      Nationwide is an unethical company. We have been paying very high premiums for pet insurance for the last 8 years and now that are dog is “elderly” we recieved a letter telling us they will not renew our policy.. not because of her but because of inflation and vet prices…. Well that is why we have a policy!!! Now if we are to try to get another insurance, anything she’s been to the doctor for will be pre existing and not covered. They have droppped 300,000 policy holders in the time they need it most. Its like the weather channel reporting an incoming hurricane and dropping everyone in that state… its absolutely deplorable

      I have had Nationwide Pet Insurance for 5 different pets since 2016. Every year they have raised my premium on all of my pets policies, some even going up over 100% a year. I have kept paying it and not complained because if anything happens to my pets I will have peace of mind and be able to do everything in my power to take care of them. I have never missed a payment on any policy. I work in veterinary medicine and have **** Nationwides praises to clients. Today I got a letter that the Whole Pet with Wellness plan that I've had for years is no longer profitable for them and they are not renewing my pets policies after this period expires. The thing about pet insurance that makes this so unfair is that no pet insurance covers pre-existing conditions, so any medical issue they have had their whole lives will not be covered under any new insurance plan they get. I have done the right thing by my pets for years and years only to have the rug pulled out from under me by a multi million dollar company. This is why people don't trust pet insurance. I don't know what the answer is but this isn't it. I will never recommend Nationwide to anyone ever again.

      Informed to file a complaint.
      Complaint to the missed package with Smart Home device. Is there a tracking?
      Complaint to the automated phone. Directed me to the wrong place.
      Complaint that it went to de-escalate rather than a complaint process, so the higher management who made these policies didn’t hear about it.
      Smart home device never received and this phone rep told me the discount was removed
      Automated phone directed me to smart ride
      I tried to reach my physical agent but no success.
      How Nationwide training the representative is poor.
      Having this automated system will frustrate people more and not getting things done.
      To de-escalating rather that taking a formal complaint.
      So the top management has decided to turn away listening to their customers and let the dissatisfaction builds.

      I think nationwide is a scam. How can you charge your customers under a "claim" for calling and asking questions when it comes to the policy that they are paying for?
      Nationwide will then put the "claims" against said customer and then tell them they won't renew the policy leaving the customer in a position not to be insured by anyone. Because they have ow been put into "insurance jail" and wont any other insurance company help them.
      What is the point in having insurance if you can't call and ask the people you're paying for help?
      I give Nationwide ZERO STARS THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T WANT TO HELP.
      WHATS THE PURPOSE OF PAYING FOR THE SERVICES IF YUR GOING TO BE PENTALIZED FOR IT?
      LOOKING AT ALL OF THE ONE STAR REVIEWS I DONT SEE HOEW THEY HAVE A A+ RATING WITH THE BBB!!!

      I put in a request almost 6 weeks ago to take out loan on my retirement plan. Name was put on the check wrong. The check bounced back from my bank. Three weeks ago They canceled the bank Deposit to Mail a check. Called today and the ticket that was put in to mail a check hasn’t even been reviewed and told it could take up to another three weeks. About to make my third payment in a couple days on a loan, I don’t have and by the time I get it will be up to almost 5 payments on a loan I don’t have. I asked for the loan because I needed it instead I’m paying out more money for something that might not even come at this point. I can’t get a real answer other than we can try to put a new ticket in. I will be looking for a new company to go through after this.

      Please beware. I received a letter saying Non Renewal from Nationwide Pet Insurance saying due to inflation.Ive had both my Maltese with Nationwide since they were since were both puppies now one is 10 1/2 yrs and the other one is 5 1/2 years. They said I would have to re enroll any preexisting will not be covered. This is awful.I called customer service and she told me I had to wait 6 weeks and then reapply as a new client and their pre existing will not be covered if they indeed accepted us. She said most probably will be denied . Now if I get pet insurance every pet insurance will deny the pre existing. Im willing to pay a higher premium. Im currently Paying $1200 a year just for one of the dogs .

      My name is ******* ****** and I have been with nationwide over five years, they need to take that commercial out because nationwide is not on your side, every six months my premiums go up, you can never get n touch with your so called agent, and finally they say that you get a three day grace period, my bill is due the 16th of each month I paid it on the 19th and they charge me $15.00 , well I’m seeking to take my business somewhere else

      I just went through their website and gave all of my information requested to get auto insurance. I haven't had an accident in over 3 years and I have a high credit score. Nationwide said they couldn't help me and referred me to ****** and ********. Ok, if you don't want my money, then that's fine.
