      Liars and thieves. I bought a mattress off their website which was advertised as an innerspring mattress and received a mattress that has not a SINGLE spring-- literally a 100% foam mattress with a quilted top. I contacted them through their website, and submitted a complaint here with the BBB and was told directly by a representative that the mattress was in fact an innerspring mattress and that I could not return it because it was just a comfort issue. It was NOT a comfort issue-- it's not the mattress I was promised! I cut the effing thing open just to see with my own eyes that it was a block of foam with a quit top. NO SPRINGS. Blatant false advertising or one hell of a manufacturing defect, either way, I was told in no uncertain terms by this company that I'm stuck with it.
      If you have any kind of issue kiss your money good-bye. I am never shopping here again and telling anyone I can get to listen to do the same. I cannot believe after 7 years of getting all of my furniture here how poorly I was treated by the corporate "resolution" center when I have video evidence of this mattress being falsely advertised. I will have to get a lawyer involved to get my money back at this point.
      STAY AWAY! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, MEDIOCRE QUALITY FURNITURE, BAD RETURN POLICY.

      NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
      I bought a couch and love seat set Online that only the love seat came but couch never came. I returned it 2 months later during Labor Day sale for another set which I was to receive $292 refund that never came. So I kept the Love seat and they ended up charging $1300 for an $800 love seat. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! They won’t let me return the Love Seat. I WILL NEVER SHOP there again!

      Worst service I’ve ever had bought a couch from them and had a warranty on it and the electric powered cup holders quit working on both sides of the couch with in a year and I kept trying to get new one’s and they kept pushing it back and finally 4 months after I ordered new ones they called me and said they came in but I would have to pick them up the store that I live 46 minutes away from so I go to the store cause I’m tired of waiting for them I get to the store and their is other customers in front of me and they are complaining about service too lol but I waited I finally get to speak to the guy at the service desk he pull out two packages thinking it is my two electric cup holders but no it is one of the cup holders and one metal cup holder so I explain to about all of the mix up that’s been going on and he apologized and said I will another one and then continued to tell that I didn’t need to come to the store to pick up the cup holders that a service tech would come to my house and install it and that’s when I explained that I had congestive heart failure and really messed up back he ok they will handle all the install and one week later the tech showed with another package thinking it was my other cup holder I was happy to get them done he comes in and opened the package and it was another metal cup holder again so he said I will have to order the right one I told him that I had one but not the other he said ok I’m going to order the other one and he walked outside thinking that he was coming back in to at least put the one in I find out that he just got in his van and left I never heard from anyone for two days and that’s when I called the store and said what happened and again they apologized and said they ordered a new one and the tech would call me when it comes in so I get a two weeks later explaining that it came in and that would be at my house with the tech in two days between 1-3 I said ok 2:30 that he calls me and says that the part did not show

      I have bought a few pieces there before. Did not have any issues. I bought a bedroom set from them and the delivery guys. They were nice but they did not send center supports or rather they did not send the correct center supports for the bed. So we called the store and they said that we can come pick them up or we were going to have to wait a week and a half. This is after we paid for delivering setup. So we went up there 2 days later to get our center supports get home and find their the wrong ones again. So yes, called the store again talk to. I believe his name was Wilson at the St. Peter's store and same problems so my husband was forced to go to the store and build our own supports so we could actually use our bed guaranteed. Never will shop there again. And the lady her name was Phyllis that I talked to a few times on the phone. She was just a nasty woman. Absolutely no customer service skills on the phone because I was upset she was just very unprofessional. I do not recommend her to anybody.

      Horrible experience as it started off. We were told our dinette and couch would be delivered 4 days later. We have been waiting for a very long time to keep being told day after day week after week month after month that it has been delayed AGAIN for the 68th time. I have talked to many customer service members, very few managers and they’re all horrible. Just keep turning you in circles to go through the same loop with each and everyone of them. At one point no one even communicated about the delay i just assumed it wasn’t going to come. we’ll get the confirmation a day or two before and get a call several hours later saying it has been delayed. Tons of reasons for delays. I even called to cancel at one point and they won’t even give me what I paid for the table, mind you that was another bad experience because the lady told me the date would change again because she cancelled it, i ended up hanging up and she totally lied because when I called back a different customer service person told me it was never cancelled. AFTER THAT THE ONLY THING I WAS OFFERED WAS FREE SECOND DELIVERY which I HAD already been told id have because the whole reason I don’t have the dining room table is because when they delivered the couch the didn’t load it with the couch to bring to my house. I’ve been waiting on chairs to get the rest of the delivery. Just a very horrible experience, very horrible customer service and very horrible business. Save your money effort time and value somewhere else because value city furniture does not value their customers.

      Horrible Service and Communication, I purchased a bedset and dresser and was given a delivery date 3 weeks later. On the date of the delivery all they brought was a dresser; I never received a notification there would be a delay with any items until the driver showed up. Because I purchased with Accepetance Now no one in the store except that rep could help me and they were not even there for 2 days. No one online or over the phone could or would help.

      Terrible and horrible Experience, very poor and bad unskilled incompetent customers service including their so called supervisors and managers. Zero communication skills, I regretted ever knowing their name. They keep changing dates for delivery without communication and apologies, worst is delivering in parts and pieces not what I paid for.
      Value city furniture not to be trusted…

      Selling items they don’t have in stock. Delay after delay.
      Promised delivery dates only to continue to change dates month after month. Tried charging me a restock fee on items they don’t have in stock.
      If they would have stated the actual delays on delivery, I would have never made the purchase. Now stuck with a bed & mattress without headboard & footboard they won’t take back. Customer service is the worst. Don’t know what happened to the service, I’ve been a shopper there for over 25 years. Shop elsewhere and save the aggravation.

      Absolutely horrible experience, I baught a bed frame and paid for delivery installation I warned them in store at the plainfield, indiana location. We just baught a house and it's under reinvention. So the delivery was on time but they flat out refused to set up on the grounds that they were running late, on calling to reschedule the installation: the real reason is because the house is under rennovation and being redone and there was mice here, that is a problem. On top of that all 4 of my roommates are physically disabled, so we got told they could either refund it and come pick up the bed or refund us a delivery fee. After that we tried to set it up but found none of the equipment needed to put it together, Absolutely horrible communication. I have never been so angry, and on top of that. Turns out my address may have been blacklisted for installation so even if I get the room Styrofoam and mice poop free they will never come do the job I paid them to do. I regret ever trying them. Aaron's and rent a center have come to help me many times with no complaints. I am livid.

      I ordered a canopy bed and the delivery continues to be delayed because the warehouse is sending the wrong parts needed to assemble bed. I'm on my second delivery and dealing with customer service is a pain. I don't recommend this company and everyone needs to be trained. Although I ordered from the Smyrna location, Kennesaw handles delivery and all resolutions for complaints. I'm not happy whatsoever.
