      The combination of the Frederick and Hagerstown Maryland stores have been awful. If I could give a ZERO star, I would. We bought our set of reclining couches in September of 2022. By February of 2023 one of the recliners stopped reclining. Called the store with their promise of fixing any issues, they sent out a contractor, said a part needed to be ordered to fix the problem. It is now the END OF MAY and the part has still not come in and we’ve been stuck with a broken chair. Not one call from the store to update us on the situation. We’ve called multiple times and all we get is, the part is still being delivered. HOW DOES IT TAKE OVER THREE MONTHS TO GET ONE PART?!? Terrible customer service, once you buy the furniture, they don’t give two craps about you. Do not buy from them!

      Veterans worst Experience with Value City with Memorial Day around the corner. Which i shown my Veterans id. Let me start off the day I went to get my furniture. My sales representative and I went around the store and I was satisfied with my store representative. She was very helpful and pleasant to work with. When we review my selection my representative thought the selection will fit in my home because I have a part of the selection already in my home. When the delivery guy came to my home they thought the selection was to big to fix through the front door which I agreed but we last delivery was delivered through the back door and I was told the policy is that they can not delivered to the back door which wasnt true. I had went back to the store and the guy their over delivery guys came back out to my home and told me it was a possibility it can fix through the back. I was told I would have to pay for delivery twice. I wasn't going to pay for delivery twice I decided to pick a different selection and I did. Only because I felt I had no choice between paying twice or picking something else. I asked to speak to the manager and the sale representative had already spoken to him so he didn't want to speak to me and he said the policy was the policy. I feel like I wasted my whole day since 2pm to 6pm at Value city when my home is literally 5miles from the location. I asked why I'm paying for delivery when they did half their job I should only have to pay half. So I decided I should change my selection to something that I felt should be worth the change and the representative decide to get an attitude with me because I was comfortable what I had and I wanted to change to something I felt was worth what I paying. At the point I felt like they were treating me as I was inconvenient them. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I have purchased here plenty of times and now I'm getting treated as I'm not a Value customer.

      We recently purchased a set of table lamps online from Value City Furniture. When they arrived and we unpacked the lamps we immediately noticed the base of the lamps were different. Additionally, we also realized the lamps were far too big for the purpose we purchased them for. We then called the customer service call center to report the defect and to see if we could either obtain a refund or do an even exchange to purchase lamps without any defects and that were the appropriate size. The customer rep informed us that because the lamps were purchased directly from the manufacturer, we were beyond VCFs 7 day window for returns. So we then asked if they would at least fix the defect issue by providing replacement lamps. We could then at least try to sell the lamps to recoup our cost. After providing pics of the defected lamps multiple times to facilitate the replacement request, we received a notification from the customer care team 5/17/23 that the lamps were not replaceable because the marble bases have different patterns in them, which they do not consider a defect. Now not only can we not return the lamps for a refund or exchange, we can't even get lamps that look the same. That's $275 of our hard earned money down the drain. If this the customer support we can expect from this organization, then we're much better off spending our money elsewhere. We were highly considering purchasing a new bedroom set from VCF in the very near future. But after this experience we've change our mind. We only gave a one star because of the call center reps. While although they were not very helpful, they were at least professional. If you're planning to purchase from VCF, think long and hard before you do.

      This is the worst company I've ever been to. They cannot get your order right. When it shows up to your address it's going to be either broke or it's going to be all wrong. Then if you want it fixed.
      It will take 3 months to get the part, then add another 3 months to get a repairman out to fix the problem. Which the repairman will have the wrong part, and you will have to wait another 4 months to reorder the part and another 3 months for the repairman to come back to still have the wrong part. Then the store will decide to just replace the unit. Just to have the store bring out the wrong order. So far this has taken about 10 months in all so far and I still don't have what I wanted to start with.

      I have been paying on a layaway at the Value City Furniture located in Burbank, IL. I went in today thinking that I was making my final payment. However, I was told by the manager, Josie, that I had to pay for delivery. I presented my original receipts to her, but it did not matter. All she had to say was that the delivery charge somehow got dropped. I told her that I was never made aware of this, and how is it that my last receipt prior today had a balance and I paid that balance today. But now, you are going to charge me for delivery again? She had no regard, just stated you never paid for delivery. I called the corporate office and spoke to Jasmine. She did try to assist me with the concern; however, after initially speaking to the store manager, Josie, she stated that I had to pay the delivery fee in order to receive my furniture. I asked her as a consumer, how is it fair to me that I have presented all of my receipts and paid off the balance based on what your company generated; however, I am now subject to a new fee after I was under the impression that I was done. She tried to seek a resolution to the store in Burbank by calling back 4 additional times, but they refused to answer. This store manager and the cashier who took my final payment are heartless and they do not care about their customers.

      The sales person at the Broad Street store Sam was excellent. The issues I have are with the outside delivery service. They delivered my recliner damaged and it was sent back. They then made a second delivery on Saturday and failed to bring the accessories for the chair to operate. I then drove to the store and the Managers Drew and Chris made a great effort and found me the needed accessories. I give the store on Broad Street 5 stars but your delivery service and warehouse get 1 star at best. Need to take a hard look at the 2 areas.

      Absolutely no quality control. One would think that anything having to be plugged in to work that would be done before it is deliverd to someones home. I purchased a dartmouth sectional for 3,338.34 on 5-1-2023. It was delivered on 5-6-2023 with a non-working recliner. Once I saw that the chair did not work I no longer wanted that chair. The delivery person said that they could not take it back and that they had to put a work order in on it. Why do you have to fix something that is new? It should have never been brought to my house in a non-working fashion. All they would have had to do is plug it in. Now I have to take off work for someone to come and fix what is suppose to be new furniture. I'm losing money.

      BEWARE OF HAVING THEM PUT TOGETHER YOUR FURNITURE !!! THEY DELIVERED AND INSTALLED MY DAUGHTER'S CONCERTO KING CANOPY BED AUG 2021 AND NOW THAT SHE HAS HAD TO MOVE WE HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TAKE APART THE BED TO FIND OUT THAT WHEN INSTALLED THE ALLEN HEX SCREWS WHERE DAMAGED BEING INSTALLED WITH A DRILL OR IMPACT GUN WE HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS AND NO ONE WANTS TO HELP
      WE HAVE TRIED WITH ALLEN HEX SCREW REMOVER STRIP SCREW KITS AND TANTANIUM DRILL BITS REMOVER AND IT NOTIHING IS WORKING
      WE HAVE CALLED CORPORATE NUMEROUS TIMES AND GET THE RUN AROUND OR JUST LEFT ON HOLD TILL LINE DISCONNECTS!!!
      THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE
      YOU GET PAID FOR INSTALLATION TO BE DONE CORRECTLY NOT RUSHED TO DAMAGE SCREWS THAT WE CAN NOT TAKE APART BED WHEN NEED TO!!!

      Ordered the Barlow Large Floating Entertainment Center in Black on November 14, 2022. The delivery date kept being moved back. On April 29, 2023 I was informed that the product is no longer available. So I have made payment on my Credit Card with Interest and the company has sent me a payment due notice every month and now they don't have the product. This is a cause of Fraud. There were still taking orders when the vendor stopped making the product. Not sure if they is happening to other people, but this practice should not be accepted.

      They have the same problem for years read the reviews. They will have what you bought 40days after the day you expect. DO NOT BUT ANYTHING IN THIS HORRIBLE STORE. YOU WILL REGRET FOR SURE. I BOUGHT A FULL ROOM BUT THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. THEY SAID THEY WILL HAVE AFTER 50 DAYS THAT I BOUGHT. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.
