      Part 1: Because 0 stars was not an option. This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They obviously do not care if they provide deplorable customer service because they continue to practice the same tactics with abandon. Truly wish I had read all the customer reviews here first because then I would have avoided this company all together. Here is the timeline of our nightmare.
      4/29/23- After shopping at several stores, my husband and I finally agreed on a new couch we found while browsing in the Florence, KY Value City Furniture (VCF) store. We live 45 minutes from the store but made an additional trip to ensure our measurements were correct before purchasing on 4/29/23. We settled on a 6-piece sectional from their signature line and upgraded to a higher quality fabric and fabric protection. It was not cheap, but we have pets and felt the upgrades would come in handy. We were given 6/30/23 for the delivery date. The sales rep screwed up our order at check-out and forgot to include everything, which we didn’t realize. We made it to our car and were leaving the parking lot when they called us back to correct the issue. We had to return to the store and pay again. In retrospect, we should have taken this as a sign, and immediately demanded our money back and cancelled the order.
      6/27/23- My husband gets a call from VCF confirming the 6/30 delivery date and gives him a time. My husband had already taken time off of work to be available on the delivery date. His phone number is listed on the order- this will be important later.

      Horrible company. Movers damage your property. Employees give excuses as to why your paid for furniture will not be delivered as promised. Liars and uncaring people.

      This is the worse place to purchase furniture from. I had purchased couches back in August 2023 and we are mid December 2023 and still no couches. They were to be delivered within the six week window. As of today, they are and continue to be available for sale online with no notes related to "out of stock". However, since then I had about 8 delivery delays, if not more. I stopped counting after the fourth one. It is anywhere from: Furniture was damaged when delivered to the store, the system coded your order incorrectly when purchased online and so that delayed the delivery, then there was that company went to new system update/change, to now out of stock (still available in store and online) to vendor constantly changing delivery delivery. I have made numerous calls to the customer service and there is ZERO help from that department. They keep saying the same thing, they can't control the changes, it is the vendor changing. Well, if its the vendor, then pick up the phone and call them to find out the actual issue and if they can't fulfill the order then TAKE IT off from the site!!! When will someone (VC) take any other actions and contact the vendor!! They have contracted with the vendor, they should be able to reach out and say "what is going on" with the change. I could be waiting 10 years for these couches if no one at VC will take any sort of lead with vendor. Vendor is vendor and VC is their client, they need to address this with vendor ASAP! This is NOT acceptable! Who does business in such matter? I don't know any other furniture company that would allow this to happen. I understand maybe three delivery changes, but this is beyond normal. No one knows anything at VC accept its a delay, there are managers that need to step in or get the district involved, that's there job. I received the $200 back, that $200 is NOTHING. Couches were $2K. They should be refunding me $100 for each deliver change! I'm extremely frustrated and unhappy! I need help.

      The worse customer service. Manager did not return my call, store manager lying amd refusing to talk to me or allow me to return items. I should have read the reviews before going to this store. AVOID THIS STORE!!!

      To whom it may Concern. I purchase the 2 piece Coco set in April. This was my first time purchasing from American Sig. This has been the WORSYpurchase experience I have ever had. The customer service is NON EXISTENT. I picked up my couch the end of August only to discover the Right facing side was damaged. During pick up I noticed one of the boxes was torn up. When I asked why I was asked do you have the insurance. I called the store to speak to Raj the Mgr he told me his favorite line I'll call you back. I waited over a week called back and scheduled an appointment for someone to come look at the couch. Some one came out. Said the motor was hanging on by 1 screw and that it appears that it has been dropped on a hard surface. That explained the appearance of the box. He said he would report and and a exchange would be issued that was in Sept 1st week. I waited again and called I was first told I didn't have a service then it was found. An exchange was set up only to arrive with the wrong side. I called to speak to Raj and again he said he would call me back I have never received a call back from him . Kimberly called to to tell me about 2 sep deliveries that never took place. I've asked for Corp number I've emailed and and set up delivery for Nov 2 never happened. I Am Totally Digusted and Fed up with the way I have been treated. I was told the only way to reach Corp is to write and they still don't respond I was promised a discount that now would be way too small for what I've experienced. I want my EXCHANGE and some one from the Corporate to call me with a RESOLUTION. DONT BUY FROMTHIS COMPANY I PURCHASED FROM THE DULUTH STORE. I told them I would report to the BBB and still I have heard nor had any correspondence from the store Mgr nor corporate office.. I had to give a rating they don't deserve the one star but I couldn't leave it blank

