We made a purchase of a love seat and sofa on 12/26/25. The sofa and love seat were in the clearance section which means buy as is. The love seat was working (the remote for reclining) when we made the purchase. Upon arrival to our home, the remote on the left-hand side does not work. We have been promised that this would be repaired, but to no avail we're still waiting. I have contacted the corporate office and continue to get the run around. I have made purchases from Value City in the past (not at this location) and have never experienced such disappointing services. I am demanding that this situation be rectified ASAP.American Signature Inc.

1 starWe purchased sofa online paying in full to Value City Furniture 2 months back. We were provided later delivery date. from last several weeks we get call from VCF every few days with new delivery date and new story. Finally we were told that our product is received and will be delivered. Just before a delivery date now they are saying its only partial. We will receive missing pieces after couple of months (May be). Customer service person Sahara bluntly tell us that we can just give you a dates no guarantee and you just wait for it infinitely. I am pretty sure they took money from lots of people beyond their capacity to deliver and now just scamming them by giving them partially deliveries. This a just legit way of fraud and scamming innocent customers who paid for the product and patiently waited for their product.

I recently had a terrible experience with Value City Furniture and will never be shopping here again. I ordered a couch online, and while the store initially told me Id qualify for a $200 promo after spending $1,000, they later claimed my purchase was excluded from top deals. ***** moved forward with the purchase anyway.The couch was scheduled for delivery on 1/29. On 1/28, I emailed to request rescheduling for the next date, but since it was after business hours, I didnt receive a response. Understandablebut there should be a way to contact someone for deliveries, when they are scheduled for the next day.On the morning of the delivery, I had no way to reach anyone for. I had already paid $180 for their 5-star delivery service. When the delivery driver arrived, I asked if rescheduling would be possible, & he assured me that it was no problem & that the delivery could easily be moved to Friday. Based on that, I called the store to confirm, only for them to tell me the soonest available date was Tuesdayand that Id have to pay another $100.Why should I pay an extra $100 when their own delivery driver told me it was no issue? Their response? Hes just a delivery driver. Well, how am I, the customer, supposed to know that? If their staff is giving incorrect information, thats on them, not me. I then asked them to just send the driver back so I could store the couch in my garage without unboxing. They refused, saying it was too late. At the end of the call, I asked if I could just cancel the order, and they said Yep and processed the cancellation with no hesitationlosing a $2,000+ sale over a $100 fee I escalated the issue to corporate, expecting some level of customer service, but they wouldnt do anything either.They had countless ways to make this situation right but chose not to. They could have waived the $100, adjusted the couch price to offset the fee, or found any other reasonable solution. Instead, they showed no care for loyal customers.American Signature Inc.

Purchased the week of 11/11/24. Delivery date for 12/3/24. I was notified the couch was delayed 1/16/25. It was then pushed up to 1/7/25. It was then pushed back again to 1/16/25, then again to 1/22/25. Confirmation text stating three items were being delivered. Arrive late in 1/22/25 to only have two deliveries. Delivery team said they forgot to load the third piece. Spoke with the manager ***** at the store where I purchased (cuyahoga falls) who stated to 1/22/25 there were approx 14 at the Columbus store and he felt confident they would be able to deliver the corner piece that week. Confirmed he would call me back that night. He didnt. I called the next day to report that there was a tear in the bottom of the couch, he wasnt in that day. They left how message to call, he didnt. Got confirmation from the canton store that the corner piece would be delivered 1/30/25 between ********p. Receive a call 1/29/25 that no its delayed again until 2/13/25. Call to complain again, they move up to 2/7/25 and offer 15%off. Reported the tear in the couch, they told me to call the other store. As I read these other reviews I cant help but think of the poor customer service staff probably get screamed at all day because of this. Poor poor poor systems I will never order from this company again and plan to share with all of my friends and family.American Signature Inc.

I had purchased a glass dinette table with 6 chairs in 2023 from Value city. I also was purchased the warranty plan for $400. So long story short I was denied because I made a claim on my table which the glass had a long line on it, also underneath the chair the sprang detached from the bottom. I was told my claim was denied because I had multiple issues.American Signature Inc.

Order was over a month late and them came damaged. They put you on hold even when no one is available to answer phones. After days of trying to contact customer service I was told they have to come to your house -schedule a day off work - to have them look at a damaged item that was just ordered and still in the box, before they would approve an even exchange (if they cant fix it. I ordered a new piece of furniture and expected a new not repaired piece. They would not even take accept pictures to verify the damage. Very poor customer service! Item ordered. Says in stock. Set up delivery date. Come to pick it up. Now its no longer available. No call to inform us of this. Rented a truck. Now we have no furniture cause we got rid of the old. I agree with most people that the sales people are great then after that all lies and frustration. I purchased two recliners in November and told would be delivered on 12/27 fine I can wait. That got pushed to 1/3 and only one got delivered cause the other one showed up at the warehouse damaged. Told they would redeiliver on the 17th. That didnt happen as I was told did not make it on the truck. I went to the store and they said it was confirmed to be delivered on the 23rd. No call so I called and spoke with manager who said it would be March 3rd. I asked where my recliner actually was if they had given me all the dates of deliveries that keep getting pushed out do you have the recliner or not? He could only suggest me come in and pick something else out. I am canceling my order and go somewhere else. This is totally unexceptable! I have gotten rid of our other furniture and have been sitting in a gravity chair since December and they tell me my recliner is not coming now till March!!!! I am writing to express my frustration and disppointment with Value City Furniture in ******,**. I purchsaed over $7,000 in the store on December 28, 2024. Unfortunately, the company who Value City Furnitaure recommended had broken over half of my order and had damaged my Walls, Staircase rails, Ceiling, and Furniture and Did Not assemble half of the furniture once it had arrived to my home. DO NOT BUY ANY FURNITURE from AMERICAN Signature/ Value City Furniture which is the same company. Poor ***************** and alot of aplology but NO ACTION to resolve the issues. I will have to take further action against and the delivery company and Value City *********** I wish that I had read the reviews before buying from this company. Please do your homework before buying furniture with any company and take seriously who gets your money and review customers complaints and ******************** website before buying.
