I've had horrible experience with their credit card. I had a balance on it while going through a divorce. Paid it off after getting a balance and intended to use it while on a vacation. The cut the limit in half while I was out of the country. No notice. Supposedly because of my credit usage to credit limit... Which was true until I paid it off... Now I'm in ****** and they are declining transactions left and right. Including ****** purchases (trying to Christmas shop). Incredibly unreliable. Never ever count on them.

I've had 2 awful experiences. The first is when my name was on my mother's account from when she helped me open a bank account. I opened a second account in my name and forgot to take my name off my mother's. I lost my job and they allowed my credit card collectors to take out $830 from my account and when I couldn't pay it back immediately they took it from my mother's account and refused to give her the money back. The customer service representative gave me a false name and false information starting that if I took my name off of my mother's account they could give her the money back but they refused to do so. The second is that they shut my account down recently without and notice. I just started a new job that I put huntington down as my direct deposit information and had I not looked at my huntington app I wouldn't have even realized nor would I have been able to have my first check before the holidays. I will never use this bank again and I hope nobody else will either. It's a complete joke of a bank and the customer service is absolutely awful.The Huntington National Bank

I would not recommend Huntington Bank to anyone because thanks to Huntington Bank I have learned the saying, "Blame the Victim" I was the victim of a scam and they closed my three accounts and won't let me open up a new account and told me I would receive a letter in the mail explaining their reasoning. I even have emails proving I was a scam victim and they wouldn't pay any attention to them. This fiasco cost me money that I could have been at work but instead I had to deal with this because of needing to pay my rent so that I don't get an eviction notice.The Huntington National Bank

Huntington Bank in *********. MI wouldn't give me copies of my cousin's bank statements which I needed for her ******** application even though I have ************* of Attorney for her as she has Alzheimers. They've allowed me to get information on her account before so I couldn't believe they wouldn't honor the **** this time. I could be wrong but I don't think this is legal.The Huntington National Bank

Have there credit card very awful experience was in line at the store went to go use it and it would not work got into my car logged on there app and had seen they took basically 90 percent of my credit line away for no reason what so ever no warnings nothing called Huntington bank for credit cards and they said o you will be getting a letter in the mail explaining why we cant talk about it I dont think its good Buisness at all you should get a letter before they do anything letting you know whats going to happen you should not find out in line at a store and then no one can give you a answer why thats horrible business especially when u were never late or gave them problems and now it damaged my credit maxing the card out all around horrible business and there not professional at allThe Huntington National Bank

I would not recommend Huntington Bank to anyone. They have poor customer service. I have been taught that if you talk with the people that you owe, that they should work with you. ****** is one mean lady that has no compassion. Im very much aware that we still owe a debt, however, when I called to let them know why they havent received payment yet, I was told that basically we are not paying enough as it is. How do you pay more when you dont have enough in your account to even cover your other bills? I work in customer service everyday. You DONOT treat people the way that we have been treated. I paid off my car this year. refinanced with Huntington in 2021 to remove the cosigner.Huntington never submitted appropriate paper work to the **** so I never received a title upon payoff, nor when the car was refinanced. Currently, if I want the title, the cosigner also have to sign for it.After talking to about 10 customer service representatives, I finally got the answer that this was a bank error, but it shouldnt have taken them 4 years to find an error.Was finally told they would submit the paper work and send me the title themselves after months of being told they don't hold the titles and can't send them.The Huntington National Bank

Had a fraud charge on my account for $1800. Someone got into my account and took almost all my money, when I called Huntington and reported it they insured me that I would most likely get my money back and there was several other people who called that day and had the same unauthorized charge to there account from the same exact merchant. Got a letter from Huntington saying I authorized the charge so they wont do anything about it even though I did not. Complete joke of a bank they need to get shut down. I've been having my work checks direct deposit into this account for for a year and a half now. All of a sudden on Thanksgiving day a check that was deposited yesterday was removed as well as my stand by cash and I was unable to do anything from my account for no reason and wirh no warning. They ruined my whole muthafucking holiday. I'm going to go into the office to close this account for the second time but this time I will go through with it. They are very rude and racist in my opinion. Huntington doesn't stand behind their customers at all. Every dispute filed always works in favor of the other side. Maybe thats due to.them knowing I'm African American/Black. I wish I never did business with them and i wouldn't recommend anyone else to.They need to be shut down.The Huntington National Bank

The Bath ************************************* by the man in the back offices! Went there because I received a email from my cell phone provider that my bill is 2 months past due and they were going to shut my phone off - I have it on the online bill pay. Went Saturday morning to find out what the heck was going on and was told its a glitch??? Went today and was told that someone that being me changed/stopped it - why on earth why would I fix something that was not broke!! After all that he sent the payment via 2 day payment which was fine and then I asked to be reimbursed for the late charge and he said NO - mind you that this has Never Happened to me nor am I late with any of my payments PLUS I have my mortgage thru them as well as checking and savings!! To top it all off the late fee was only $7.00 - It's just the principal of the matter - I am a good customer and ********************** could pay that $7.00 fee I guess that they feel that they are not making enough $$$ money off of me!! Shame on you Huntington! The only reason they are getting 1 star is because there is no negative stars or 0!The Huntington National Bank
