      The customer service from the location (W* ******** *** ******** ***) is horrible and insulting.
      On 12/19/23, I purchased over $5,600.00 worth of furniture for my home. A bedroom set for my autistic son and a dining room set. I was given a delivery date of 12/30/23, because all items I purchased were in stock. On 12/27/23, I got a call to confirm the delivery date, I was told at that time, the 30th was still a good date, but the bed frame was not available, and it would be delivered on January 30, 2024. This was not a good date for me as I had removed the old furniture in anticipation of the arrival of my new furniture. I asked to speak to that store manager Anamarie R*******, who spoke with me and gave me a delivery date of January 12th, 2024.This date was still too far out. She called back the next day hoping to resolve this issue but was waiting for the warehouse. She assured me she would get involved and resolve the issue and stated she would call me the next day to make sure everything was on the truck for the delivery on 12/30. We spoke up until 12/29. The bed frame date updated to 1/6/24 and my desire not to be a problem, I agreed. Just so happen that I was in the area on 12/29/23 at 5pm, I decided to stop in the store to double check on my delivery since I did not hear back from Ms.R*******, to my surprise, I was informed that not only was the bed frame not being delivered, neither was the dresser, the chest, the whole bedroom set at this point after 40 minutes into the conversation. Needless to say, at this point, I was very disturbed and wanted to understand why I was not contacted or told that only the mattress would be delivered from my bedroom set. To add insult to injury, Ms.R******* called the police on me and my mother who was with me because she was called out in her lies and was embarrassed in front the staff there. Stated we can lend a loaner bed. She then takes my personal information and gives it to a friend of hers.She needs to be reprimanded.

      Awful customer service. They look for ways to deny any claim covered under their warranty package they sell. The entire company appears to be a scam that looks to intentionally work against customers.

      They lied about being in stock, and then will not put charge back on card. This is the worst store I have ever been to. The one on Preston Highway.

      I purchased a bedroom set from ASF on 08/16/2023. The scheduled delivery date for my order was supposed to be on 10/25.A few days before my scheduled delivery, I received so many calls from the designated store in Kennesaw, GA with so much conflicting information regarding the new suggested delivery date . It is obvious that ASF messed up my whole order and plans. The store manager of Kennesaw could not give me any confirmed delivery date and offered to do two separate deliveries to alleviate the inconvenience that the order delay caused to me .On 11/29/2023, they were able to deliver part of the bedroom set (The bed and chest only) and they scheduled the remaining items (nightstand, mirror, dresser) to be delivered on 12/16 and 12/20. As always and whenever the delivery date approached, I received another call to tell that it was pushed to 01/03/2024 and 01/06/2024. I contacted the customer service and asked them to combine the remaining items in one delivery and I won't accept partial delivery and I need all remaining items. Otherwise, I would ask for a refund. 01/06 was scheduled to bring all remaining items. On 01/05/2024, I received a confirmation email and SMS with a list of all remaining items included in the upcoming delivery on 01/06/2024. I was happy at first but that was a big big lie. A few minutes later, I received a call from their agent to tell me for the million time that the nightstand would not be available till Feb 14th !! I never though of a bad buying experience like this in my life. Imagine that you buy a bedroom set and after full SIX months, you still can't receive it !! NEVER deal with ASF again ! Lesson learned

      Value City Furniture has refused to honor the insurance policy we purchased for our sectional couch. I purchased this item back in June 2019. February 2022, I put in a claim regarding the damage to the frame of a particular seat of the sectional. A technician came out to view the couch and because he could not remove the stitches of the couch to view the problem, he said that there should be no issues with getting a replacement since this couch was no longer in store. However, a few days later it was denied and it was stated the our issue was not covered under warranty. They asked for more pictures and we sent different angles showing where the issue was. The insurance company kept saying they need more information and there was nothing I could do without ripping the couch cushion apart to show the actual damage. I went in person to value city furniture where the couch was purchased originally back on June of 2019 and the manager Matt said he would handle it for me since this is not the first item I have purchased from the company. I followed up on May 25,2022 and still no response from the general manager. I followed up again, last week recently and I still have not heard from any employee from the store regarding this matter. Now I have another issue with a queen sized bed I purchased in January of 2022. I also purchased a warranty for this as well. Recently I experienced the beds frame completely breaking just from sitting and the company has yet again denied another claim 12/30/2023. Once upon a time I was a proud customer of Value City until I’ve seen that they do not honor their warranties. Do not do business with this company. I am looking into professional help with getting my money back as I have spent quite a bit on furniture that didn’t last and warranties they do not follow or uphold.

