DO NOT GO TO TIRE DISCOUNTERS!
I have used another company for years, and decided to give Tire Discounters a try this time because they had a good deal on a set of tires, but quickly realized that there are ridiculous hidden fees, and they don't really stand behind their warranty.
When you purchase the "Worry Free Guarantee" extended warranty for your tires, you pay 15% of the cost of the tire to cover you for 3 years of any issues. The thing they don't tell you is that in order to replace those tires if something goes wrong, you HAVE TO pay another 15% of the cost of the tire for ANOTHER extended warranty in order for them to honor the warranty you have already paid for.
This is the literal definition of EXTORTION: making you pay more to receive something you have already paid for. This is exactly like paying for a year of car insurance, and then when you get into a crash, they cover your car only IF you pay for another year of car insurance.
The warranty page on their website says, "You will be responsible for the cost of a new certificate in order to continue coverage under the warranty," but it doesn't say that new coverage is mandatory to purchase for the replacement tires. It's absolutely horrible business, and works like a subscrition plan that you can't get out of once you start. I'm done and will be going somewhere else, and I would suggest that anyone else do the same.
I do want to say that the guys in this shop are nice guys, and I haven't had a problem with the quality of their work, but the company policy on their warranty is straight-out extortion. Run away!Tire Discounters, Inc.

Unbelievable AVOID, this place *****!! Location 7345 E 96th St, Indianapolis, IN 46250. Today is November 21 2022, 10:30AM, the ratings should have a zero star rating as well. My first time as a customer with tire discounters and omg NEVER I will bring my business with them. I gave them a chance and to see how this place compares to my AWESOME ******** Tire company and support other local tires businesses. I been doing business with ******** Tire since 2013 and till this day they are freaking awesome with ZERO issue's every time I do business with them. On the other hand Tire Discounters NEVER gave me a call or a text letting me know my car was ready, so I had no car all Saturday and Sunday, till this Monday morning, so I had to borrow a car from a family member. And I drop my car Friday overnight so they can start it first thing Saturday morning. They can’t process a sale without a tire discounters credit card. If you don’t have your tire discounters card, you better have it with you. All my wheels were very dirty and my brand new tires with white stuff all over them they looked used tires. I got pictures. Not a single apology from anyone from this store. I wish I can take my used white stuff ugly looking new tires and get my money back ugh such sad emotional Monday morning. Please go to ******** Tire you won’t regret it, they do the opposite of Tire Discounters and save yourself headache, frustration & time.Tire Discounters, Inc.

I would give it ZERO if I was able!! The store manager at the Maineville, Ohio location saw me coming a mile away! I went in for low tire pressure, it was due to a crack in my rim. When he took me back to show me the crack his only solution was to price me out new rims, rims he had sitting in the showroom floor. It was the end of the month so I am sure he was seeing that bonus $$ for the sale as well as being tired of having to inventory them.
While the rims were being replaced, I sent a picture to a previous TD employee who said “that can be fixed”.
When they called to tell me that my car was fixed, we then asked about why the option to get it fixed was not offered, the store manager stated “it is too big to fix”.
When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the store manager then says he sent pictures of the crack to the repair guy and it can be fixed, but “good luck getting it done anytime soon, I guess he can’t get people to work like anywhere else”, “and even if you were to get it fixed *** rims are notorious for being compromised when they are fixed”. Not once did he say we can see about fixing it, or you can do nothing and drive it as is. The blame was placed on me… from the regional manager “she didn’t have to but the rims”… I was not give any other option.
This store manager bad mouthed another business, and it was allowed! I took my rim to that business that he said good luck getting it done the next day they were open, and had my rim back that day!!! Shame on TD for taking advantage of people, and shame on me for not knowing better I guess! I will always recommend steering clear of TD.
I could also go on and on about how the district manager addressed this issue, but I will save that for further discussion if someone cares to reach out and discuss this further!Tire Discounters, Inc.

If I could give zero stars I would. I called looking to see if I could have tire put on my car at the Tire Discounters in Troy, Ohio. I got lucky and was told that their one o’clock appointment cancelled and they could do it then. I asked how long it would take because I had to pick my child up from school. I was told it would only take two hours max. Awesome, i though. I arrived at 12:50 PM and got checked in. It was wrote on my work order that I would be waiting. Now I’m under the impression that when I am scheduled a time to have work done I’m paying for that time. Well, it took them about an hour to pull my car into the shop and put it on the lift. They then took my tires off and laid them there where they sat until 5:45PM. Then the began changing them out. On my work order it stated that I had to leave at a certain time to get my child from school. Unfortunately I didn’t make the time and I had to call someone to pick up my child. I didn’t get home until 6:30 that evening. I understand things happen. A manager could have come out and informed me that they were behind and it would be a lot longer wait time. I would have had someone pick me up and I could have picked up my car the next day. No one even came out to do any customer service. It was an awful experience for me but I must say thank you tire discounters because I will invest in a tire mount and dismount along with a tire balancer so that this never happens again. You *****Tire Discounters, Inc.

