1 starWe ordered chairs online that we were supposed to pick up on a certain date from the store. The chairs are not going to be available for pick up 2 months from now! They keep lying about the number of chairs saying they had 4 chairs for pickup now they’re only said 2 chairs. They keep selling our chairs to someone else. Worst company ever. I originally purchased a dresser and end table for my living room on 8/10 and was told that the dresser would be ready for pickup on 8/22 and the end table would be ready for pickup on 10/17. THE DAY BEFORE the dresser was supposed to be ready for pickup, I got a call that it was going to be postponed for a week, on 8/29. The next week, 8/28, I came into the store to speak with them, as they called and told me that the end table that was supposed to be ready for pickup on 10/17 was now PUSHED BACK TO 12/5! ONLY BECAUSE I CAME INTO THE STORE did I find out my dresser, which was already pushed back a week from 8/22 to 8/29 and I was supposed to be picking up tomorrow, was now pushed back AGAIN a WHOLE MONTH to 9/26! At this point, I just wanted to cancel my order altogether, but stupidly, I didn't. I ended up needing to get a different end table and reordered the dresser, but without the mirror. They took off a whopping $36 for "customer satisfaction". My new expected pick up date for both are 10/3. I should've already known, they push my date back, YET AGAIN. I got a voicemail 9/28, stating that one piece would be ready for pickup on time, but the other would be delayed to 10/10. I called 9/29 and I was told that the person who left that message was wrong and BOTH pieces were delayed a week. I'm fed up right now. Honestly, I wish I would've cut my losses that first time and gone somewhere else, but yet here I am. I was told that they could have my furniture on time (10/3) at a different location, which is an hour drive from my house. I opted for that option because I've needed my furniture since AUGUST, when I ordered it all and it was promised to be ready by. Having to be postponed by 2 months is absolutely unacceptable. I was told that EVEN WITH ALL OF THESE DELAYS on their part, they were not willing to offer any discounts or credits for all of the inconveniences on me. I let them know just how wrong that is and that I would never do business with them again.American Signature Inc.

I purchased a white leather sectional for my living room and had issues with the electronics on the recliner braking and needed service from Value City Furniture. They had me file a claim with their service company *******************. I contacted them and they refused to fix the leather sectional. No only did they refuse my claims, but they refused to allow me to speak with a manager. Additionally, the female representative was mean and nasty on the phone and basically told me to go jump in the lake, while she was yelling and screaming at me! I ironically had another family member how had nothing but a negative experience with Value City Furniture as well. At this point, the attitude of both Value City Furniture and their warranty company ******************* - is that everything is YOU/ME the customer's fault and they refuse to give me warranty service even though it is with the 5 year warranty time frame. Now, I must find a 3rd ************* to fix my furniture. The bottom line to I will NEVER do business with Value City Furniture ever again, because they don't value my business and have horrible customer service. This is actually a disgrace, and I don't even see how they are still in business. However, I do see why they have a 1.24/5 Star rating and 941 complaints +1 in the last 3 years!American Signature Inc.

American Signature Furniture exhibited rudeness after declining to take responsibility for my brand new door they broke while delivering broken furniture. They further stated they WILL come in my home and with a threat.I warn you about this company. Please read reviews prior to choosing. 1 starI am writing to formally express my complete and utter dissatisfaction with Value City Furniture regarding the Pure Promise Protection Plan that I purchased with my couch. Despite being assured that this plan would cover issues such as flaking and seam separation, which have developed on my couch within just three years, my claim has been unjustly denied. I was informed that my issue falls outside the plan's coverage window, leaving me responsible for the repairs. This experience has been extremely frustrating and has led me to conclude that the Pure Promise Protection Plan is misleading and ineffective. Corporate representatives have indicated that there is no recourse available, which has only intensified my frustration. Given this situation, I strongly advise others to consider alternative furniture retailers. Not trustworthy! I purchased a bed and they failed to deliver the brace for the bed and 7 months later haven't made good on the purchased item, no refund, no solution at all.Stay far away from this company!!!American Signature Inc.

I bought (for over $3,000!!!)what I thought was a nice bedroom set (Only a dresser, 2 nightstands and a bed frame)at American Signature Furniture. After delivery, I pulled open a drawer to start loading my clothes, AND THE DRAWER ONLY OPENED 2/3 OF THE WAY!!! I sent a message on ****************************** last night and the reply was that this is NORMAL! They apparently sell top quality furniture but I guess it would be too expensive to use full extension drawer slides so the drawers come completely out. They also told me that to return them would be a 15% restocking fee (over $450). I haven't even used them and they can be resold as is.The nightstands have USB charging ports on them and one doesn't work. So much for testing at ASF.Get your furniture at American Signature Furniture if you want to get taken advantage of and spend a ton of money on c*** that you'll be stuck with.American Signature Inc.

The Salesmen sold us the warrantee on our Table and told us that we could just have it replaced before the warrantee expired if there was any wear and tear that had happend that they could fix. They are now telling us years later that that is not the case and that they wont even come out to look at fixing the wear and tear. The store then tells us that we should have read the fine print. When they delivered the furniture 4 years ago, we had 3 table delivered before we got one with only a minor defect in the product. There were huge dents, paint issues, or chips in the rest. When we got the one we have now it only had a small scratch and they had someone come out and fix it. The manager at that point expressed again that when the wear gets too bad or anything goes wrong with the table they would replace it. We were also told that if we didn't use the warrantee before the expiration that we would get that money back. The store says that it is only in store credit. This is apparently an issue since there are many ****** reviews stating that others have had the same warrantee issue with them not being honest.We spent extra on the table, purchase cloth covered seats, and spent even more on the warrantee because of this. We will never purchase anything through them again and the warrantee money is now lost because the company seems to have a policy on lying to customers about there warrantee.American Signature Inc.

Value City, as a whole, is pathetic! I placed an order in the evening, and after I placed the order, I was taking some measures for a TV stand I had ordered. I realized that it wasn't going to work out. So, I signed into my wife's account to which the order had been placed. I looked all over to cancel the order. Nowhere has led to a cancellation site. So I called ***** and received a recording saying that the customer service was closed for the evening. So the following day, I tried calling the store, but they opened at 10 a.m., So at about 10:03 a.m. I called and spoke with a customer service *** after hitting a few options. I told who I was, where I lived, and what I had ordered. Within 10 minutes, I was told that the order had been canceled and that the account would show the cancellation within 2-3 business days. About a week later, my dog starts barking, so I look out front. A *** EX truck was leaving my house. I go out, and there is a box listed for me by Value City Furniture. I checked my account, and NO, my account did not show the cancellation. After I called about this, I was told I could return it to a store or have it picked up at my EXPENSE! BS, I will NEVER stop in this piece of s*** store or the website again!American Signature Inc.
