      Nationwide just went up on my insurance $145.00 a month. The reason was accidents in my area they always said that when I lived in the city when they went up. I moved to the country there is only 2500 people that live in our town. And they told me it was the age. I just turned 64 I was a whole year older. That is about the most stupid thing I have ever heard. We had no wrecks or tickets. I found cheaper insurance and they didn't ever ask me about wrecks or tickets or anything about my area or my age.

      The absolute worst. You can never get in touch with your adjustor, via phone or email. Phone always goes directly to voice mail, leave a message, no response. Everything happens at a snail's pace. This is why I changed insurance. I never want to have to deal with nationwide again. They also overcharged. Auto insurance was double what I am paying now. Don't waste your time with this company and you will save your sanity.

      I have been with Nationwide Insuramce for my auto coverage for over two years. I have never filed a claim and nor had any citations and they were paid by automatic deduction every month. I changed my bank account and forgot to switch this deduction to the new account. I received a cancellation notice and called my agent. After speaking with the company, he indicated they would not reinstate my policy. It is ridiculous that I made a simple mistake and cannot reinstate my policy. DO NOT recommend! Worst customer service ever!!!

      This insurance is not good at all. When my car got stolen and yes it was recovered, they basically dragged their feet and I had to do most of the calling and leg work. I don't understand if I'm paying this company. Nationwide by your side is a joke. Then I called in late June to see if they can change my due date, the rep said it wasn't a problem and was suppose to do so but something happen where he canceled my policy. I was driving around without insurance for a month not knowing that my policy was canceled until today when I checked that the payment wasn't taken. So I called and was informed that when i got the bad news. I went with geico and they gave me a much better rate than I had with nationwide. Beware!!!

      I would give zero stars if I could. I pay insurance for 4 vehicles every month. I also bundle home and umbrella insurance with Nationwide. Yet, when on the rare occasion I need their help, they FAIL me badly. My need for roadside assistance was 30-60 minutes, then extended another 30 minutes, then cancelled and a new company gave me 60-90 minutes. What should have been 1 hour lasted for at 3 hours and I’m still standing waiting for assistance. When I call, they put me through to people who can’t hear clearly and with delayed response, which tells me they are overseas. This is no right. We pay and pay, yet never get a modicum of decent service on the rare occasions it is needed. SUPER FRUSTRATING!!!

      I have never experienced disguise with an insurance company as I have Nationwide. My brother got disfigured with his face and eyes. at one of their insured home. Nationwide refused to pay even for the med pay for my brother. The med pay was only $3000 from the homeowners insurance policy. The adjusters ****** and ***** ****** are the worst adjusters, in opinion to work with. In my opinion, go to any other insurance company than Nationwide. They are not on your SIDE! I would give them a zero if I could!!!!!

      My father took out life insurance policies for my brother and I 30 years ago. Last year, my father died and I called to transfer the policies into our names. Customer service on three different occasions told me what form I needed to fill out, and they were going to email me the form. Also, they would send a letter to my address, instead of my dad's address, where everything is being sent despite having sold the house. A couple hours later each time, I received no email, none in my primary nor spam nor promotion folders. No email.
      I called back after the third time and told them that I didn't receive an email after an hour. How long does it take to send an email?
      So then the second representative told me that someone would reach out to me in 3-5 business days, and no email or letter to MY address would be sent to me, as they can only send letters to the address on file, my dad's house which was sold over a month ago.
      This is two different stories from two different representatives, and aren't relaying any substantive information to move this policy forward from my dad's ownership into ours.
      It shouldn't take 3-5 business days to get back to me by phone, much less send me correspondence to my house which, it sound like, they aren't doing according to the second person I talked to.
      They are holding my policy hostage and charging me the interest on the deductible due that they won't let me pay.
      Nationwide is NOT on your side.

      Absolutely terrible customer service. Over a week old claim submission with zero contact attempts to repair my vehicle that was driven by your insurer.
      Terrible experience. I drive 30 minutes everyday to commute to work. Good luck getting your car repaired if someone carrying this insurance, hits you.

      They are not fair to the people that incur car damages caused by their clients. My car was hit by their client and they will only pay for aftermarket parts even though the part damaged are *** parts. I now have to pay out of my pocket the difference to have my vehicle repaired to its original state, *** parts! this was not my fault but I am being penalized for it. I contacted their customer service and they were no help! how is this fair to the person who incurred the damage.
      Nationwide is not on my side!!!
