      I use the branch in ****** and they are nice but the branch on ******* street in Chicago where I have never been violated my checking account and issued a check to someone who already immediately cashed it so this is a multiple violation case and fraudulent action against me.***** *******

      So I have been having repeated problems with this bank. First off as a small business remodeling contractor it’s important when a customer pays me at the beginning of a project to RECEIVE those funds in a timely manner to be able to start their project. It’s also important when someone pays my through ACH or wire to get the money for work completed. They have been consecutively putting holds on EVERY LARGE CHECK, that has come in at the start of almost every project since I started the account with them. Every check I get is going to be different and they use the excuse of awards new bank account of the monies coming from. Of course it is all of my customers use different accounts, their own accounts. They have delayed work start times by weeks, and at this point I’m looking for a bother bank. It took 2 weeks for a simple transfer of funds to reach me with another customer and have put a week hold on a new check customer that paid me early so we can order the special order materials. There’s a chance the materials won’t be available now at the price specified because the sale is ending before the hold expires, and there was only so many in stock. So either way I’m gonna lose money. TERRIBLE BANK AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you call and talk to customer service they will say different things at different times and try to make any concerns or problems with them your fault they don’t try to help the blame you no matter even if the problem lies with them. I am looking for another bank to use for my business and personal needs.

      I've had a loan with them for the past 3 years. I've always made my payment on time, and have excellent credit. My January 2024 payment was due on the 25th. I always pay my bills through my bank account's Bill Pay. The check was mailed on 1/8/2024 from ****. It was never opened until 1/26/2024 by Open Mail Team #3. 19 days later! It wasn't posted to my account until 1/31/2024 and cleared my bank 2/1/2024. I called customer service on 2/6/2024 to question why it took so long to clear. Spoke with a gentleman named *****, who informed me that because Open Mail Team #3 didn't open the mail until 1/26/2024, I would be charged a $35 late fee as my payment was 1 day late. Mind you, my bank sent the check on 1/8/2024, 19 days earlier. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and was told that I couldn't but he would transfer me to someone else. Then spoke to ********* who was also zero help. Neither would allow me to speak to a supervisor. Today 2/9/2924 I received 2 late notice letters, both dated February 6th telling me that my payment was past due and informing me that they report late payments to credit bureaus. It takes their mail 2 days to get to me and my mail 19 days to get to them. I find that very interesting. Even more interesting that I have never been late on a payment and the payment that I sent was way over and above and covered the next 7 years of monthly payments, as I was paying the loan off. However, not important enough to speak to a supervisor. I will never take a loan out with Huntington National Bank again. That's not good customer service at all!

      Very unethical! The bankers and operation managers are incompetent. I was mislead, lied to ignored and many other things! Straight up discriminated against. My credit was ran 2 times without my consent! No one responds or returns your calls either. I have missed out of months of revenue due to the mishandling of a business loan and the operations manager called it a “hiccup” after they knew they were in the wrong they still kept giving me the run around and providing me with wrong information! I can’t believe the way I was mistreated! Everyone I’ve made contact with didn’t know what they were doing, didn’t know proper policies or procedures. They made up rules to benefit them. I’ve never had an experience like this. I do not recommend them to anyone.

      Received a certified letter this morning stating they are canceling my account and will not give me a reason. I have the most standard usage of a bank account there is. I feel insulted and degraded by doing this to me when I've done nothing wrong and they will not tell me why they did it. Souless institution!!

      Went to the local Huntington branch for a mortgage. It was the absolute WORST experience ever. It took 3 months because the loan officer had serious communication and listening issues and kept messing up the numbers. It was very simple, I was selling for X amount and my son had X amount cash to close. They wouldn't send the final disclosure to us to make sure errors were corrected, we didn't see it until the title co came and gave us one at closing. The loan officer shortened me $3000 from selling amount. He refused to answer my calls or emails. I then emailed the branch manager and SHE wouldn't even respond, I had to physically go to the bank. She said Huntington takes these things seriously, apparently not, I have yet to hear from the loan officers boss' to date. No one responds to calls/emails, no one cares. They highjack loans, do what they want with them with no consequences. And they KNEW I had to sign, I'm in the process of buying a house. Can't even get any response from managers. If they can do this to a loan, I can imagine what they're doing to our savings. Time to leave Huntington after 25 years.

      The banking department I personally haven't had any issues. Now the insurance department is a freaking nightmare. I would personally fire every manager in that department. FEMA changed the flood zones November 30 2023 letters went out 12-8-2024. Letter stated I had 45 days to get flood insurance but the letter said Huntington was gonna get flood insurance on my behalf. I called and asked for clarity of the letter and was told I would get a call back. The call never came but in the meantime I purchased flood insurance. Letter received 1-29-2024 dated 1-16-2024 states Huntington will cancel my lender placed flood insurance coverage on my property effective 12-6-2023. How can you cancel coverage before the original letter was sent out? How did Huntington place flood insurance on a property within the 45 day period when FEMA notified Huntington on 11-30-2023? I want a insurance manager or president to call me and explain!

      I had an auto payment for a loan set up on a specific date and Huntington took it out two days early with no holidays adjusting the office hours and I didn't have the money in my account till the day it was due! My loan started out with a payment booklet and four months in advance I told Huntington in person twice I need my next payment book and I never received it either. I suggest avoid Huntington!

      Worst bank EVER. I'm a former Financial Advisor who worked for ******** for 11 years. How regulators haven't shut this cesspool down is beyond me. They straight up lied to me about my HELOC interest rate. Failed to lock it in. Then tried to gaslight me into believing I asked for a rate lock. Their online system is laughable. You cannot make principle only payments online IN 2024. Their bankers and entire Home Equity Department needs overhauled. Go literally ANYWHWERE ELSE.

      I would give them 0 stars if I could. Been with them 2 months and been nothing but a headache. First issue I deposited over $700 to an ATM it kept my money and only deposited 300 and I had to file a dispute and wait 10 days to get a refund. This morning I went to the ATM to withdrawal 300 and the machine said sorry we are experiencing issues and can't dispense cash it didn't give me a receipt but yet deducted it from my account. Now I have to wait another 10 days to get this money back. Horrible horrible horrible bank I wish I would have stayed with ***
