Revco sent me a collections letter for a medical procedure bill that I had never seen prior to collections. I called Revco to inquire into the letter and captured the details regarding the bills. The sleep study doctor’s office did not bill my insurance properly. I have the insurance information to Revco to correct the bill and contacted the original billing office. Sept of 2021 I received another letter and I called back relayed the same info and was told they would resubmit. I received a letter in Dec 2021 and called and told they were still investigating. I did not hear back again until Feb of 2023. I am now being told I never called and that it is too late to resubmit to my insurance.

I paid *** in full, but they claim that Revco has a claim for a debt against me. It is not on my credit report, I have never been notified, and I have a 0 balance with ***. They are preventing me from getting my vital medications. I do not have any accounts in collections, and I monitor it very closely. I want them to contact *** to clear up the mess they have made.

I received a call on 2/3/23 asking for my husband. I advised that he was not available but I was his spouse and asked if I could assist with something. They then asked if I was the other parent of my child which I confirmed I am.

The agent then advised they were calling from Revco in an attempt to collect a debt. The agent advised that we owed over $400 and immediately tried to collect payment. I attempted to figure out who the original creditor was and she advised that $180 was for my son from ********** in 2018. I was able to confirm that he did see a provider on the date she advised. She advised that the remaining balance was for my husband from ********** ********.

I advised he has never been to this hospital and asked for her to mail a statement of some sort so I could attempt to verify the debt. She attempted to confirm the address on file and I realized she provided my parent's address, not mine and my husband's. I asked her if the last name she had on file was ****** or ****** as my husband and father have the same first name and she seemed very confused. I asked her if the birthdate on file was 7/19/87 (as this is my husbands birthdate) and she advised that it was 11/4/62.

I told her that this debt is my father's and I am not obligated to pay his medical bills. I think it was incredibly unprofessional that she attempted to collect on a debt without confirming any details about who she was collecting from or for. I made a payment for the debt she said was owed for my son, which I feel very unsure of now as I have been unable to confirm that debt with my son's doctors office.

Please accept this response to the complaint received from Mrs. ******** ****** on February 6, 2023  regarding Revco Solutions (“Revco”) account numbers ******** and ******** (“the Accounts”).  ********** placed the Accounts with ******* ******* ****** (“***”) for collections on September 7,  2018 for services provided to ******* *****. On April 27, 2022, *** and Revco merged, and Revco is  the surviving entity.

Mrs. ****** states in her complaint she spoke with a Revco agent on February 3, 2023 regarding the  Accounts for her son ******* ****** and during that call, she was informed of an account for her father.  Mrs. ****** further states she made a payment for the services provided to her son, but requests her  payment be canceled or refunded until she is able to verify the debt.

Upon receiving this complaint, Revco immediately ceased all collection activity on the Accounts, notified  *********t and conducted an investigation. Revco confirmed the Accounts are for services provided to  ******* ****** on March 9, 2018 in the amounts of $153.00 and $31.60 totaling $184.60. On February  3, 2023, Revco attempted to reach *** ****** concerning the past due balance on the Accounts. The  Revco agent spoke with Mrs. ****** who acknowledged ******* ****** was her son.

During the call,  the Revco agent inadvertently mentioned an associated account for a family member and immediately  disassociated that account from the Accounts of ******* ****** upon realizing her error. Mrs. ******  acknowledged that her son received the services and paid the full amount of $184.60 for the Accounts.  On February 13, 2023, Revco processed Mrs. ******** request to refund her payment in the amount of  $184.60 pending her further review. Revco Solutions will send a copy of validation to Mrs. ****** under  separate cover.

I received a letter in the mail from this company that stated I owed *** ********* $1,331.77. They stated that they are a collection agency and that I owed *** ********* money. I never received a bill from *** so I decided to call them. I told them the account number attached to the letter (see attached letter) and they informed me that they do not have my name on file.

