      We bought a dining table and 4 chairs on July 17, 2023. We were told it would be in July 31 and delivered on August 4. On August 2, they called and said it was delayed, and would be delivered on August 29. On August 27, another call informed us there was another delay and delivery was going to be September 29. On September 27, yet another call told us there was another delay and the product would be delivered on October 6. On October 5, we received a confirmation text that the furniture would be delivered on October 6 between 7:15 and 10:15 a.m. The furniture was not delivered. We called and were told it still wasn't available and the earliest delivery now would be October 18. The delivery hub did not even have the courtesy to call us and let us know the delivery was again delayed. We went to the store and got a refund. At this point, our patience is exhausted. We've dealt with this company for years and their customer service has deteriorated. We will never deal with this company again.

      A company that sales you furniture they don’t even have in stock, I purchased my furniture in august and it’s now October and still have not received it!!! They cancel the delivery date even after they call to confirm a time with you not once but 7 times already!!!

      WORST customer service. I have a $4000 defective couch in my home that has not been replaced because Value City keeps pushing back my delivery date on replacement (3 times already!) and my first payment is due before I have the actual couch that I purchased! No one ever answers their phone, no one returns messages and my requests are met with resistance. They keep rescheduling without calling me for a time when I work full time!!

      I spent almost $1500 on a dresser in this store. Starting in July 2023, the handle fell off. It was going to take 2 weeks before someone could come out to repair it. They stuck a piece of paper behind the screw and said it was repaired. When I complained, they ordered a new drawer which took another month. The drawer arrived, they said from China, broken up in a box and was just bouncing around. Then they decided to replace the entire dresser which arrived warped on one corner. They sent another dresser that looked like it had been thru hell and the top was not sitting flush to be body of the dresser. I refused it. After speaking with the store manager and customer service in head quarters and even with pictures, they told me they would give me a 20% discount and that having done so, my 1 year warranty would be invalidated. So, I go a discount on a jacked up dresser. I could return it and pay a 15% restocking fee. I could pay $99 (more money) and get another product. It's a scam. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

      Buyer BEWARE I bought a beautiful fireplace from Value City Woodbridge. I had just moved into my new home in Ruther Glen Va which they said they would deliver to the fireplace arrived broken twice! I called back to tell them that I wanted a refund and that they needed to come a pick up the broken fireplace. when I called I was informed that I would be refunded but would not be getting the delivery fee. I drove back to the Woodbridge Value City with receipt in hand. One of the managers came out I explained about what had happened, he left and said he would have to check to see if the fireplace had been taken back to the warehouse. I had no problem with that, it took him about thirty minutes he came back out and called down to where the actual delivery came from in Richmond Va he was that he needed the fireplace back at the Woodbridge Store and he and the manager from Richmond told him he was to refund me my money since I bought it from that store . I found him to be quite rude saying that the fireplace should be returned to their store, before giving me back my money.
      Long story short he was very rude telling the clerk in rude way give her back her money. Never apologized for their bad product. I will never buy them again!! Poor Customer Service! I called corporate and Valerie was able to get my issue resolved very quickly.

      I purchased a nightstand I’ve only had it for a few months. After just a few months the nightstand I purchased the pain is peeling off. I didn’t waste anything i didn’t spill anything. When I reached out to value city the only thing they told me was that the nightstand wasn’t made to put anything on it. This is shameful I will never go and purchase anything from Value city again. I’ve been a valued customer for many many years and this is the worst encounter I’ve ever had. I called and spoke to a worker named Valerie and she was very unpleasant on the phone. She hung up on me as well. This place needed better customer service training and more customer compassion. And better quality products that they are selling because there is NO way this nightstand should be this way after less than half a year. I expected better quality and respect but I did not receive that. I will never shop with them again!!!!!

      The worst experience ever. Been waiting on the furniture since August 26th. Each week it’s another excuse as to why they cannot deliver the furniture. It’s ridiculous. If you know you don’t have an item nowhere near in stock then state that so that us customers have the option of waiting but instead you take our money and constantly delay it with no sympathy just a pathetic i’m sorry. Next week will make a month with still no furniture. They won’t even transfer you to a manager that’s how dead ass wrong they know they are. Completely disappointed and will never shop here again.
