      I have had several instances where use of my debit card has been declined as the ** system flagged it as a fraudulent transaction. The purchase was for medication for a well known pharmacy. I received a text from the fraud department asking if I was really the person making the purchase and I confirmed it was me. Then I needed to provide details about the transaction, repeat back a security code they sent to me, provide my social security number, provide my pin and when they felt satisfied I was making the purchase they said they would release the hold on my card and I should be able to pay in about **************************************************************************** my account. So I called fraud prevention once again and was told that shouldnt be happening and I should try again in 30 minutes. Once again it was rejected and once again I called fraud prevention and was told the card hadnt been used enough at that location and it was triggering the ** system. So I went to the branch who talked to fraud prevention and he got the same run around. I was then told to try on another day. The medication was for a serious medical condition so I was unwilling to let it go. The pharmacy finally helped with a work around but it wasnt a clean work around. I have called repeatedly for an explanation and was told that the system cant be changed. I asked for one of the people in the executive office to call or write an explanation and was told bluntly that they dont do that. So Mr. ********* please take the time to make this right. I shouldnt have to call to get permission to use my account. Instruct your staff to once they have verified my purchase to make my card active again. I shouldnt have to contact the BBB in order for my concerns to be addressed. Your ** system is broken. I eagerly wait for your call or message. Thank you.

      They closed my account for no reason and still accepted my direct deposit. Ive been calling them for days trying to get my money and they keep telling me different things. Ive explained to them that I have to use that money to pay bills since that is my primary source of income right now. Theyre continuously giving me the run around and doesnt seem to be trying to advocate for me receiving my money. One person told me 30 business days!!???? Another person told me I have to wait on a letter to confirm my address which Im not sure why I have to confirm my address when my address is already on file. Theyre stealing money and giving out the worst possible customer service.

      I've been with Huntington for over 10yrs with no issues. On 1/09/2025, i get two notifications on my apple watch saying that I approved not 1 but two $500 apple cash transactions which i did not. I hurried up and locked my card and called customer service, and told them what happened. He then closed the card and says he will issue me another card, while speaking with him, i look and my email and i see whom ever made the 2 $500 transactions attempted 3 more transactions $400, $500, and $300 all were declined. After many calls, i finally receive a letter in the mail from Huntington stating after doing their investigation they determined it was approved. I called them on the phone from a customer service *** with no symphony skills BTW to tell me that they came up with this from a text message from 06/2023. How could i give authorization for a purchase from almost 2yrs ago when you can barely layaway a burger. If i approved a purchase how much was this purchase? why was it a even amount, why was it so many transactions?? no cents?? why are ya'll so stupid to think i would use apple cash with no receipts??. I then showed proof of my apple cash transaction history for the month and still you say i did it. How much more proof do you need to see to know i didn't do this?? This money is tied to my son's social security, every month is a different amount. I didn't even know i would have any money in there. Huntington are are just as much thieves as the scammers that took my son's money out my account. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

      They shut down my account of 6+ years with no explanation! No overdrafts. No NSF fees. No issues! They held my money hostage for 4 weeks, lying to me each time I called each week. "Go to the physical branch and they'll fix it, Why did they send you here we can't do nothing, We'll send you a letter in 3-5 days, We sent you a check on Tuesday, We just closed your account this Monday, and we sent you a check on THIS Tuesday (a week after the first one)." HORRIBLE COMPANY.

      Frightful customer service. I was an auto loan customer for 4 years and never missed a payment. 3 years after I paid off the loan I received a letter that Huntington owed me $250 from overpayments and that they were letting me know ONLY because they were required to by the state of ************. So theyve held onto my money for 3 years interest free. When attempting to contact customer service to receive my money I was hung up on after spending an hour being transferred from call center to call center with not one single employee knowing how to help. Mind you, Huntington sent ME the letter. Do better. Buyer beware.

      Their customer service is among the worst I've ever encountered. I've been banking with them since 2004, back when they were still ***. I live in a small Minnesota town near the Wisconsin border, so I frequently shop between states. Despite knowing this, they repeatedly locked my card and failed to send verification codes to my phone, even though my number is listed on my account. They also ignored the fact that I was calling from a recognized number.
      A few days ago, one representative was able to bypass this issue and temporarily unlock my card. However, the next day, the same problem occurred, and they refused to assist me. Today, it happened yet again, and this time, they permanently locked my card until I visit a physical branch to update my information—information they already have. I explained that I am disabled and cannot travel 120 miles just to verify details that are already on file, yet they still refused to help, claiming there was nothing they could do. This is false, as they have assisted me in the past.
      Once I receive my monthly payments, I am withdrawing all my money and closing my account. There is absolutely no justification for their refusal to assist me when they've done so before.

      Huntington offer a $400 bonus to open an acct online and have a direct deposit of $1000 for 90 days. I did not receive this bonus and was told it was for PERK members only which was not noted in the promotion. BEWARE of small or invisible print!

      If you run a business do not bank with them!! They cost me so much money the place holds on every deposit. I can not run my business efficiently thanks to them! Do not bank with them the reviews are right they are a horrible bank!

      I'm a Disabled Veteran on fixed income. I asked for a new Debit Card on Jan 5. It's now Jan 14. I have no food and haven't eaten in a couple of days because I still don't have my debit card like they promised I would have it in 3-5 days. I'm also out of my meds for the stroke I had because of this. They even lied to me about the date it was supposedly shipped on Jan 7 and I still don't have it on the 14th. Not to mention how just strait mean they were over the phone like I didn't matter. I'm switching banks and filing complaints with the **** and *********************************. Semper Fi