A representative by the name of *** * from *** ********* stated that account number on Revco Solution Letter *******, belongs to a female and not me. *** then stated that I have no outstanding balances with *** and they do not even have my name on file. I called *** ********* multiple times in order to just confirm that I did not owe them any money. I am responding to complaint ID number ********.  I contacted *** ********* again for approximately the 10th time, in which they DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT FOR ME.  The account number on the attached *** ********* letter that Revco Solutions provided (see attached) belongs to a female party which *** ********* will not release the data. I further contacted ***** ****** in where I had a procedure completed and obtained a copy of the procedural account document.  The balance is zero as I paid all necessary payments that my insurance carrier did not cover, which totaled $244.00 dollars.   I further contacted *** ********* a few days again in February 2023, in which a 3-way call was completed between myself, Revco Soltuions and a representative from *** *********.  Revco solutions stated on the phone that they do not have an account for me as of that date.

To this current date, Revco Solutions never provided ANY VALIDATED documentation from *** ********* or *** *********** showing a breakdown of what I have owed.  The letter they generated (please see attached), the account number does not belong to me and an amount of over $1,000 dollars cannot be confirmed by my health insurance provider, ***** ****** ********** ****** *******, *** ********* or ** ************  I contacted Revco Solutions and a rep told me that they would send the breakdown of information on how they obtained this outstanding balance. This information was never received after I sent them certified letters.

Revco Solutions NEVER provided any documentation from any parties involved dictating a precise breakdown of any money owed. The documentation they provided (see attached) is an account that is associated with an unknown female party.  Mr. ********* fails to acknowledge the inconsistencies such as the wrong account number, not providing the documentation that I was told I would receive, any contracts between myself and *** ***********, bills from ***** ******* *** ********* cannot validate any debt from my person.  Simply put, Revco Solutions cannot validate any claims they stated and the account(s) provided are not even attached to my name. This is very concerning as a Revco Solutions attempted to obtain funds from my person that cannot be validated by any agencies.

Again during the RECORDED conversation with Revco Solutions (According to the agent that the call was being recorded), the Revco agent stated she would send me the original paperwork received from  *** ********* in regards to non-payment, delinquent payment etc. This is the entire reason that Revco Solutions contacted me because they were notified out of the outstanding debt as stated in the letter. "We are trying to collect a debt that you owe to *** *********". This letter was never received, because I believe it is a lie, but again cannot provide proof, but Revco Solutions did not either. So you are trying to obtain the sum of $1,331.77 with absolutely ZERO proff.

An account number of *******, does not exist for me, as this account number belongs to a female according to *** *********. A three way call was conducted with myself, *** ********* and a representative from Revco Soltuions a few weeks ago.  *** ********* again stated that they do not have anything for my name or the account number provided by Revco Soltuions on file.

I wrote a certified letter to Revco Solutions with **** tracking to ensure delivery before Jan 25th, 2023.  "We must stop collection on  any amount you dispute until we send you information that shows you owe debt".  The FDCPA requires that you provide validation of the debt as I specifically asked for it numerous times. No validation as to this date has been provided except a false account number, no validation of that amount by *** ********* or a copy of communications between Revco Solutions and *** *********. A total sum of $1,331.77 was documented by Revco Solutions with any validity as *** ********* also again stated an account number of ******* does NOT EXIST for myself and my name is not in there system in regards to any debt known. Again please provide documentation between original communication of the first notice that *** ********* contacted Revco Solutions informing them that a I ******* *. ******** had a debt with there company. Till this date Revco Solutions has failed to provide this documentation and further action should be taken.

I receive a payment notice from a company called CARECENTRIX claiming I ordered a device and that payment in the amount of $291.34 and insurance paid all except $29.13. When I called CARECENTRIX to inquire and get more information it was an automated response where you eventuality get disconnected. I do not have nor have I ever had a medical device so ignored as I thought it was bogus. Then I received a collection letter from Revco Solutions asking for the same $29.13. When I called to inquire they are not able to provide any additional information besides what is listed on the letter. Again - bogus as I do not have nor have I ever had a medical device.

I received a bill in fact a late notice for a bill for a product which I never ordered or received from a company that I had never heard of that is fifth and glam. I contacted Revco they supposedly generated a incident report this is about two months ago and today on January 17 I received a notice that says that I still owe the $153.60 that was charged which is a $95 charge and then numerous monthly late fees that were attached despite my contention that I never ordered anything from this company.

