      Roto Rooter Charged me $330/hr for a technician job for faucet change. The charge rate is higher than that an engineer or an attorney charges, and here Roto Rooter is charging me $330 an hour. I tried negotiating the price with them, and they hung up on me the very next day when I got the job done. They have one year warranty on the job, and they dare to keep the phone down on the customer because it was a billing issue.

      Dont use this company. I wanted to have my sewer pipes cleaned. They said no problem as they can use either the septic system or go Thur the toilets. They arrived 2 1/2 hours late they dug up for access to septic to say they couldnt use it for access. To use the toilets said it would cost $700 to remove and when they came I told them my son would take them off. All of a sudden that became something they didnt offer and told me there is nothing they can do to clean out the pipes. Then they charged me $350 for digging out then septic which I had them leave opened as the tank was being cleaned out in the morning. What a rip off, I feel they didnt want to do the job as seem lots of excuse as to way they couldnt finish. Btw the septic company digs out as part of their fee so I paid double.

      On Sunday July 23 my husband and I came home to a clogged septic line thanks to our children. My husband located the clog under the house by going into the crawlspace and unscrewing something on the septic pipe. He then used a snake but couldn't loosen the clog. So we called roto-rooter and the technician came out and ran his device from the septic tank to the house. We told him that the clog was under the house and that our system takes a 90 degree turn. I had my doubts that he could reach the clog and I was correct. Well he couldn't get past the 90 degree turn to reach the clog even though he tried for two hours. So he charged us and then came back the next day with the camera guy and he took the toilet off and ran the snake from there and freed the clog in less than 15 minutes. The clog was exactly where my husband told them it would be. We were charged us again. So, the total to free up a wad of toilet paper was $1,326.64. And we were unable to use our toilet until the issue was resolved. We feel like we were scammed and robbed.

      My plumbing service for my dishwasher repair was great! They got straight to work and tested it to make sure it worked properly before they left. Would definitely recommend!

      Unfortunately they do not have no stars as an option. I had a poor experience with water restoration. This was my first experience with having a clog which destroyed my finished basement. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. The lead person had no compassion was rude and confrontational. This was upsetting during an already traumatic time. I made a complaint that obviously was ignored asking no contact with the contract overseer since he called me at work and when I asked him a question he became hostile and hung up on me! He informed me our conversation was taped which I was relieved so it could be replayed. Yet when I received my invoice he was the person of contact if I had any questions. This told me my complaint went nowhere in this company. This told me they do not care about the customer when this behavior is allowed. I chose Roto Rooter despite the high prices thinking that they have a lengthy reputation. However my experience demonstrates this is no longer the case. I would not recommend anyone have to pay ridiculous prices and be berated and degraded. On a positive note the actual workers(staff) especially the young man who picked up the equipment was very professional and kind.They are attempting to charge my insurance $17000.00. It is a scam

      I asked roto rooter in **************** to come look for To replacing my anode rod but there lead guy Named ****** said he didn't know how to change it so I called back to have another person come to fix it and he said because ****** came out and he couldnt he fix it we can't. What's The point of owning a business if you don't know how to do simple repairs.

      Three years ago we had a problem with our water heater in the kitchen. We had Roto-Rooter installed a new water heater and paid $1,600, which we thought was so expensive compared to other water heater in a bath room, which we paid $700 including a new water heater ($450) and labor ($250). Now on 07/08/2023, we noticed that hot water stopped coming out from the water heater in the kitchen and called Roto-Rooter about this problem. They sent technicians and found that the gas control valve is not working properly. They also said that the gas control valve was recalled from the manufacturer (Rheem). But Roto-Rooter did not inform us of the recall of gas control valve. The technicians told us that we need to directly call the manufacturer and must receive a replacement. We called Roto-Rooter but they said that the warranty is 3 years and our part is out of warranty. I called another pluming company and they said that the warranty is 7 years. A person of Roto-Rooter who responded to my phone call lied to us about the length of warranty. Although the person told me that the manager will call us back but the manager never call me. This is the level of service of Roto-Rooter. They are extremely irresponsible and the people working Roto-Rooter are very rude.

      I just wanted to thank Roto-Rooter and Jim B****** in particular for always being supportive and helpful when issues arise. The last time I needed support and had guests arriving to my home within a few hours. Roto-rooter came out and fixed my issue and went above and beyond - some of the parts needed to complete the job failed due to wear and tear and Roto-rooter agreed to replace them free of a labor charge since they were already supporting another issue and the time to replace was nominal. While Roto-rooter may be more expensive, they do offer a premium service that can be trusted and will work quickly to complete any investigation and/or repair. Rock and Roll Roto-Rooter!!

      Customer service is terrible! They claim they provide service 24/7 but was unable to find any plumbers for the emergency call on saturday at 8:00 pm. Offering services on Sunday instead. The customer service rep was very rude. I would never recommend or use them myself again.

      Having different plumbing issues recently I'm glad I went with this company, the guys who came out were very nice, efficient and professional.
