. I have always used Roto Rooter in the past and had great results. Naturally I called them and I did not think to ask what they are charging because they were always reasonable... but not anymore! ****** *** ********* would have done it for $100. RIP OFF SCAMMERS!

  They stood me up two times. I called on a Monday evening (6:00pm) because they claim they will come at any hour. They told me it would be in the next 4 hours. They called at 9:30 and told me they were unable to find a plumber. The operator asked when the next window of time would work and I told them the following day after 6:30pm. By 7:30 the next day I hadn't heard anything so I called to see if they could give me a rough time for arrival. They sent me through a few operators and finally said my dispatcher was on another call. I was told the dispatcher would be emailed and I would be contacted. They never called that evening...still haven't. Luckily, I finally had time to work on it and cleared the lines with a $30 auger from *****.

  Do not use this company! Tried to scam ** into a fake sewer line repair. Was just a clog for which they charged $738. Had three guys in for a simple clog. Tried the hard sell, claiming we needed work done to the tune of $8500. Sad to think of all the people these frauds take advantage of.

  a Rip Off. I contracted with Roto-Rooter to clean a clog. They did so well although their fee was very high. They found a collapsed main drain pipe via their camera. They quoted a price of $5,900 to replace a 10' piece of 70 yr old pipe. I Knew this bid was outrageously high so I got quotes from other reliably septic companies. One offered to do the job for $1,250. I thus avoided a rip-off. Roto-Rooter is preying on unsuspecting Seniors !

  I was grossly overcharged for a minor drain cleaning **** *** plumber charges under $100 Other companies are competitive They charged me $339.00 & that was supposedly with a $75.00 coupon No emergency, no weekend just a total rip

  Receiving any sort of communication from this company is a nightmare. They did repair the mainline, but I'm not really sure if I was scammed or not after reading so many poor reviews. I needed plumbing though, so what could I do. One of my biggest peeves is constantly having to call and find out when they would come do the repair, when the cement work was going to be done and now, I'm trying to find out when the final inspection is going to be performed. I just called them for the sixth or seventh time and received "it's not my problem" from the field supervisor. I still have junk all over my front sidewalk that no one wants to remove. I will NEVER use this company again. I was warned they were crooks but didn't listen.

  We recently had flooding issues and because of our situation Roto-Rooter out of Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, Ohio was called. From the beginning they were professional on all levels from inspection to final outcome and everything in-between. The main inspection was done by Tim K******* and once the problem was diagnosed, an estimate was given and work began shortly after by a great crew headed by Kim and apprentice Mason. They began work shortly after 8:15a.m. and worked till 10:30 at night so we would not be inconvenienced any more then needed. One week later an unrelated issue came up and Roto-Rooter was again called. This time only Kim and Mason came out and just as before the problem was diagnosed (prior work was checked to make sure no mistakes on their part was made), estimate was given and work began a few days later to complete satisfaction. I do not consider either job to have been easy but, Roto -Rooter did what they said they would do at a fair price, in the time frame they set, with employee's who knew what they were doing. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a sewer/plumbing issue.
