      If I could leave a zero for the review I would. I had a loan with Cross Country back in 2019 & sold the home back in 2021. I have been trying every since to recover my overpayment checks with no success. They were initially sent to the address that I sold & I have been fighting with them every since. Each time I call I get a crap response & they revert the address back to the original address of the loan. The people are terrible & very rude as far a customer service representatives. I see now why they have 1.4 Rating & would never recommend this company to anyone!!

      A bait & switch company. They pull you in w/promises of home equity options. Then send you paperwork for a full refinance. Increasing your interest rates stating that your property doesn't meet eligibility for home equity, eventho they knew everything about the property up-front & tell you they have great options for you.

      This is the most incompetent company. They cost us an additional $4200 in rent and apt deposit. We were supposed to close 10/16 instead of 11/21. Our lease was up 10/16, which put us in another lease. Had to break the new lease which was $2100 deposit and pay rent for Nov which if we closed on time, we would not have had to pay. CCM approved us in Sept but continually asked for the same information sent to them multiple times. The mgr and processor didn’t communicate. In toll we are out $4200. I would like to be reimbursed. I saved the emails of the back and forth unnecessary requests. I feel they took advantage of seniors. But I'm also was trying not to think it is a minority issue as why we went through this. I'm still very angry.

      I think Javier ****** of Cross Country Mortgage is THE MAGIC MAN. He has been 100% awesome each and every time I have used him. I am a realtor and I have very high expectations of Javier. Its a matter of who gets the deal closed and he has NEVER let me down yet so I will stay loyal to him ALWAYS

      If I could give a zero I would. I was medically retired 100% disabled Veteran. I was entered in the lost mitigation due to taking a 50% pay cut once I was retired. They worked with me but anytime I call and had a question nobody could give me an answer. Since June I call weekly and get completely different answers or just attitudes. I’m told they never received my package. I get told dates they received it on. I get told its to old of an application now cause it’s dated back from June. Even though they said to send it to underwriting. I ask to speak with someone and they tell me we can’t transfer to anyone. I have to sit on hold. Since June I’ve been calling and get different answers. I am also waiting on a nice check to be sent to me which they are holding on to until my account is updated. Today I was told my account t is with another mortgage company now even though she told me it was not valid. I feel I’m being messed with for being a disabled veteran. I also will be filing. A complaint with the FTC for abusive, unfair and deceptive debt practices.

      Not the worst mortgage company, not the greatest. Anytime I've called they have been professional and prompt. My complaint is that some things that I prefer to have a physical document for record keeping (escrow shortage payments, etc.) are not available and all I have is online records and confirmation numbers.

      Cross Country Mortgage took advantage of my elder mother. Instead of allowing my mother to access the Equity she built up since buying her home in 2018, CCM steered her into a 25 year FHA loan as if my mother purchased the home for the 1st time !
      Cross Country Mortgage should be investigated for FRAUD, TILA violations, & conspiring to deprive homeowners of their Equity !

      Do not set up automatic withdrawal with this mortgage company trying to get a changed to bill in the mail is ridiculous. They will not help you and run you through hoops do not recommend this mortgage company at all.

      Had no problem with loan process, but later when a tax error arose effecting escrow shortage cross country did nothing to try and correct problem
      I got the tax problem corrected and then asked how and when I will recieve the now 3000.00 overage in escrow back. 6 calls in 1 day no answers.
      Not a matter of poor cust service...There is no cust service.
      Avoid Cross Country at all costs!
