      This company and its employees are committing fraudulent charges. I purchased a $741 recliner that I needed to take home the same day due to a family members medical necessities. During checkout, they had a problem with their system and it did not print out my receipt. They assumed the transaction did not go through although it showed as pending in my credit card right away.I was told I needed to run another credit card. Since I was in desperate need to take this recliner the same day, they ran the other card which printed out the receipt. I was told to call back so they could issue me a refund for the first charge. Called back got hung up on, second time no one answered, third time finally got manager ******* on the phone and she went on to tell me they are understaffed, she cant issue me a refund because they dont see the refund button on their screen, and that she has to talk to the sales person *** (although everything is noted on my account and she actually read it out to me).I physically went to the store with my printed credit card statement to show the double charge. ******* said she cannot issue me a issue because she doesnt see the charge on her screen. Mind you, they know exactly what happened, they are aware I was charged twice and they told me to call back for a refund. I still have not received my refund and received 0 assistance from their staff. Absolutely pitiful.

      DO NOT BUY FROM VALUE . I ordered a couch august 18 . ONLY because there was an estimated delivery date of sep 15,2022 . Here we are almost november and no signs of my couch all they keep telling me is that they will keep me updated . When asked for my money back please keep in mind they will try to give you store credit !!!!! You will be back to square one on waiting and waiting on inventory they dont actually have . But still keep your money this is mo different than robbing someone . Theres way better furniture stores our there please go elsewhere!!! I will make a detailed ******* video to keep exposing this company . There are so many bad reviews on this company i upset i didnt read before purchasing.PLEASE learn from my mistake dont let this robbers take your hard earned money . Read their response they are ready to pretend they care but still keep your money and furiture dont fall for the apology lets just stop shopping here to get rid of this company

      The couch they sold me is under 2 years old. When you sit on the right side you feel like you are going to the floor. The left side was replaced less then 6 months ago, and the arm of the ****** is all rippled. When they replaced the left side, they told me it would be 2 weeks, when they did not get back with me, I called after a month. They told me they could not get part and it was bringing replaced. It took them 2 months to replace and did not call me with a date they just set one up. The did not even call me with the date they were coming.When I contacted them that the part, they had just replaced was bad, they said they would not do anything about it because it was over a year old even though the one part was not even 6 months old.

      Save your money and shop elsewhere!!!!!! Horrible customer service. They gave me broken/defective furniture then blamed me and the moving company, they suggested to me!! I couldn't sit on my furniture for 3 weeks until they sent another 3rd party company to fix it. This company is horribly run. The staff is rude, including corporate. I don't know how they're still in business. They don't offer delivery. They don't offer maintenance, only excuses and blame.

      This is probably the worst customer service and quality of items that Ive ever experienced. This all started back in September 2021, my mom and I went here to get a mattress, bed frame, and desk. We found ones we liked, placed the order, and we were told all the shipping dates.This is where it all goes down hill.The mattress was delivered a few weeks after purchase and then the desk and bed frame were supposed to be delivered in December of 2021. Then, they got delayed to February 2022. Then again, just a few days before delivery date. Then again, a week before the delivery day. So when they said it would be delivered in March 2022, I didnt even bother getting the room ready since it was being used as my bedroom and I had to work that day. I was very surprised when they showed up, they ended up shoving all the boxes in the hallway and leaving. After a couple of weeks (even though we did pay for them to assemble the furniture but they didnt because of the room situation) my dad and I put the bed frame together. We didnt put the desk together because its adjustable and didnt want to risk messing it up. We finally got a hold of someone to put the desk together in August 2022. Unfortunately, when the boxes were open and everything was out, there wasnt any hardware. No screws or anything to hold it together. The technician said he would order the parts and put it together when they came in. I gave it a month before I called and asked where they were. I was told I would get a call back on an update for the parts but I never got one. I called again while I was work but the wait was so long that I couldnt stay on the line. Finally today (after 40 minutes) I finally had an answer.I was told by a manager (no one gave me their names so Im sure theyll deny this) that it would ***********-12 WEEKS from when they ordered the parts. Not only that but apparently its common for them to take longer than 12 weeks. Please, do not shop here.

