Been to a lot of furniture stores and dealt with hundreds of salespeople and David T***** of American Signature is the BEST we have ever met!! David was very patient, and helped us by configuring dozens of packages so we ended up with a really good deal. David made us feel welcome and the store itself (on ******** **** in Jacksonville), is HUGE with a great selection of furniture. All-in-all, a very good experience!American Signature Inc.

I ordered a new Sectional with recliner in April 2023. One recliner’s motor broke in November. December 1st they came out to fix it and had to order a new motor. It is now February 7th and the business said the part was still in order. I am moving and am unable to sell a couch that is broken. I called Value City Furniture in Monroeville PA and they were very unhelpful, stating it was not their problem. A terrible company.American Signature Inc.

They sell cheap crappy furniture. Then they sell you an extended warranty. Then when your crappy furniture falls apart and you file a warranty claim, it gets denied.American Signature Inc.

The bedroom furniture is not as displayed. The mattress is several inches too small for the bed. I had to arrange to be home 3 different times for delivery. (They brought the wrong items) delivery cut me mattress and it wasn't replaced. They also damaged my window blind. There's huge gaps around all 4 sides. The store gave me a small amount of credit, but didn't offer to replace incorrect or damaged items. Rude. Difficult to reach management (several weeks on vacation) writing a review isn't making me feel any better about the horrible service I over paid for. I didn't even get what I ordered! And they damaged it! And damaged my property!American Signature Inc.

I have been a loyal customer of Value City Furniture for the past 12 years, but my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. When I decided to upgrade my living room with a new 2pc Reese living room set. The trouble began when my sofa was stained, and Warranty Service offered to give me store credit for my sofa only. After discovering that the 2pc Reese living room had been discontinued. I proceeded to reach back out to the store and Warranty Service, trusting the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction, and given my years of loyalty. When an issue arose with my sofa and I needed to utilize my warranty, I was astounded to find that the only resolution offered was a store credit for the sofa. This left me in a perplexing situation, as it was impractical to have mismatched furniture in my living room. When I raised my concerns with one of the store managers, their proposed solution was shocking. The manager suggested that I intentionally damage my loveseat so that both pieces could be replaced under the warranty. This unethical and deceitful suggestion left me appalled. Why should a customer have to resort to dishonesty to receive fair compensation for a defective /discontinued product? It was a clear indication that Value City Furniture was willing to compromise its integrity and reputation. This experience has not only soured my opinion of Value City Furniture but also led me to make a firm decision never to purchase from them again. I would strongly advise others to reconsider their choices as well. The lack of empathy, the dismissal of customer concerns, and the suggestion to engage in dishonest practices are all indicative of a company that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. My 12-year loyalty to Value City Furniture has ended due to their handling of this situation. I am left with a sense of betrayal and frustration, and I hope that others can learn from my unfortunate experience before making any purchases from here.American Signature Inc.

I spent $6k on living rm furniture that is junk. I called them they sent out an inspector he stated it was defected and needed to be replaced. 2 months later it was replaced with a living rm set that was even worse. They inspected it and said it was defected. It was never replaced . Why are they allowed to do this???? They treated me so bad at corporate level passed me to everyone with no resolution. They got my money and now it have to deal with paying on furniture that I’m ashamed to have in my house!!!!!!!!!! Please helpAmerican Signature Inc.

Value City Furniture/ American Signature Furniture is selling merchandise they do not have!! On 1/13/24 my husband and I went to a VCF in Sterling Hts. MI we purchased 2 of the Big Softy Duel Powered Recliner and the Marlie Navy Sofa. We left with the understanding from our salesperson Jade and the Customer Service Rep. Tony that our chairs would be delivered to our home 1/31/24 and our Sofa which is considered a “New Arrival” on 3/1/2024. We got a call on Monday 1/22/24 from VCF stating that they didn't have the Recliners in the warehouse, and they would be delivered on 2/2,2024. This evening in the same week, we got yet another call from the store stating that they were pushing the delivery date back yet again because they don’t have the Recliners and it would probably be the beginning of March! VCF is now selling these Recliners in a “Door Buster Sale” Knowing full well that they Do Not Have Them!!!! I do not fault anyone at store level because they have no control over inventory! I am now wondering have VCF sold us a sofa they do not have also? Do we want our money back or other merchandise? No!!!! We want what we’ve purchased!!! At on the day promised!! We have nothing but a bed in our home!!! I’m sure we’re not the only ones. Consumers need to know to beware of VCF/American Signature Furniture. Bad Business!!American Signature Inc.

This company is terrible. The location in the Smyrna Georgia area **** ********** **** ****** ******* ***** has been holding my refund check for a month and a half and I have called several times to verify that I have a NEW address since the time of applying for the price lock. They were given my id in which I believe they stole my identity from because my id matches with my NEW ADDRESS. Spoke with the manager for almost the 10th time and she stated that this is the first time hearing about the new address. I am already furious that you guys are TAKING MY MONEY IN THIS ECONOMY AND NOT EVEN RECEIVING MY PRODUCT EITHER. I will be pressing charges and calling a lawyer on this problem. Called customer service and customer service tried calling them and they did not answer since they already know that corporate number. BEEARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEYAmerican Signature Inc.

Value city orland park, will not honor any warranty. Original purchase was 8/21, sectional was delivered (broken) 2 month's later. After 3 attempted repairs was offered to purchase "better" quality sectional at 20% discount 3/22. $1500 later and 7/7/22, "better" sectional and end table,coffee table delivered. Called store because it wasn't attached correctly and damage to my door. Told to call delivery company, no help there. 7/2/23 "better" sectional broke told to wait and make a claim, sectional isn't available anymore because they jad issue's with the frame cushions. 3 claims and 2 techs later, claims denied. They were in and out within 5 min. Warranty has no record of coffee table which is also broken. I have made countless calls, so many, that one of the store managers (matt), quit/got fired, and now is store manager again and remembered me. I was rudely told spend more money on a "better" sectional at a discount price. I stated, I allready did that. I'm not spending another penny with a company that treats people like this. He got loud I got loud.. he hung up. Corporate will tell you to call the store that won't help you. Pure promise will not cover anything. I have contacted other stores for help, same vague answers. Nice as pie to take your money, then a big ole 1 finger salute. Value city has been the only place I have ever chose to furnish my life. They have lost another lifelong customer, and every.. single... person.. I will ever have the opportunity to conversate with.American Signature Inc.

We purchased a sectional from VCF in the beginning of 2023. We spent $5000 with a $500 dollar extended warranty and we were told it would cover absolutely anything that could happen to the couch. When part of the sectional collapsed after 4 months of purchase, VCF blamed one of our children jumping on (which is completely false) instead of the thin piece of wood inside holding that whole section together. Honestly, the way this couch was built, it could have collapsed from someone just sitting on it. VCF told us it did not fall under manufacturer warranty.
We filed a claim with the extended warranty and they denied our claim citing the same thing VCF did. We appealed and never heard back. My husband decided to fix the broken piece himself. He also decided to reinforce the other big piece of the sectional because it probably had the same piece of garbage plywood holding it together. Well, when he pulled the backing off, it was broke too..We have multiple pictures showing split wood, staples that missed where they were supposed to go, cracked wood with knots in it, what looks like two pieces of scrap wood for a block..Just a shoddy piece of furniture.
VCF customer service and management was unprofessional, rude and dishonest. They sold us a useless extended warranty. Furthermore, the pictures we sent them show that this should fall under manufacture warranty and VCF is liable.American Signature Inc.
