Hunington bank after 5 years as good customer service after direct deposit and payday loan
They close the account and reporting me to ***** *******
Im contacting news paper and 6 on your side about service at hunington bank and the terable

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star if i didn’t have to select one. after 7 months of being out of work due to workers comp i finally received all of my back pay. no sooner does the check clear my account, they claim fraud and take those funds. after almost 2 months of attempting to dispute it (and they keep closing the disputes, so i have to file new ones weekly) i’m told i have to go into a branch to collect my funds because they closed the account. still receive a new card in the male but have no access whatsoever to said account because it was CLOSED. make an attempt to go to the branch to collect funds and they tell me i can’t collect it, it has to be mailed. so i continue to play the phone run around games. i’m told that all the disputes are done as of this morning and that i in fact can stop into a branch to collect the funds. told i couldn’t before when i previously tried because the disputes were open. go to the branch to be told nope, a check would be mailed and that it could take 90 days for them to send out said check. i’m back to work and can’t even get access to my first paycheck deposited into the account that’s closed. have no ways of living momentarily and all i seem to get is an lousy “sorry”. absolutely disgusting.The Huntington National Bank

I'm so fed up with this bank I'm going to switch as soon as I can. I keep having issues with my card getting flagged for somewhere I purchase from regularly and respond to the text right away that it's a valid transaction and they respond that I can continue using my card. Yet, my card gets locked and declines wherever I go. I call about it, which is a nightmare to begin with, and the rep I spoke with WAS NOT listening to me and said she was sending me a new card since mine wasn't working. I explained that this has happened before and they were able to help me on the phone and asked to speak with someone else. I explained I do not need new card and that this had to do with the fraud charge flag despite me confirming and that this has happened before. She was able up help me and I also asked her to please stop a new card being sent because I don't want to go through that headache, and she said she talked with that rep and was able to confirm a new card was not sent and if she found out anything different, she would call and let me know and took my phone number. Well guess what came in the mail today? A NEW CARD THAT I DON'T NEED and I will not be using. I know I can't just get rid of it and keep using my old card because that's what I had asked on the phone that day if I happened to get one in the mail if I could just cut it up and dispose of it and use my current card and she said that would only work for a little while. And unfortunately it's after business hours so I have to wait to sort this out. I am NOT HAPPY and feel lied to because I was assured this would not happen. I get that they're trying to protect me against fraud charges but it's literally a place I purchase from DAILY and will have this happen once in a while it decides to flag one randomly. But it is annoying that even when I confirm and am told I can keep using my card, that it gets declined the rest of the day when I go anywhere and the rep did not listen and just sent a new card. I hate that I had to even give a star to this bank. I have banked with Huntington Bank for over 15 years and honestly never had any issues with them. They seemed to be a normal bank, UNTIL they decide to force close your accounts and hold your money hostage. This has happened to me twice and I swore I would not deal with them the last time this occurred but due to having so many things in limbo with them it was just easier to keep the accounts active. I made two disputes from my ex that were not valid they decided to not award the disputes and then decided to force close my accounts on a Thursday. No problem,....went and opened another account with a new bank and decided to visit the branch to see if I could withdraw the 2000 dollars I had in my account. I also advised them I was getting paid on that Friday and wanted to see if they could force push back my check so my job could issue me a new check. The bank teller was nice and really tried to assist me, but after several phone calls to different dept I was told they couldn't remove the hold and that I would receive a check in the mail for the money that I had in the acct. They then told me that the deposit made they could see would be rejected and sent back to my jobs bank. Monday rolled around, reached out to my employer who stated they did not have the funds returned so they would not issue me a check. So I called Huntington only to be told that my check was sitting in a pending status????? Im like what you told me the accounts were closed? The rep tells me on the phone my accts are closed but that the check is just pending until the system recognizes that the acct are active. So let me get this straight as a single mother who need to feed her kids and pay her bills. You are making me wait for the money that is in my accts and the check that I should have received Friday you have not kicked back either so I have NO MONEY and the only thing you can offer me is an apology. 1 starThis company is not to be trusted they set you up in contracts that takes credit from youThis company denies without reason of laws..They discriminate without careThey set up bogus agreements that takes from youThere is no money GOLD /SILVER so they try to give us Monopoly money FRNS in place of our credit..When you bust them and report them they run and close down these accounts insurance at ********* and tell you to pay them for absolutely nothing but stealing ur creditThe US is bankrupt trying to make us responsible for their DEBTThey put false stuff on our credit report and COSPIRING with credit agencies to take from you Just beware of this bankThey scamming AMERICANS DAILY OUT OF CREDITS??Review fromBarry B