      I purchased a Solana 2-Piece Sectional with a cuddler on September 18th, 2023. I have come to find out this couch is a newer style to VCF, but none-the-less a great couch from the photos I viewed and the perfect measurements for our space.
      After purchase, the estimated delivery date was October 17th. We waited anxiously and saved a space in our new apartment for the couch. Sadly, the first delivery date was missed due to a delay from the vendor. We were upset but understanding and looked forward to the rescheduled delivery on October 22nd.
      Value City was certain this reschedule date would work. Unfortunately, this date did not work and delivery has since been delayed an additional 6 times and have caused me to take off days of work to be available for the couch delivery, only to find out less than 24 hours prior that it is not coming. The most recent delay was due to a "broken item" that allegedly was received by VCF, but upon my request to see a photo, was shut down.
      VCF has held our $2000 from the purchase of the couch, and provided false delivery estimations that continue to hold us to this purchase. If VCF was truthful about the delay and let me know in October the delay would take us into December, I would have canceled (and maybe purchased another couch from them). Instead we have been strung along with empty promises of 3 day at a time delays and constant clamoring that they will compensate us for the inconveniences. However, they will not agree upon an amount until "after delivery"- that at this point, I don't believe is happening this year.
      I would have cancelled the order by now if not for liking the style of the couch. VCF continues to sell this item on their website, despite not being able to deliver it to its customers. This is blatant FALSE ADVERTISING and I am calling out for them to make this right, deliver my couch, provide compensation, and tell the truth.
      Please avoid Value City Furniture for your OWN GOOD.

      We purchased a Tacoma dual power recliner from this place along with other items from the Burbank location. We were persuaded to the 5 year warranty in case of any wear and tear. There was an issue with the recliner where it started not to recline properly. So at this point, I decided to file a claim. The guy comes out, assesses the issue then rights his own report just for them to deny it. I call back to dispute this decision and was told to put in another claim just to be told that it'll be denied again. I urge future buyers never to purchase the warranty. They WILL NOT repair a single thing.

      I purchased a $5000.00 leather sectional from Value City with their 5 year warranty. I purchased this warranty because it was supposed to cover stains, punctures etc. I filed two claims with them. The first was for stains I could not remove. There were a couple of stains that I included in my claim for a couple sections in the sectional. When the tech arrived my home, he said that there was only one claim filed for one stain. I explained that I put it all in one claim. The technician responded that he only has one claim for one stain and advised to file again for the other stain. I looked at the claim and I saw it was all there, so not sure what that was all about. While there, he could not remove the stain. Weeks later I received a sleeve in the mail for the stain on one section. It did not make good since to even put it on, because the leather was not going to match. The seat right beside it was much more worn. I called the company and of course no resolution.
      On October 15, 2023, I pulled my couch from the wall to vacuum and saw that a thick piece of metal was sticking out of the back of the couch. So, I definitely found the need to file another claim. I submitted the claim on November 15, 2023. I received a response that my claim was not covered, because I did not file the claim within 30 days of noticing the damage. Even though I was not aware of the 30 days requirement, I was surprised that this timeframe was not considered 30 days as most reasonable people would. However, it was 31 days. I asked to speak with a manager to discuss the matter, but of course they said there is no manager. I can't believe there is not anyone available for to discuss this matter.
      One other matter: It was not easy getting a claim filed.
      My experience with the Warranty Service that Value City uses is unacceptable. I am so upset that I bought a warranty with them that is so difficult to use. I really want my couches fixed or my warranty money back.

      I purchased a couch and love seat in Leather due to allergies. When I purchased it I took the insurance to cover accidental damages. Well still under warrenty and now the couch is sinking in on one side where most people sit due to the end table on that side. They a repairman who replaced the cushion, did not work, so they sent another gentleman out who added more cushion to the back of the. couch. The problem is not the back of the seating it is the. front. When you sit you can hear the springs. I love the set I have and feel a couch should last longer than 4 or 5 years. They offered me a little over $300.00 for the problem and said they sent their best man out to fix it. Well, I find this unacceptable. I feel like the couch can be repaired. What happened years ago? Furniture would last forever. I would beg my parents to buy new furniture, yet I remained sitting on the gold velvet couch covered with plastic; but the furniture lasted. I feel they wanted me to take the $300 plus dollars only to buy more furniture and struggle with monthly payments. This is not the 1st time I had problems with their furniture; it has happened several times but was always resolved. I will not be buying from them again when they don't stand behind their product. I have been buying from them in Bayonne, NJ and have been a customer for years now and always had problems.

      I bought my couch from Value City Furniture on brookpark road on September 17th, 2023. It is now Novemeber 26th 2023. I have only received one peice of my 3 piece couch. They told me it was in stock and ready for pick up but when I get to the store they say it won't be ready until next week. Always next week. It's been going on like this for 2 months and I'm done calling them, done waiting. I just want what I purchased. This store is full of lies.