Part 1: I called ahead to get 3 tires (I got the 4th changed a few weeks prior because of a blowout), an alignment, and 4 new TPMS sensors. When I called, I asked for the price on sensors, and I was quoted at $10.99 a piece. I was thrilled because this seemed very cheap. I came in and scheduled my service with the store manager. I told them what I needed, and I told them that I didn't need my Rear Left tire changed since it had just been done, but that they would still need to take it off to change the sensor. I come in on the scheduled day and when paying, asked about the sensors. The tech checking me out (Casey) said, "Yep! Got them all changed and ran the TPMS scanner and verified all 4 sensors." Great! However, when I got into the car, I noticed my TPMS light was still on. So, I came back in the store and told Casey that the light was still on. He grabbed my paperwork and said, "Ah, I see the problem. You paid for Sensor Service Kits, not sensors." I asked him what a service kit was. I told him I had never heard of a service kit. I told him I had asked for sensors. That's when he told me that the service kit was a valve stem. He then and grabbed the store manager.
Part 2: THE STORE MANAGER CAME OUT AND TOLD ME THAT WHEN I HAD COME INTO THE STORE PRIOR, HE HAD TAKEN EXTRA TIME TO EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SERVICE KIT AND A SENSOR, AND THAT WHEN HE HAD TOLD ME THAT SENSORS WERE $69.99 A PIECE, I HAD OPTED FOR THE REPAIR KITS INSTEAD. THIS IS A CATEGORICAL LIE. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I OPT FOR VALVE STEMS WHEN WHAT I NEEDED WERE SENSORS? BECAUSE THEY WERE CHEAPER?? THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE. THAT'S LIKE BUYING A SHIRT FOR THE ARCTIC BECAUSE IT'S CHEAPER THAN A PARKA. DOESN'T COMPUTE. HE BECAME IRATE THAT I WASN'T BELIEVING HIS STORY AND BEGAN TO CONTINUALLY ACCUSE ME OF LYING. I TOLD HIM, "DUDE, I'M NOT ACCUSING YOU OF ANYTHING. HOWEVER, I AM A MECHANIC. I DON'T WORK IN A TIRE SHOP, SO I DON'T DO REPAIR KITS (DIDN'T KNOW THEY EXISTED), BUT I CERTAINLY KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SENSOR AND A VALVE STEM. THE WHOLE REASON I BOUGHT THEM WAS BECAUSE I ASSUMED YOU GUYS WERE RUNNING A DEAL ON SENSORS. I DIDN'T NEED NEW VALVE STEMS." UP UNTIL THIS POINT, I WASN'T EVEN TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK. I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET HIM TO STOP LYING. HIS EMPLOYEE CASEY LIED WHEN HE TOLD ME HE HAD SCANNED ALL THE NEW SENSORS. THE SENSORS WERE ALL DEAD. THE STORE MANAGER LATER VERIFIED THIS WITH HIS SCANNER. I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY PAID FULL PRICE FOR THE SENSORS. IN NO WORLD DID I NEED NEW VALVE STEMS. WHEN HE FINALLY BECAME SO RUDE THAT I KNEW I WOULD GET NOWHERE, I ASKED WHO I COULD TALK TO. HE SAID, "ME. I'M THE STORE MANAGER." SO, I TOLD HIM THAT I HAVE A FRIEND WHO MANAGED 3 DIFFERENT TIRE DISCOUNTER STORES, AND THEREFORE KNEW HE HAD A BOSS. I TOLD HIM I WANTED TO SPEAK WITH HIS REGIONAL MANAGER. HE REFUSED BECAUSE HE SAID THE REGIONAL MANAGER WAS ON VACATION. HOWEVER, HE DID BEGIN TO BACK DOWN AT THAT POINT.
Part 3:I'M NOT ASKING FOR MY MONEY BACK. I'M NOT ASKING FOR FREE SENSORS. I AM ASKING TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, NOT ACCUSED OF LYING, NOT BE LIED TO MULTIPLE TIMES, AND NOT BE TREATED LIKE I WAS AN IDIOT FOR THE FACT THAT THEY PUT VALVE STEMS ON MY CAR WHEN I ASKED FOR SENSORS. I'M SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW. NOT FOR THE STUPID VALVE STEMS OR SENSORS. I'M ANGRY BECAUSE OF HOW BADLY I WAS TREATED AND THAT NO ONE WOULD GIVE ME THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AFTER I HAD JUST SPENT $1,100 IN THEIR STUPID STORE. NEVER, AS LONG AS I LIVE, WILL I EVER USE THAT LOCATION AGAIN. AND I MIGHT NOT EVEN USE TIRE DISCOUNTERS ANYMORE, EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT THE ROADSIDE PACKAGE.