Please don’t use this bank for an auto loan in my experience they are not customer friendly and their phone call center is nothing but a waste of time!!! They do not have an option of paying your loan through mail. They prefer to be lazy and only use electronic payments for auto loans only!! No correspondence other than first statement-payment in the mail. As a customer it should be my option and their duty as a lender to provide customer service for said auto loans. Going forward I urge anyone to seek alternatives to this institution!!! Horrible customer service and support!!!The Huntington National Bank

Well, I am very disappointing in Huntington Bank here in Colorado in Aurora on sixth Avenue and chamber. I was told I can no longer be a member at Huntington Bank due -to -no reasoning no reason whatsoever, and I’m very hurt and disappointed and saddened by the customer service that I have gotten there throughout the year being a member, I have been a member at that location before it became Huntington Bank for 28 years. Never had a problem with TCF Bank before it changed Huntington Bank, can someone please talk to the manager her name is ***** ********* or something like that she is rude very disrespectful not nice at all ,and I believed her to be a racist ,and I am very disappointing beyond words . to tell a customer they can no longer be a member and not give me a reason is beyond me. I never experienced anything like this before and I don’t deserve to be treated like this at all.The Huntington National Bank

This review is about Huntington National Bank. Do NOT use them!! I bought a car 9 years ago and paid it off 3 years ago. I tried selling my vehicle ( I live in Louisville, KY) only to find my title has a lien on it from this company. I called to find out why they sent the title to me with a lien attached even though I paid off the loan. The supervisor I spoke with, *** (female) told me it is due to KY not requiring them to release their lien. I believe this is a malicious business practice and they should be required to release any lien once the loan is paid in full. She said they mailed the release paperwork, but they mailed it to an address I didn’t reside. I am currently attempting to get them to overnight the paperwork, which *** agreed to do, but is still delayed 1-6 business days. How can a business leave a lien on a loan that has been paid? There should be a penalty for these malicious actions.The Huntington National Bank

My identity was stolen, and so my first thought was to freeze all my accounts. This saved us at one branch which said they declined to give my funds to the thief. However the second branch gave the thief $1500. The thief then went to a third bank, where they declined the transaction, but then gave the thief back the drivers license she had stolen. The thief then went to a fourth location and was again able to withdraw $2300. Into my first 5 minutes talking to Huntington I told them to freeze all accounts and cancel all cards for the time being. If they would have simply listened to my request for what I wanted with my money, then nothing further could have happened. At each case the fraud department said that the notes would stop the thief and they didn’t. They then refer me to call each branch that they attempt to retrieve money out of. I’m fairly certain the smallest common sense 6 year old would have been smart enough to know that if a thief keeps making withdrawals that the account should be frozen until my funds are secure again, but the worthless security and managers at Huntington have stopped at nothing to show how truly incompetent a person can be at their job.The Huntington National Bank

[High fees. Terrible experience] Rep said i can transfer funds to other account using bill pay and it should take only 1 business day for fund to arrive. Sounds good? Yes, so I sent to my friend via bill pay. No fee. Transaction was confirmed. The next morning, I found out I couldn't log in my online banking (saying password/id incorrect. ***?). Had to call reps and found out my account was locked and the transaction was revoked. I DID NOT receive any communications! The rep requested me to go to branch, explaining the lock was due to the bill pay transaction and once it was resolved I would gain back access to online banking. So I went to branch, finished the transaction. Fee is ugly HIGH. No warning or consultation whatsoever. I just found out the fee when they asked for my signature to finish the transaction. Things got even worse when I came home and found out my online banking was still locked. Gave 3 calls to CSR, they even routed me in circle - rep picked up, transfered me to branch line, then transfered me to another rep. Problem was not resolved. I had had problems with the bank before but this was too much. In the end, I just moved all my funds out of Huntington. Could not trust them. Terrible experience. You should NEVER do business with them. Put your hard earned money somewhere else.The Huntington National Bank
