      On December 6, I received a wardrobe. The next day, I opened the boxes and found two pieces broken. On December 7, I emailed regarding this situation, and I am still waiting for something to be done since that time. I gave them all the details they asked for and all the pictures. I emailed tons of emails and called a lot of times - no one doesn't care. All the time, they said they needed to reach out to the vendor to check what they could do. After a while, WHEN MY PATIENCE GOT OVER, I told them that I wanted to return the wardrobe, but the customer service said that my return window was closed. That's not my problem that you can't figure out what to do faster, I informed customer service right away. It's almost two months since the wardrobe sitting in the middle of the room in the boxes, and they still can't figure out what to do. They can't refund the money, they can't pick up the wardrobe back, but they can offer 20% off. Seriously, would someone accept 20% off for something that is not usable? They also told me that these two broken parts MAYBE would be available in April, but they couldn't tell me this right away. They told me this after almost two months. Now they just keep ignoring me. I encourage everyone - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I'LL MAKE SURE TO SHARE MY REVIEW ON EVERY SINGLE SOCIAL MEDIA. ALSO, I'LL HIRE A LAWYER BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO COOPERATE, BUT I WILL NOT PAY FOR A WARDROBE THAT IS NOT USABLE.

      I purchased a bedroom set in late September. Signed up and paid for delivery (it will be delivered Oct. 5th). I did not know at the time delivery to where I lived is only on every other Wednesdays- this was not told to me in detail). Upon many delays and reschedules and countless calls to the store and to the company office in Philadelphia, I finally had my bedroom set delivered a few months later- but without the end table- it will be delivered Nov. 9 (here we go again). Then I got the email/text saying it was postponed until after the new year- production had stopped until after the holidays. I was told, by the supervisor of the store, that I would have a $60 credit. Now fast forward to present time- January. The end table is no longer available- they do not make it anymore. Since I chose not to go into the store and find another table, and go through this whole thing over again, I chose the refund. The assistant at the store helped me with this and said my refund will include the $60. However, it did not. After all of the delays, countless phones, and empty promises, I will never go back to Value City Furniture again. Their customer service is not up to par and for the quality of items- you can do better......

      horrible buisiness. they do not care about customers. twice they delivered damaged furniture. kept giving me the run around picking up furniture so i could get money back. keeping it short as there is too much to type. never do business with these people. are dishonest when telling you about pickup dates to keep you from getting money back. horrible company. should be out of business

      I purchased a sleeper sofa with a chaise from American Signature/Value City at the Sand Lake Orlando location and paid for a extended warranty service. On 07/28/2022 I opened a claim at *********************** and they contacted me 4 months later, because AS requested WS on 11/02/2022 directly to follow up my claim. AS said my sofa was discontinued, it would be difficult to repair, since they would not be able to send the parts to the warranty company and on those cases they will need to issue a store credit. On 11/11/2022, the tech came to my house and told me that based on what he saw, they will definitely replace the chaise unit. I explained him the sofa was discontinued and he said, "if it is discontinued, they'll give you a store credit." On 12/07/2022 I received an email from Warranty Service saying "we have reviewed your claim and based on your plan Terms and Conditions the issue you reported is not covered". On 12/09/2022 I sent them a written dispute and their response was "Based on the information and photos provided by the service tech, the damages reflect an accumulation of stains and damage that is not covered under warranty". When I first placed my claim on 07/28/2022 my couch was only showing the issues I reported at the time, but after waiting 4 months for them to show up at my house, OF COURSE anything can happen when having a child on your house. My question is, why the tech told me the sofa's chaise will be replaced? Not sure if they magnified the pictures and viewed the spots under a microscope. But, regardless of the stains that occurred during those 4 months of waiting, the main damage should be covered by the warranty. Besides, the the chaise's fabric quality of is very poor compared to the rest of the sofa and of course will be difficult to maintain or clean it. I am 100% sure they denied the claim, ONLY because they don't have the parts. I think they have to look for alternatives to repair it or give me an store credit.

      Almost 3 years ago, I bought purchased living room furniture from value city in Columbia South Carolina. And shortly after I would say within four months, the cushions for the ends of each couch and the back cushion for the chair started collapsing. I called Value City and they were supposed to order me new cushions, but the only thing they sent me was the casings for the cushions and said that they don’t they don’t send cushions that are filled, this took a year for them to give me the first cushions and casing that they had there on the second year. They called me and said that they have the cushions again when I get there it is the back cushions for the middle of the couches, so they re-ordered the arm back cushions and today a year later, they called me to let me know that my cushions are in again however, they were still the middle cushions not the end cushions that go out over the arms and the casings, which is probably the ones that go over the end of the couch and the chair backing. I am very disappointed in Value City and I will never buy from them again. They do not hold up their warranty and it took them almost 3 years to figure to get things for my couch. I feel that is poor customer service, and again will never buy from them .

      I have to give a star, but no star is deserved. Before purchasing our sofa with chaise lounge at Value City Furniture in Charlotte, NC, we told the representative we were moving to Florida and would the warranty that we purchased be covered in Florida, he said yes, American City Furniture is the sister store. Well, here we are two years later and the ENTIRE SOFA, CHAISE AND PILLOWS are Pilling. I took a pillow into American City Furniture in Altamonte Springs FL, showed the representative and she said, "the material is deteriorating to call the warranty company. Called warranty company and sent pictures, they responded "it's not a covered item and was told to buy a fabric shaver", so I did. It took HOURS to get the pilling off. I saved the bag with all the material I shaved off. I can't believe in just 2 years the entire sofa and pillows would be pilling. This indicates cheap fabric, which we spent extra money on the custom fabric. This is poor quality and I am very disappointed that I will have to shave my sofa going forward in the years to come and as I do the fabric will break down. I have never had ANY furniture that pilled.

      Value city stinks and so dose there warrenty. Store could not get parts after they came out to see what was wrong with our chair. Told us to call warenty company. Called them and said I had to contact them with in 30 days of problem. I was at 33 days. Said my warranty was void. Store said not there problem because 1 year warranty ran out while we were waiting on part they could not get. Called corporate and they said not their problem.

      Please avoid Value City Furniture if you are expecting to be treated as a valued customer. We purchased a family sectional for our living room with an extend warranty (5 year protection plan). We had to call three times in three years. We had someone do repairs the first two times and they were very nice. The third time we had to call (see the photos below) of underneath the cushions and leg recliner. We called and reported (sent pictures and video) everything that was asked of us only to be told by a Value City Representative ”That’s not under your protection plan because that’s normal wear and tear” If we have called for the exact same reasons two times before why wouldn’t it be covered now. I am beyond disappointed in the purchase of this furniture, protection plan, and overall customer service from Value City Furniture Headquarters. If someone tells you to shop at this establishment my recommendation would be to find somewhere else that appreciates your business.

      If you can't pay for your furniture straight out or put the furniture in layaway do not finance your furniture because they will go through Rent-A-Center and they will take your payments twice and they will not pay you back and they will lie I give them no stars value City gets no stars die *******

      Absolutely AWFUL customer service. I was so excited to get my couch now I wish I could just cancel my order. I wish I would’ve never supported this company to begin with!! Would never recommend this business to ANYONE.