      If I can give this business 0 stars I would. This is the absolute worst company I have ever done business with. We place an order with them in July for a bedroom set and we receive a broken bed and no chest. They then ask us to bring the bed back, which is not our responsibility, but we did so anyway. The chest then gets delayed for MONTHS without them following up, only pushing the day back further. Now In OCTOBER, the tell us that they wont be selling the chest we originally bought and offer a discounted price for a bigger chest within the same set. After picking up the chest today, its completely Broken. I dont understand how a business can take pride in selling furniture that comes broken. After speaking with the manager ******, he then tells us that as long as we bring the chest back h*** give us the money back. We told him that we did not have the means to bring it back and would have to pay someone to take it. He proceeds to tell us that he would have to pay a delivery company to come pick it up and that it would not be possible. As a business that is your responsibility. I should not have to pay money out of my pocket to bring back something that I PAID FOR AND IS BROKEN FROM FACTORY! Ultimately we brought back to exchange for a new one. Since we had this experience we decided to open the new furniture there at the store. Guess what. BROKEN! The only thing they can do was apologize. After they took my money for the third time. Nobody should have to go through an experience like this. Do not do business with this company there are unprofessional, poor business practices and have low quality furniture.

      I have been going back and forth with customer support for VCF for weeks now. Their online chat support is useless and the in store staff is even worse. I need contact information for the manufacturer of a couch I bought from VCF and now need to have repaired. Im not asking for anything more than contact information and VCF refuses to provide that. Shameful the way they treat people. Not to mention the fact that less than 2 years after purchase a $2k couch is falling apart

      ***Avoid at all cost****If I could report one star, I would! As a travel nurse, my schedule is very strict and inflexible. I purchased a couch in the amount of $1710 from Value City on their website. I selected Saturday (my only day off this week) to pick up my couch with U-Haul and hire workers to meet at my apartment and unload/assemble the furniture. Upon unpacking, I noticed that my sectional with a love seat and ottomon were different colors! I called the store and coporate number to notify them of the mistake. I was told they would have to reorder the couch and it would be ready for pickup on Wednesday. As the delivery service is not available because I did not select it when completing my purchase. I informed both representatives that I basically work everyday within the week, and I utilized most of my day off managing the delivery of the couch and wasted money on a U-Haul/movers when the couch was incorrect. They then stated it is the consumers responsibility to inspect the couch before leaving (I am 54, 130lbs, how am I suppose to lift up a couch that was tripled wrapped in plastic and cardboard, that employees placed into my truck and did not notify me of this clause .) I replied, you are continuously stating consumer responsibility, but what about Value Citys responsibility to ensure that the product the consumer ordered is fulfilled correctly. Between the packaging at the warehouse and in store location where pick up took place, none of them are accountable but me? Throughout the entire encounter, there was nothing offered to rectify the problem but, I am sorry.Now I am coming out of pocket $400+ for expenses that could have been preventable if Value City was an upholding furniture store they claim to be. After obtaining the correct sectional set, I will no longer do business with value city nor my family members. I will also inform all of my colleagues of this horrible experience and poor customer service.

      To be quite honest, I wouldnt even give them a full star. A part on my recliner broke and it has taken over two years and I still havent received the replacement. The employees are hit or miss on their customer service. One employee suggested I put my broken corner piece in the basement to use. The very thought is tacky and a poor way of handling the situation. If a piece is broken and I fixable the company should do whatever it takes to get the furniture piece fixed within a timely manner. Upon my last call, I was told that their was yet another miscommunication between the store and supplier and my piece has yet to be ordered. Then was told the managers were too busy to take my call and handle this ongoing issue. I just want my couch fixed.

      I purchased a sectional reclining loveseat from Value city Furniture in July 2022. It is now September 16th and it was delivered yesterday and it was sent with two of the same recliners for the same side of the sectional. I called the store and the Manager was supposed to call me back and never did. I made repeated attempts to resolve the situation and they are not working with me to resolve the issue. I have 2/3 of a piece of furniture and they are now saying i have to wait another 7 weeks for the other recliner to arrive. They told me that the manufacturer has to make the part. I am just trying to resolve this and the store does not care. I asked to see if I could get a rush put on my order and they said that is not an option. I asked to be refunded for not receiving what I paid for and they said they could not do that. I have never received such poor customer service from a Company. It's as if they do not care, but they have taken my money in full from the moment the order was placed. :(