      OMG!!! I should have come here before purchasing furniture from this company!!! it has been a freaking nightmare!!! I purchased my recliner on 11/25/2023 and was told that it would be delivered the following Saturday 12/2/2023. I received a call 3 days before the delivery date to let me know that it was pushed to 12/26 because the right side of the recliner was on not in stock. I was extremely upset because I had gotten rid of my old furniture and was now going to spend xmas without furniture. I received a call a week before the delivery date and was told that it was now going to be delivered on 1/17/24. I LOST MY ****! I was NOT going to wait another month especially after having already made the first payment, so the manager pushed the delivery back to 12/27 and promised I will have it by than. Well guess what?! I got another call a few days later saying that the delivery date was pushed to 1/3/2024. I was beyond upset at this at this point but I'm also exhausted, so I was like fine, I'll wait until the 3rd. All other calls after this was just to confirm delivery. Woke up super excited ready to receive my new furniture this morning and guess what; I only received the side that was on backorder. The other side of the recliner which was not on backorder did not arrive. Called the store, extremely irate of course, I mean, I am entitled to be extremely upset at this point. I spoke with the manager Maria and she didn't understand why this happened and she apologized. She promised to have it delivered by Friday the 5th and now I'm being told that it won't be delivered until Saturday the 6th. God knows when the heck I'm going to see the other side of this recliner. I recommend you stay away from this store. Wish I could give them a -5 rating but unfortunately the lowest I can give is a 1.

      I ordered a couch online almost a year ago now. I received half of the couch and still to this day I haven’t received the rest of it yet. I asked for them to come pick up the couch for a refund because I don’t want it anymore and they scheduled a pick up date, which I took off work for, then never called to tell me they couldn’t come. I found out cause I called and asked if they were coming since it was outside of the time frame they told me by then. They had done this before though, told me they would be out to deliver my furniture and then not call or come. This is a horrible business to deal with. Don’t expect your furniture to come if you order it from here. Also expect that they will schedule delivery dates that you did not approve of, then not deliver or call to tell you that they aren’t going to either.

      Atrocious! I have never experienced such terrible customer service for such an underrated product! Received a product not up to par with what I thought I ordered. Reached out to customer service. Was told because it had been 10 days since delivery (I waited over 2 months to receive the product) I could not return the item. Their policy is 7 days! Therefore, I was 3 days outside of the window. Keep in mind Christmas Eve and Christmas was included in that 10 day span! Terrible customer service and policy! I will never shop with American signature furniture again!

      This is the most absymal company I have encountered. I have had nothing but issues and continue to have issues. I am not sure why they have a customer service team because it doesn't provide any service let alone any help. American Signature is great about placing blame elsewhere and fails to take accountability for its actions. It took over a year to get our couch delivered. The bed set they sent was broken and it took 7 different deliveries before they sent one that wasn't broken. The couch drawer was broken upon delivering and it took over a month to have a tech come out to repair it. Less than a year into owning the couch it is already discoloring and American Signature refuses to provide any service or help. Please do not purchase from this company as it is not "Designer furniture at designer prices." Instead, it is "Cheap furniture that is overpriced" and then after spending all that money the company refuses to assist its customers and stand behind its products. The C-Suite Executives should be ashamed at how this company is operating.

      I order a bedroom set at Value City Furniture on 11/21/23, I paid for the delivery and I made arrangements to have the set delivery on 12/29/23. I GAVE THEM PLENTY OF TIME TO GET THIS DELIVERY RIGHT! I was told that I would be notify the day before my delivery which would had been on 12/28/23, but on that day I hadn't seen any voice mail or text and had to call the store to see what's going on with my deliver .I was told that they reschedule my delivery date for 12/30/23 never giving me a reason WHY they reschedule but they did tell me that my dresser will not be with this delivery am really upset at this point and was also told the dresser would becoming on Jan 3rd. anyway there was nothing I could do at this point but to accept what was going on. On 12/29/23 they sent me a email to confirm the delivery date BUT when I tried to confirm I got a message saying" Oops there seems to be some mistake". Needless to say they cancel my delivery date again! I call the store once again and was told that they will be delivering it on Jan 3th but THIS TIME I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO MIRROR COMING FOR THE DRESSER! I tried calling customer service at the store to make a complaint but NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES AT THE **** ******** **** ** ************ ** STORE. NEVER WILL I SHOP AT VALUE CITY FURNITURE STORE'S AGAIN!
