      Never in my life have I dealt with a bank like this. Mobile deposited my payroll check two weeks ago. They put a FRAUD hold on my account. Is it so hard to call the bank that issued it and see if the check is clear?. Took my check and paystub to the bank a week ago. First they say they are closing my account for fraud . Then they are not closing my account. Even the teller was telling the fraud department that she has the check in front of her and clearly it isn't fraud.Now I have to pay a late fee for rent because they can't give me answers. Tried to speak to manager on the 800 number the first one said they are closing my account. The second one said they don't know if they are or not. This is ridiculous I have never dealt with this in my life. Clearly my payroll check isn't fraud. What really kills me and nobody cares and didn't even apologize. How would they feel if they didn't get th eir check they work for? I work two full time jobs to take care of my kids this is the worst ever.

      It looks like I'm not the only one to have a terrible experience with this bank. They fraudulently took $810 from me because of service charges on a business checking account that I had instructed them to close. They did not close the account. When I discovered the error, I addressed it immediately. After an over year-long battle with them, the final answer is that the fees will not be refunded. They are fortunate that I am unwilling to spend more money to hire a lawyer to recover my money. I'm sure that the court would rule in my favor. This is nothing short of theft.

      I will never do business with Huntington Bank ever again. I had a car loan through them. I got the car in 2017 on a 6 year loan. I never missed any payments, but during the outburst of Covid and everything shutting down I had to do a skip a payment. When I spoke to the lady about the skip a payment, I was told it would add another month to the rear of my loan and an extra 50$. Then when it comes down to my last 2 payments, they decide they want the 2 payments made in full, not allowing me to continue to pay the payments which no one ever told me would happen. I called and talked to someone and they basically called me a liar and said that no one would have told me that the payments would add to the rearrange of my loan. I begged them to pull the phone conversations since they are recorded and no one wanted to do that but they wanted to report me to the credit bureau the dame day I received a letter in the mail stating my account was past due. I was making the payments, how was my loan past due? It is ridiculous that these companies can lie and do what they want to ruin people's credit, especially when payments were being made. I did dispute it on my credit and hopefully it helps. DO NOT BANK WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY. Go to *** **** have had a wonderful experience with them. I hope the BBB does something to prevent this company from treating customers this way. O star rating

      Huntington Banks online weekend experience is like something out of 1970. ugh!
      Banking today is mostly done online.
      People do not want to wait till Monday to see what changes has taken place on there account.
      Huntington Bank should modernize there weekend online experience to there loyal customers or people will leave Huntington and look for a financial institution that is up-to-date.

      No loyalty to customer, horrible service, will freeze your money/close account without notice.
      I've been banking with them for over 4 years as a small business. Never had an issue with the account. Recently, had a client send us a check that bounced. Our acount was immediately closed and money frozen. No access to online. No warning, email, text, call, zero attempt was made to reach out to me. I only found out that our account had been closed because payments weren't going to my employees. People have bills.
      First, tried the 1-800 number and live chat only to be faced with robots and people who had no idea what was going on. First person said it was flagged for fraud and the account closed. And that they MAY give me a second chance. This wasn't a case of fraud. Accusing me of fraud and claiming they'd give me a second chance was just wrong. They later followed up and said that the check may still go through. Give it up to 5 days. The account still wasn't opened at that time.
      Called again to get our current funds out of the bank to pay people. They said this was impossible and that I had to go to a branch, but could still be rejected. Now, I'm taking more time out of my work day to go to the bank out of town.
      When I explained the situation, they laughed at the check in question and said it's totally fake. I asked them how to tell in the future to prevent our business account from being closed. We have bills to pay. They couldn't a give single example. I asked 3 times. Ultimately was told that it's my responsbility either way. Even if I can't tell and they can't tell me how to ensure a check is legit. I just have to risk my account being closed again in the future, if they give us a 2nd chance. If anything, I'm giving them a second chance. The bank is not on your side.
      In the end, check was returned. No fraud. Just a bounced check. It took a week and 4 attempts to resolve. Few weeks later they are now canceling and holding payments to my workers for no reason.

      I advise that you not bank with Huntington. This is the worse bank ever. From customer service, to fraud claims and even the president of Huntington is a scam artist. File a claim against them and have yet to receive the reason they charge overdraft fees for money that is clearly there. Closing my accounts and will never recommend this place to anyone!

      I have 2 checks on hold for 7 days for a business to business transfer. That means I have a business account with Huntington Bank and the check issuer has a Huntington Bank business account. Explain how that’s possible if the accounts have the funds?
      Consider other Banks for business purposes.

      This Branch on 87th & The *** **** is the most unprofessional Branch I have ever visited, I was recently there this past Friday Attempting to make a Cash Deposit in my 20yr old account w/cash I received for my Wreath Business and was nearly turned around because I didn’t have my ID this is the 2nd time in 6 months this BRANCH HAS LIED about it being the COMPANIES POLICY of having an ID to make CASH DEPOSITS…….the 1st attempt was only about $320 and they past Friday was only $800. I have made deposits in the ******* Branch and ****** ** **** * ***** and was never turned around for not having my ID, the young lady this past Friday didn’t even try to pull up my account using my ATM debit card or anything before turning me around and then when I sat down in the lobby to call Customer service after I had complained about this before and was assured by Customer service that I didn’t need an ID for cash deposits at Branches I was then approached by the Manager **** who claimed she was making an exception allowing me to then make the deposit to my account after I was embarrassed by other Customers like I was doing something criminal in the bank that also thought it was RIDICULOUS. As a 20yr Customer I was actually considering converting this account into my Business account but not after my experience here at this location and the lies, I can’t trust these folks w/my money if they’re creating their OWN POLICIES and I am seriously considering closing this account since I have Navy Federal anyway that would have NEVER…turned away my deposits.

      They froze and closed my account out without me knowing. I was able to open another one but that account is restricted and the card never came as of yet and still waiting on the card but I'm not able to get any money out from any branch location until the card comes. The card was supposed to be expedited but wasn't. This is a big inconvenience for me.

      I had a miss communication on my homeowners insurance between changing provider.was not told cut off date was midnight of the start of day and not end of day.One day lapse Huntington still charged me 5.99 .How can an insurance company write a policy for one day and issue it two months later.After long conversations with different customer representatives finally got an answer on dates.Very unprofessional services.
