      Nationwide will try to scam you any chance you get. I had a workers comp audit and after they finished they tried to sneak a $14,000 "surcharge" out of my account. It was on automatic payments so if I didn't catch that it was happening it would have come out of my account. My company is a small HVAC company consisting of myself and one employee so $14,000 to the company is a lot of money. Zero stars if I could and I will never forget that they tried to do this.

      Nationwide insurance is a joke to work with. We recently purchased a home and are in the process of remodeling. Inspector was sent out to the home and we were given 3 business days to install new soffit, new fascia, repair or replace siding and clean up all debris and construction materials from around the home. I took work off for the 3 days attempting to replace everything but could not find enough material in stock anywhere to comply with their 3 business day deadline. I reached out to my agent in an attempt to extend the deadline and was told I could not extend. Now I will be moving my home owners policy, 3 vehicles, 2 boats, and 2 trailers to a different company all cause they are unwilling to work with you and unreasonable.
      This was a horrible experience and they wasted my time, money and time off work. I would not recommend to anyone!

      Nationwide is a heartless ruthless company that has no compassion. They are impacting countless families with their callous homeowner insurance actions and decisions. . They dont deserve even a rating of 1. Please avoid doing any business with them if at all possible

      As a dissatisfied long-term customer, I regret to say that my experience with Nationwide, including their insurance and financial services, has been extremely disappointing. The lack of effective communication, poor customer service, and the apparent disregard for addressing a simple mistake have led me to lose all faith in this company.
      I am deeply disheartened by the level of care I have received, especially considering I had intended to expand my business with them in the near future. With the numerous policies I currently hold, including coverage for two vehicles, two businesses, rental insurance, a 401(k), and life insurance, I had expected a higher standard of service.
      Regrettably, as a result of this experience, I have made the decision to sever ties with Nationwide. Furthermore, I intend to share my negative experience across all social media platforms, as well as with many friends and family members, to raise awareness about the shortcomings of this company. I hope that this will serve as a cautionary tale for others who are considering Nationwide for their insurance or financial needs.
      I firmly believe that there are superior companies in the market that not only explain their services comprehensively but also genuinely prioritize the well-being of their clients. I will be encouraging my family members who are also Nationwide customers to consider transferring to a more reputable insurance provider that upholds their promises and offers transparent, reliable services.
      In conclusion, I advise anyone seeking insurance or financial services to look elsewhere. There are numerous companies that are far more trustworthy and dedicated to assisting their clients, rather than engaging in practices that seem designed to exploit and inconvenience them.

      Awful company. They dropped my homeowners policy for no reason. I have not made a claim. I have told everyone I know how terrible they are and will continue to do so.

      I am the administrator for my company's 401(k) plan and since we enrolled with Nationwide last year, I have nothing but issues. Our Account Manager is nice and tries to help, but he rarely knows the answers to questions and has to go hunt down information, to which I receive a response a couple days later. Their website works fully maybe 50% of the time, they have poor communication to administrators and plan sponsors, and they have VERY POOR onboarding for new clients. We have nothing but issues and even though I've been asking for more information about annual census / compliance processes for weeks now, they haven't provided anything except a little 3 minute video. So here we are two days before the deadline and I'm having issues importing information AGAIN. It's not my first time having issues like this. We'd be transferring our plan now if it wasn't such a paperwork nightmare. I do not recommend Nationwide.

      I just cancelled my nationwide pet insurance today, I was paying $49 - $56 a month for premium plan for my cat for the last 4 years, they increased my premium to $143 a month WITHOUT even informing, they kept charging my credit card on file. When I called them they said they could not refund me because it was set to "auto payments". My cat is healthy, rarely goes to the vet and past claims I've submitted have gotten rejected because it was "preventative". Ridiculous, I will be switching to a different company. This company is a scam. I will make sure I inform my friends and family to not use this company for anything.

      NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE!
      I was talked into getting an annuity with nationwide. DON’T DO IT!!!!
      The rules were misleading and I found out the hard way. I was told that I had access to the profits as the annuity grew. That’s misleading. You only have access to a percentage of that interest earned each year. 7% each year. Not a calendar year either. If you need to take more than 7%, there are fees. LARGE FEES!!!!
      I even called to ask. No one ever said; you’re not a 365 days yet or you might be over your limit. They just took the fees.
      After more research into Annuities. Almost every person I spoke with all said the same thing….
      The only ones making money off annuities is the person selling them and the company that owns it. How true.

      The Crismore Nationwide Insurance Agency
      The only thing that this insurance company is good at is raising your automobile insurance premiums , without giving you any kind of notice or reason why. I have had auto insurance with this company for over 15 years.
      They pretty much increased my premiums every year. I recently called to cancel my automobile insurance and all they had to say was OK. They did not have the decency to ask why , or what my concerns were , they just said OK. As far as Matthew (owner) goes , you never really have any contact with him, when you take out insurance with his company. Everything is handled by one of his employees. As far as the automobile insurance goes , I found the same amount of coverage with another well-known insurance agency at less than 1/2 of what I was paying Nationwide. Check around you could be saving alot of money.

      Nationwide is definitely not on your side. After over 24 years, my homeowners insurance was suddenly canceled. I filed a claim and they sent their person to look at it. Of course it was denied. I asked to see the pictures and they said no it belongs to them. Horrible company. I want my money back! 0 star rating if I could
