Nationwide Pet Insurance is trying NOT to pay any claims. I saw on the news that they want to drop ALL Pet Insurance but that is who my employer uses so I am stuck with them but pay a hefty monthly payment. Now they are trying to deny a $500 bill for my dog when she was really sick with her stomach. They diagnosed her with gastritis and possible parasites which she did NOT have but denied both claims saying they are not covered. This is a SCAM on behalf of their pet insurance NOT TO PAY ANY CLAIMS. They are hoping I drop them because they do not want to cover any longer per 6ABC on the news last week. This is a rip off and not fair to me paying a monthly premium which is not cheap. I highly recommend that nobody use Nationwide Pet Insurance because they will deny all claims just not to pay. My vet is disputing but why do they want to cause their paying customers stress. They are despicable!

Never again!! Dropping our pet insurance plan (the only one being dropped) after paying over 600 a month and blaming inflation and rising costs but they raised the price every year!!! Don’t t let them fool you, none of us have been offered an alternative by them and NOW they have pre existing they did not have when signing up but of course no insurance will take them now!!!! How do you do that and sleep at night!!! I would be cautious getting this insurance for ANYTHING now if they can drop that quick with zero repercussions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had Whole Pet with Wellness insurance form my dog since she was 6 weeks old. She is now 8 years old. Last year she was diagnosed with cancer and it was quickly taken care of and no further treatment except periodic rechecks for 1 year. There has been no reoccurrence. It is now time for my insurance renewal and I am told they are no longer offering the Whole Pet with Wellness insurance and they will not accept her into a medical coverage only plan based upon her medical history. What's the purpose of having insurance if you can't use it? Stay away from Nationwide!

Nationwide is absolute trash. The only time you can contact them is if you’re paying them. You can kiss anything else goodbye. I’m calling to verify insurance coverage dates & can’t get in touch with an agent because the automated system won’t let me get past giving them a policy number that I don’t have. I called the actual agent’s office near me right before close & they put me on hold until 5pm and hung up the phone. I called back & was automatically directed to the callback voicemail.

They have literally sucked $28,000 from me in 5 years and now that I need help with work on my home that is outside of my control they refuse to help Nationwide will never be on your side you're better off going with another company that will actually help in your time of need. I agree with all of the previous reviews it's a big scam. I am definitely immediately changing companies it's baffling that a company literally can suck that much money from you and not do anything to help improve your home when it's major damage needs to be fixed it shouldn't matter when the home was built if you pay insurance for them to help in matters of fixing things. I'm disabled I'm literally making only 60% of what I was getting when I was working I don't have any means to fix this on my own so I guess my home just goes to **** because I've paid the insurance company set amount and they are going to do nothing about it because their policy pretty much works its way around paying for anything so do yourself the favor and go somewhere else run somewhere else for homeowners insurance because this company is not the place to go for they are not on your side as their slogan claims without again is just propaganda for them to get you to go through them literally when I sign my policy with them they covered all this great stuff but when it comes down to it there's their little loopholes so they don't have to pay for anything so their company just profits off of you and profits off of you wow that will end at the end of this year when my policy is up with them and from what I read they put you in insurance jail so yeah I might be transferring before then because no company should be able to put you in insurance jail for trying to get help with your home when that's what insurance companies are supposed to do right when your house is bad and you have health insurance you go to the doctor and the health insurance helps pay for your health problem Dental same thing car insurance same thing.

After 26 years with Nationwide, received a non-renewal notice via email. 26 years not a single claim for car or home owners insurance. Customer loyalty doesn't work with this organization. Guess nationwide should change slogan to bring on your side only in the good times..

I would give zero if I could! My pup and I have been with Nationwide for 8 years. My premium started at $79.00 a month and the rates did rise yearly, as expected. My bill last month was $181.00. This month is was $319.00. That is an increase of 76%!!! I called customer service and they said beacuse they do not offer that plan to people anymore and the rates relect that. So they are pricing me out of my grandfathered plan with $100.00 deductable. Not good business. After 8 years you have lost my business and my trust. Shame on you Nationwide.

Make that make sense FULL COVERAGE WAS 180 A MONTH AND NOW THEY WANT ALMOST 400 A MONTH PLUS A 527$ DOWN PAYMENT AND I HAVE A CLEAN RECORD THATS STRAIGHT UP EXTORTION