Fifth and glam is a company that apparently allows you to order things and then pay later. I believe that this is a scam where they’re trying to collect money for products that were never delivered.

I intend to file a police report and I also intend to have my attorney write a letter to the company to cease-and-desist.

Again I don’t use cosmetics or whatever it is that they sell I would never order from that company online I did not order from that company online I received no goods in exchange for this $153.60 charge

I am going to send a cashiers check from my bank because I don’t want my credit negatively impacted but I am also intending to make sure that my attorney contacts them To avoid any further harassment

*** ********* states that she received a bill for a product she did not order or receive, and she has never  heard of the company. *** ********* believes this is a scam, intends to file a police report and have her  attorney send a cease and desist notice to the company. *** ********* further states she is concerned about  how this might impact her credit.

I received a phone call from a woman stating the call was being recorded and then went on to tell me I owed McLaren Hospital $800 and that I needed to pay the debt. I ask for them to mail me the hospital bills because I knew I had not been hospitalized since before the COVID pandemic, and it was not at a McLaren hospital. The woman then asked to verify my address, said the bill would be mailed out and the call ended.

Today, I received some form of notice/statement/bill which only provides their in-house account information, NOT the hospital bill I requested. The below information is from this communication.

      Revco Solutions Reference #: ***********

      First line item
      Creditor Name: McLaren Hospital
      Creditor Account: *********62387
      Service Date: 05/17/2022
      Balance: $41.19

      Second line item
      Creditor Name: McLaren Hospital
      Creditor Account: **************
      Service Date: 05/25/2022
      Balance: $766.42

The communication goes on to say they are authorized to offer me a 25% discount leaving a balance owed in the amount of $605.71 if I pay that reduced amount in full using the coupon below.

I have full medical insurance. If this is a legitimate claim, you would think the hospital would have billed them, not sold the account to a debt agency. Yet, this is the first time I am hearing about this so-called hospital bill.

I am requesting Revco provide authentic documentation from the hospital, itemizing what the charges are claimed to be for, when services were rendered and all documents showing my signature stating I was accepting legal responsibility for these fees/charges. They are permitted to communicate with me via USPS only. I request they remove my phone number from their call list(s) and refrain from calling me again.

I had applied for a job which included a credit background check, it was brought to my attention that i had an
outstanding balance of $3100 plus with Revco Solutions **** utility co in Milford, CT. I called  ** and they explained that my account was in collections and i would have to contact Revco and settle the account with them. They gave me the phone and account number (###-###-####, #**************). I contacted them to dispute the amount of the bill, let me be clear i do owe a substantial amount. My dispute of the charge that i was getting assistance with my light and gas every year (I was on section 8) and my income would not allow me to afford to
rent and pay utilities without assistance, when covid had hit, the agencies that would provide assistance were not taking applications and were doing remote, and for whatever other reasons, i didn't get a call back from the agency (**** ** *********** *** I even reached out to them recently on the advice of Revco, and still no response back yet (i contacted both Revco and **** about four weeks ago). The customer service rep at Revco kept telling me i cannot dispute the charge, my reason wasn't valid enough. I told her i wanted to dispute it anyway, She said she would put in dispute and ** would contact me within 5-10 days. It's been a month and haven't heard anything. I doubt if my dispute was put in. She was so adamant about me wasting my time putting in a dispute, that it wouldn't do any good, and that I would be wasting my time. Besides her negative attitude, i would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

They haven't looked into the account previously which i was given assistance with utilities, i am a disabled veteran on section 8, who was getting assistance every year until covid, i reached out to the agency that Revco Solutions gave to me to see if they could help with my situation, and as usual no response, they haven't worked in office, only remotely, and i did not get a call back once i left voicemail message. I wouldn't have got a response if not for the BBB. Also, no longer reside in CT. Moved twice since leaving the previous address, now live in Maine, so any outstanding bills were not forwarded to my addresses. I would like this removed from my credit report until we can come to a mutual resolution please.

      Regards,
