      Had there homeowners insurance for over 10 years, never filed a claim. Had roof replaced in July, 2023. Complete tear down. Received a letter in September 2023 stating my policy would not be renewed due to: "Risk is ineligible due to your dwelling riif is in poor condition based on aerial imagery taken within the last 12 months"! Really, unbelievable. I spoke with an agent, *****, who proceeded to tell me I can continue coverage after I have my roof inspected, and to send them a letter stating my roof is in good condition. Then she had the audacity to tell me I can save money if I bundle their auto insurance! I refuse to use them for anything as I am in the process of finding another homeowner insurance company. Total ** move. Very disappointed with their treatment. My coverage was always paid on time and never filed a claim. If you want subpar treatment, this is the company for you!

      I have Nationwide Pet Insurance and I am enrolled in there plan that covers major medical and wellness issues which cost $43/Month. Advertised on there website they show examples of different scenarios of how much a veterinarian bill can cost and how much they cover. All three scenarios illustrate that this plan covers 100% of the bill. My mini Australian Shepard unfortunately had to be hospitalized in which our medical bill ended up being around $13,000. Nationwide has only covered up to around $3,000. After they sell you the plan thinking your fully covered for instances like this, I called to question my claim and they said based on the type of issue your pet has they cover only a limited amount per year. For example, I admitted him into the hospital for 3 days and I submitted my claim. My mini Australian Shepard health started declining again and we had to admit him in the hospital again. The second claim they did not cover it because I used up my limited amount allowance the first time. This insurance shows false advertisements and you do not get what you pay for. I do not recommend this insurance at all to anyone who has a pet.

      Never Again! Hail Storm came and screwed up the house! They sent 3rd party people out twice to take pictures so an adjuster a 1000 miles away can make determinations off pictures and started the lowballing from the start. The whole claim process has been a nightmare! How many days off or out of the office does a claims adjuster get( I want that job). Ghosting phone calls and emails is what they do best. Storm was in April,it's now September and work is being done but depreciation payments are like pulling teeth...never know what to tell contractors when they are getting paid...there is so much more that I could write about this whole ordeal but Nationwide wasn't on my side ....they sent me a renewal on my home owners insurance for 4400.00......I was paying 2200.00....it was a hail storm! It's a non chargeable claim...does it sound non chargeable to you...be informed and buyer beware.

      Just raised my home owners insurance by 600.00. Ive been a customer for 20 years both home and auto. As a result my mortgage goes up due to that for escrow.i refinanced 2 years ago to lower mortgage payment to get ready for retirement. Now it will be higher unless i pay 1270 toward projected escrow. Nationwide says its due to climate change/hurricanes etc. I've lived here 27yrs and not one in my area. I've not made one claim in all this time. Plus their deductible for hurricaine damage is 9000.00...another company is 2200. They certainly aren't on my side! I will be looking to switch asap after this policy period ends. The least the could do is try to lower it which was not even an option.....

      Sept 5 marks a Month I have been waiting for my refund check from Nationwide. I have cancelled my policy and they owe me a refund remind you I never received my money. They sent me a miles tracking machine renewal paper all that seems to have no problem in making it to my home. That refund seems to be lost in the wind. My next review Ima be dropping names. Now I was told the check was never cashed really no one is holding on to check that's stolen. Just SAD.

      I received full “custody” of my home 08/2022. Sold it 01/2023. They will not cancel my policy without ex signature. Which of course is impossible to obtain. Quit claim will not suffice, sold paperwork will not suffice.

      Well, if I could give negative stars, I would start there but I can assure you they are NOT on your side and I can also assure that I am going to locate and provide the same message to other offices and affiliates after being told there will be zero financial support with a catastrophic flood we experienced in ************ * ********. I am out $15 k and am not near a flood plane. Their adjusters read off a queue card that is basically a robotic, non empathetic, "go pound sand" themed message. Ipointed out my position on the completely ambiguous 40 page policy, but it was obvious from the start, they just don't care. Not a shred of empathy, run, don't walk from them. I am so incredibly disappointed as I escalated and tried extremely hard to maintain a professional demeanor. My only recourse is to now try to protect others on as many places as possible. I really tried to work with them.

      i moved in in april and had a hail strom i just got my insurance claim check in august all for it to be written wrong! wth? i thought this was a business i keep getting hung up on everytime i reach out and i hate this place

      Nationwide travel claims are the absolute worst. Not only can you never talk to a real person they do not return calls. We bought their insurance for a vacation and filed a claim for travel interruption. We sent everything that they requested and still are dragging their feet on an open and shut claim. If you need to buy travel insurance this is definitely not the company that will be there for the customer!!!
