Piss poor way of doing business. You better believe that word of mouth is the best advertising there is. You better believe that I'm telling any and everyone about how I've had to go to corporate and that they are refusing to give me the information to get in touch with the ceo of the company. But I'll find a way and I'll be filling his ear. I'm in the process of contacting my local news station. They eat this kind of stories up.American Signature Inc.

If possible, I would give a zero rating from my experience with this store. First, upon deciding on the items I wanted to purchase, I was told they were available. During the checkout process, not once, but twice the salesperson tried to sneak the warranty onto the transaction and had to get it reversed. Our scheduled delivery was cancelled three times. We were notified by the third-party delivery company, NOT THE STORE. The store would never answer the phone (not sure why they have one) and had to talk to someone multiple times at the corporate office. Upon the third delay, I decided to cancel my order. I finally got transferred to someone at the store. I was told the store manager was not in and talked with a sales manager who showed no empathy or remorse for the situation. I have also requested on two separate occasions to speak to their “Market Leader” in charge of the store and, in similar fashion to the store, have not received a response. I was completely appalled at the lack of value I was given as a customer regarding the inconvenience I received for the multiple delays, the fact the store did not notify me of the delays, and the complete unresponsiveness from the store and its leadership team. I will be surprised if this store will continue to be in business for very much longer with their approach to customer value. Will not shop here or with another Value City Furniture again. Stay Away and spend your money with a company that deserves it.American Signature Inc.

Went Friday August 4, looking at furniture, decided to buy ($6500) worth of furniture with the salesman assuring us it’d be in by August 11, except for maybe 1 piece, we said we could live with that, I came back august 5 to pay, all was going great, then today, august 9, they called and said now nothing is coming in till at least the 16 of august, if then, and they couldn’t tell me if or any of the furniture would be there then, and if not then, not until September at the earliest, so we asked for our money back, they said could only do an in store credit, well this is unacceptable as we will never shop there again, the store is in beavercreek OhioAmerican Signature Inc.

1st purchase There furniture *****. Bought living room set, cushions collapsed in 3 months had to buy cushions from ***** ******* and fix myself. Dumb enough to give a 2nd chance. Covid order. Feb 2021 , Did not get until June, Spent more thinking a better set. NOT. 3 months in had furniture company repair recliner back broke off, cheap pressboard. 4 months later other end of sofa recliner broke. Today wire snapped can’t recline anymore. You are no Value, Value City. Will never purchase from you again. DONT BUY FROM THEM. CHEAP ****.American Signature Inc.

I have patronaged Value City for many years for all of my furniture and decor needs over the last Ten plus years. I don’t have a complaint about the products itself. It's being lead to purchase the PURE PROMISE., which ended up Being. A $600 PURE LIE..we were told they cover everything no matter what’s of that can’t fix it, they will replace it. A Big Lie. They send you to a outsource warranty service which is online. They send you out a cleaning kit to do it your self which is garbage. Then you have 14 days to let them know once you let them know, schedule a technician to come out again about a week and a half later to say he couldn’t fix it. I had to wait on the tech report to be entered on the site, which takes about a week. Because I did not use the correct words to describe what was clearly in the photo, they had to schedule the same tech out, which did not come with any tools to attempt to clean anything just entered a report a whole week later to Tell me that doesn’t cover it. Because of the accumulation of the stain, which was resolved correctly. A collection of SCAMS and LIES. Once we receive the information, the online Scammer warranty service will be provided. I reached out to Value City and spoke with a lady, and once I find the name, I will disclose it to express my concerns about what they are marketing when selling the PURE PROMISE. Once she saw that, she started sayingAmerican Signature Inc.

Terrible customer service, lied about delivery and never came then had to reschedule. I called to complain and they all blame each other, no one would take responsibility. The guys that delivered it eventually told me when they first came that they take tips! Very unprofessionalAmerican Signature Inc.

Update-Please don’t order from here!!! Although our sales person was great everything else in this experience has been simply horrific. We placed an order at the beginning of July that was then delayed several times resulting to a date of mid August. I was able to get one of the managers to adjust our delivery to end of July. Upon receiving my order the delivery drivers didn’t have a drill to put my things together,one of my bed and dresser/mirror was missing along with the screws for my other bed. I was told somebody would have to come back some other day to put it together and I need to call about the rest of my items. It’s almost impossible to get in touch with anyone or have them return a call. This experience has been extremely frustrating and ridiculous. I’ve talked to several different managers and they all give you the runaround. There is no customer service to actually contact you personally in regards to your orders or your issues. My delivery has been delayed almost 5 times since I’ve ordered the furniture that associates and managers have explained to me that this is just what happens when you buy furniture from there.American Signature Inc.

The service I received was absolutely terrible! A representative initially told me that I could get a new mattress, but despite calling for over three months, nothing has been resolved. They assured me that I didn't need to worry and that my account would be noted, but when I went to the store, I was told I couldn't get a replacement mattress. The whole situation was handled very unprofessionally, especially considering their warranty policy. I contacted the corporate office and I am now considering taking legal action because this issue is causing me physical problems, such as back issues. This store is the worst and something needs to be done to address these problems.American Signature Inc.

When purchasing furniture from value city furniture only use your own money (start saving Now because VCF has hefty price tags). Do not use acceptance now services, if offered. The staff at this location are the most unprofessional financial group to work with, from being unresponsive to emails, not returning calls left for return pick up and not knowing how accomplish basic tasks. I requested to return the furniture and they "claim" it was placed but no one ever contacted me about it after multiple attempts from me to communicate. I went to the store to speak with the manager (who conveniently was never there when I arrived or called) and associates could not give adequate guidance. I suggested I'd haul the items to whatever location because I no longer wanted them. I really believe the purchase request was never placed and it was an attempt to continue to collect funds, to which was paid in full ( to which the associate working didn't even know how to process the early pay off option, go figure). When I asked to be kept in the loop with communication I NEVER got a response from any associate or the manager, Shak. Every aspect of my experience post furniture arrival has been horrible. I will never use value city furniture ever again and recommend that you RUN elsewhere. If zero stars was a thing this place would be one.American Signature Inc.

Worst service ever.
I purchased over$7,000 of furniture for living room and dining room. All items were confirmed available on day of purchase and scheduled to be delivered to my house all at once($527.00 fee)
On delivery day I got a dining room table with no legs and I was told that a love seat and end tables would be delivered at a later date(a month later)
Fast forward a month and they call to confirm delivery date, but inform me that half of the love seat will not be delivered until 2 months later. They are the most unorganized company that I have ever dealt with.American Signature Inc.