Bought a full set of tires from Tire Discounters with roadhazard warranty. Got a flat 10/05/22. Put the donut on, drive to nearest TD store (***********, ********** **). Employee took my info and keys and I sat to wait. 30 minutes later, employee told me tire was unfixable and would have to be replaced. $80 charge to replace. I agreed. Employee stated they didn't have the right size tire there, but it was at another location nearby and they would send an employee to pick it up, but it could take two or three hours. Went home to wait. Five hours later TD calls and says they still don't have the new tire, don't know where it is, and wouldn't get it finished before closing. Their solution was for me to come get the car, but leave the wheel there and drive it on the donut until the next day when they would mount it and call me to come back to get it put on the car. I reluctantly agreed. I went back to the TD store. Upon arrival employee states the tire just showed up, if I could wait they would get it mounted up. I agreed. ****************************************** the parking area with the donut spare still on. It is about 30 minutes until closing. Inquired about progress, a different employee said they hadn't even started taking the old tire off the rim. At that point my car has been sitting there for over six hours. Told them to give me my keys and my wheel back and left. I wasn't charged the $80 because no work was done. But the entire day from noon until 7pm was wasted. Nothing was accomplished and I was without my only means of transportation for the entire day. Very frustrating at the waste of time as well as the $80 to replace something that I had already paid a warranty on. Tire had maybe ****** miles on it.Tire Discounters, Inc.

I made an online appointment at the store located at ***************************************** on 09/01/22 at 11:00AM, for what I understood to be a wait while the tire rotation was done. When I arrived and was asked if I was waiting or dropping off, I stated that I was waiting. The employee checking me in was immediately rude and responded by barking out to me No this is a drop off only and no guarantee for service until 7 pm I told him I scheduled a wait appointment. He again just barked no this is not this is a drop off only. There was no attempt to fit me in for a wait or any explanation on why they couldnt. Just rudeness. I believe the Store Manager ******************* was standing at the counter because when I called this shop after leaving, he took my call. He clearly did not see any issue with the way I was treated and stated that the online appointments are rarely wrong. He didnt apologize for any misunderstanding or error in the scheduling or for the way his employee treated me. He again was obviously fine with how I was treated at his store. I walked out and we will no longer be purchasing tires for our 3 vehicles from Tire Discounters.Tire Discounters, Inc.

*********, **** store.RE: Customer Experience- Training A recent interaction with your staff, ****, was very disappointing.I felt my business was not appreciated, and that I was interrupting him the moment I walked in the door. Not responding to questions asked (x3); no "thank you.", and no time expectation on when worked will be completed.Although I spent more than $700 with Tire Discounters, I felt unappreciated, ignored, and a burden of staff's time.Even though staff may be professionally trained to work on vehicles, I encourage Tire Discounters to train employees on proper customer service skills. The poor experience I had on my recent visit is not due to staff, but with lack of training provided by Tire Discounters. Thank you.Tire Discounters, Inc.

I went in to buy tires at the Tire Discounters located at ***************************************************************** and, they they claimed that the key for the lock on the wheels were not where I placed I placed it 5 minutes before. The female service writer rummaged around in my car but claimed she didn't find the key; it was missing, causing the shop to have to do extra work and charge me more money. I declined because of the dishonest business practice. My Wheel-lock key came up missing after the female service person accessed the area where it was placed. A Police Report was filed with *********************. There are plenty of reputable shops that sell new tires who don't have Police investigating their business practices.Tire Discounters, Inc.

We apologize that we did not meet your expectations! Tire Discounters has reviewed this issue and has been back in touch with you already. Restating: there would be no reason for us to take your wheel lock key as it's counter productive to do so. CPD advised when on site that there was no claim and agreed that "there is no reason a business that wants to sell tires would lose a sale by stealing a wheel lock key."
