      Value city sold us a warranty for $450. All we've done is fight to get our items repaired or spills taken out. They have not stood by their agreement. I do not feel Value City Furniture should be selling this warranty. They have not repaired or replaced the items that I have reported even though the warranty states these items should be covered.

      HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. On March 8th, I initially bought 2 recliners and a duel recliner. I was told that 2 of the pieces were in stock and could be delivered by a specific date and the 3rd piece would be ready for delivery a couple weeks later. When I found out the delivery fee ($190 for EACH delivery) and that it DID NOT include salvage of the old furniture, I cancelled delivery and hired a 3rd party company to pick up the items. The day of the first pick-up, only 1 item (duel recliner) was ready for pickup. I had to pay the same company another fee to come pick up the second piece at a later date. When I would call up checking on my 3rd piece I would get a different answer every time I spoke to someone different. One person said it would be ready for pickup on the 18th. Then I called to ensure it would be there later and was told it was the 28th. I called again to confirm and was told by Valerie that it was being delivered on April 1st. At that point I just gave up because it was only 3 days different and I was done dealing with the store. I just wanted my last piece of furniture and be done with that horribly ran location. On March 27th, I got a call from Value City confirming that my delivery would be there on April 1st between 10:30am and 1:30pm. They said that the delivery driver would call 15-20 minutes before arriving. At 11:30am I had a bad feeling and called the 1-888 Corp #. After being on hold for 5-10 minutes he came back and said that he was unable to get ahold of anyone at the store to confirm my delivery. SO I called the store at 11:45am and spoke to Valerie. She placed me on hold to find out where my furniture was and came back a few minutes later and said she would call me back after she spoke to the distribution center. She never called back. I called at 1:45pm and spoke to someone and said that Valerie left for the day and that my order would not be delivered until April 12th. I cancelled at that point and will never be back.

      We bought a couch and loveseat along with a very expensive warranty. Our couch now needs repaired and they offered us a very low amount of to keep the broken couch instead of fixing or replacing it. It is still available on the website so I'm not sure why they won't fix it or replace it. Plus if we except the cash offer is voids our expensive warranty that we still have three years left on

      I'm EXTREMELY upset and disappointed with VALUE CITY FURNITURE!!! I received an Alert from my credit score company that an account was CLOSED. So of course I checked to see which account was CLOSED because I didn't inform any of my creditors to CLOSE any accounts. Come to find out it was my Value City Plus Furniture card that was CLOSED. When I called Customer Service to inquire why my account was closed the representative inform me due to lack of making a purchase. I then ask to speak to a Supervisor, when connected the Supervisor states that I haven't used my card in the last three years. Duh, we were in a PANDEMIC the last three years. No one was buying anything during that time. Never mind you, I've basically furnished my home (three rooms ) with furniture from VALUE CITY, and they took it upon themselves to CLOSE my ACCOUNT and tell me I can Re-Apply. Nope, Nada, No Thanks Value City Furniture!!!!!! They just showed me that they didn't VALUE me as an Exceptional Customer.
      UNACCEPTABLE VALUE CITY FURNITURE!!!

      Horrible Customer Service. I purchased a sofa sectional from Value City Furniture and received a phone call from a representative telling me the sofa was “IN”. Arrangements were made for the sofa to be delivered on Friday March 24. We never received a phone call from the store confirming the delivery after being told they would call the night before and the day of the delivery. I contacted the store and they told me not only was the sofa not going to be delivered, but we weren’t on the list. I asked to speak to a manager and was told to call back after 12:00 PM. I drove to the store and spoke to the manager Jerry R*** who told me the sofa was at the warehouse in Indiana and the earliest it could be delivered is next Thursday. He could not answer why we were never contacted. I took the day off to be home for the delivery and now we have nowhere to sit in the family room until next week.

      I bought a sectional from VALUE City Nov 2021.By April 2022 the stitching on a cushion was splitting. A repair person came out and said I would get a call in 5 days. I called in 5 weeks...got the run around then at 4. 5,7, 9 and 11 months I called Value City and nobody knows what to do but say the store manager will call me and he never does. It's been almost 1 year of not being able to use that cushion so now it's a.different shade of grey. Value City literally just ignored their faulty but expensive couch that I couldn't sit on one end for almost a year. Value City in Gurnee IL, I am really disgusted by the way you treat your customers.

      I spend a lot of money of the couches to have a couch with patches on the side and fabric cuts. The piece of wood used to fix couch had oxide nails on it. After the repair, it continue to have a gap. The fabric full of noticeable staples and a horrible patch. The couch pillows have fabric that creates balls on them.
      I paid for couches that after repairs looks like I took them out of the dumpster and on top the money I spend to have repairs done, just to have horrible looking couches.

      We ordered a blanket from this store waited a week finally called to see if it arrived they said it did we went up to the store the next day to retrieve the package we ordered and paid for just for them to tell us they put our ordered package on the floor where they sold it to someone else that we need to just order it again and wait another week just absurd on the help in which we received as if they did nothing wrong

      How is City Furniture in Toledo Ohio on Monroe is horrible horrible furniture store I still have a warranty my furniture is not even a year old and it's all broken down they say that it's my fault it's neglect how can you neglect a couch and a chair are you kidding me you just don't want to fix your merchandise and if I would have read the reviews before I bought from them I would have never done it they have way too many bad reviews
