The work environment I experienced at TCF Bank/Huntington National Bank was harmful and unhealthy. I feel as if my mental disabilities were ignored and accommodations to help me were not offered, or even considered. We are asked to disclose our disability status, and as soon as I chose to, I was treated differently by my superiors. These mental disability with my depression was exacerbated tenfold when I experienced sexual harassment, which was nearly every time I was in a group that included male colleagues. I was afraid to report anything because of retaliation or losing my job. This sort of harassment was over the span of almost 10 years. I was sexually harassed and assaulted multiple times during work sponsored events, but told by male superiors to not report anything. The blame was placed back on me, telling me not to make people think badly of me by reporting what happened. There was a huge presence of a "boys club" atmosphere with the company. The male employees were often taken on outings to go golfing, go to happy hour, or just have generally more flexibility and more respect than the female employees. This treatment caused multiple tenured (15 years +) female managers to seek employment elsewhere. It made us feel less important and as if our opinions didn't matter. With that kind of management, reporting any sort of harassment or discrimination was a scary idea. I was terrified of retaliation. I left the company feeling discriminated against for being female and for my disclosed disabilities, sexually harassed, and my pleas for assistance ignored. I had loyalty to the company and loved my job, so I stayed quiet to keep it. I no longer feel the need to stay quiet about the harassment and discrimination I faced during my time with TCF/Huntington. Please hold this business accountable for the way that the colleagues are treated and make sure that those with disabilities are taken care of and taken seriously. There are more of us out there than they realize. The Huntington National Bank

Do yourself a favor and stay FAR FAR AWAY from this bank. I purchased a vehicle and was provided financing through Huntington via the dealer. Never heard of them prior to this. Well, I didn't think there could be a bank worse than ***** Fargo and Huntington takes the cake. If there was a word I could use even more terrible than terrible that would be how I would describe their customer service. I was so fed up on the last phone call with them I pulled up the BBB rating and was not surprised to find out I'm not alone in my experience. I'm adding my 0 or SUB ZERO STAR REVIEW here to hopefully help other consumers avoid the mistake of banking with them. I can't imagine dealing with these people for greater, more critical transactions than an auto loan. In the future, I'll be doing my research prior to signing financing docs with a bank I haven't heard of. What an awful company. The Huntington National Bank

This is a terrible bank with apparently an awful reputation. The way they treated my family and my finances should be a CRIMINAL Offense...banks like this are why people need to pressure politicians for betterment. Don't give up, stand your ground...this is TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE...The Huntington National Bank

I had a savings account with TCF that carried over to Huntington during the merge. The account only required $200 and was started by my son with his birthday money maybe 8 years ago. With the merge Huntington started Charging the account monthly for insufficient funds, when I became aware I asked for a full reimbursement and a few days later closed the account over the phone with their customer service center. Only to find a month later I had not received a check for my account balance, the account was still open and they charged it another insufficient fund fee. I went through the process for reimbursement and account closure AGAIN. I was reassured the account was closed and that I would be receiving my money in the mail again. I just received a statement for my STILL open account with another fee.........HOW IS THIS ALLOWED TO BE A BANK?The Huntington National Bank

Terrible customer service from *************************. Rude and would not return email or phone calls regarding my issue with my car loan. Beware when securing any type of auto loan with Huntington. They hide various fees into the monthly payment with disclosing them to you upfront. I found out the hard way when I went to make my first payment and it didnt match the loan amortization table. Now they just ignore my emails and calls and make no effort to resolve the situation. Truely a despicable company. The Huntington National Bank

Business made no effort to even address my concerns. They simply cut and pasted the same form letter from before. Ignored my follow up questions and never closed my credit card like I asked them to. Their stance seems to be ignore the problem until it goes away.Review fromDeborah E

I have been with Huntington Bank now for about 5 years. I buy Cashier Checks in order to pay my rent. I put it in a lock box for my Realtor and they say they didn't get it , Huntington Bank said I had to wait ******************************************************************************************************************************* $31.00. All CSR/Tellers were inconsistent, the only thing that they all agreed on was that there should not have been a stop payment done on a Cashier Check. I asked for my $31.00 to be put back and they haven't done that . Now I think that I should be reimbursed now for my $650.00 since they have put a stop payment on my Cashier Check. I should not have to wait and give me back my $31.00 as well. Poor *****************The Huntington National Bank

I was scammed into a credit card that was supposed to be no interest for 12 months and then no higher than 16% interest after that and am now being charged 25% interest after a month and am told I was told the wrong info and it's for balance transfers only which is not what I was told. And they will not let me pay it off with a reputable credit card. Now I am expected to pay 25% interest. THIS BANK IS A SCAM! I HAVE DONE BANKING HERE FOR OVER 20 YEARS! THIS IS FRAUD!The Huntington National Bank

I miss my local TCF branch. In my life I have encountered 2 situations where my card info has been stolen for fraudulent purchases. Once while I was a TCF member, and now, more recently, as a Huntington member. TCF, as expected, resolved my dispute and mailed me a new card all within 5 days of the incident. While Huntington may promise the same speed, it has been a full 9 days since I made my report, and the only progress that has actually been made is closing the old card, and opening a new savings account, which was all done while I was still on the phone. Since then, no debit card arrived in the mail, dispute still not resolved, and any calls to check on progress are met with little to no answers or real assistance. It took them a full calendar week just to get the new card sent in the mail, and Im still not expected to receive it for another 5 additional days. That is 2 WEEKS of waiting for a new debit card. God only knows how long it will take to get my money back from the fraud investigation, given that theres no way I can trust the 3-5 day timeframe they love to give you, despite it having already been 2x that amount of time. These are not the only issues that I have had with Huntington since they purchased my TCF branch, although I chalked up the initial account errors (like merging family members savings accounts into mine and then fixing it by completely deleting my savings account) as just merger problems that wouldnt be indicative of the long term. It seems I was a little too optimistic. This bank is extremely frustrating to work with. I would recommend avoiding it, if you have the choice. The Huntington National Bank

If you can ever imagine yourself in a situation when you might need to call your bank, please consider running away as fast as possible from Huntington Bank and picking another one.Every time I try to contact them, without fail, wait times are 30 min - 1 hour. Pre covid, post covid, always. Have been with them for 10+ years. My issues are always simple and usually consist of them blocking me from accessing funds in my account (for example, picking up a prescription at the pharmacy that costs too much) and denial due to fraud. This inevitably results in about an hour total, if not more, of having to stay on the phone.Seriously, find another bank. I certainly will. The Huntington National Bank
