The damage to my Ford Fusion car was resulted from a faulty party that rear-ended me in September 2022. That car was insured by ********. Nationwide (NW) was supposed to pay me all cost to repair/recover my damages and be reimbursed. by ********. nevertheless Nationwide has been acting horribly, by delays, conflicting actions and so far left me at total loss, anguished and frustrated, and that continued for several months. It has been more than 3 months and I have complained to many of Nationwide staff including:
      ********* ****** **** **** **** ********* ******* ****** ***** *******, regarding handling of my claim (*********) to recover damages but their lies and poor responses continued.
Damages caused to me for rental cost, staff delays, deliberate and intentional interference with salvage car title process, unacceptable errors, stress and anxiety.
      Total damages to be paid to me: 1,500 +3,097 + 5,000 = $9,597
1- NW to Pay me to recover for all rental cost from ********** *** ***** (NW forced me to use ******* ********* as certified repair shop which was supposed to repair my car at no cost) - What is due today without condition: The rental: $3,097.00, Receipt was provided to both NW and ********, even ******** told me NW should submit it to ******** directly but NW did not.
1- 6 hrs of my time for Jan 17 waste of time going to DMV when NW failed to timely communication for submission of status to DMV not reported as Salvage from Nov 2022 until Jan 17, 2023: lost time in productivity and stress suffered= $1,500.
3- NW is responsible for all delays, stress and anxiety inconvenience associated with undue interference, and committing attempted theft and fraud by trying to take ownership of my car in the process. This amounts to at least $5,000 in damages. NW staff directed TD financial to issue title to NW, not of me (actual owner of the car who had paid TD). It took weeks to revert it, undue stress and anxiety and longer rental.
      Regards
      *****

Nationwide is my worst experience about the insurance company. I purchased my home insurance on last November 2022 and they contacted me for inspection. I scheduled inspection with them at 3 p.m and during those time, I didn't even cook or clean or do anything in my house because I'm ready for them to come over anytime. Unfortunately after 5 hours waiting which means 8 p.m at night, I decided to have dinner because I was starving and exhausted of waiting. Inspection company which name's ******* and their inspector contacted me a week later and said her car was broke. I understand that but how her car broke but she couldn't use her phone to call me to cancel her appointment instead of contacting me a week later to reschedule appointment. I and my family were so upset because we wasted our time on her instead of going to work and getting things done. This time we don't want to waste our time again on her next appointment she might not show up for and come up with another excuse. A month later, I got mail from Nationwide to cancel my insurance. I called them and explained the situation, hopefully they could give me another inspection company because I'm done with the way ******* company work. First thing, the representative lady said that inspector tried to call me 8 times but I didn't pickup my phone. Inspection company lied about that and the inspector never mentioned to them about I scheduled appointment with her but she never show up. I was patient explaining them the situation. They asked me which name of inspection company because base on my area, the representative got 5 different inspection companies. I told them I don't remember but base on underwriting record had say I called 8 times, she can go back the logbook and figure out which one Nationwide gave out my contact number. She did it and found ******* company is the one that contacted me. I was nicely asking her if she could give me different inspection company due to bad experience

The house roof was damaged due to hailstorm and high wind that happened on 12 July 2022.
I can never understand how two people can be so far off - no hailstorm and wind damage by Nationwide’s Inspector and the Engineer and three reputable licensed and registered reputable independent Roofing Contractors and the HOA confirmed the damaged due to hailstorm and high wind and recommend full roof replacement. This outcome was based on pictures shared with Nationwide and that speak the truth.
It is an irony that the Inspector and the Engineer saw the roof damaged and the 6 houses across the street and next-door neighbor roof replaced by the same storm but disagree that my house has NO roof damage. These houses were built by the same Builder in the year my house was built, that is, workmanship and the materials are the same. Their Insurance Company fully paid for the roof replacement. The only difference is that they did not go through Nationwide, a horrible company!
I wrote various letters to the Nationwide’s President and Executive Vice President and other Senior Staff, but they do not care. To date the Claim is NOT resolved and they have closed the Claim.
I was discriminated against, humiliating and unfair treatment given by Nationwide Insurance Company of Columbus, Ohio. These actions have caused humiliation, pain, and emotional injury and that left me in a worse position than I was before filing the Claim. We bought Insurance Policy with the promise of reliability, responsiveness, and quality but have received none of this.
The Company do not realize situation and don't care what their customers have to go through.
Nationwide Insurance should be held responsible and accountable for their despicable act. The rich and powerful Company should not stampede the common American folks from main street like self. Do yourself a huge favor and never go through them! It is a biased and unprofessional Company, and I won't recommend it to anyone.

One star is the lowest I could rate unfortunately and they don't even deserve that. I don't have them as my insurance, but I have had to deal with Nationwide for a car wreck that was not my fault. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!! They have the absolute worst customer service!!! The person over your claim NEVER answers the phone or calls you back and they NEVER respond to emails. Please don't ever use this company and if you do use their insurance then you're better off dropping them and finding someone better. Nationwide is definitely NOT on your side.

NATIONWIDE IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE.
Everything is good until you have a claim. I'm paying for things I'm not getting! They took 2 weeks to approve my rental after my vehicle was at the body shop. They won't answer phone, voicemail or email. Even if you call the manager he won't answer either. They've totaled out my vehicle and won't pay for fair market value because adjuster put in my vehicle information wrong and even made a mistake on my zipcode. Their comparable values are 500 miles away and even in other states! I asked the adjuster to please fix her mistakes and she refused. They want to pay me 10,000 less than what the vehicle is worth. Simply put, they're just giving me the runaround making me wait so ill get impatient and take their lowball offer. Also, I've only had the rental car less than a week and now they want it back because they totaled out the vehicle even though I pay for 30 day rental per incident. I am seeking legal representation at this point. I really feel like they have mishandled the claim from the start.

I’ve had nationwide for years when recently my tire popped off and they put I had a flat tire. So tow trucks kept coming and leaving because they didn’t have the right tools to pick my car off the ground. I’ve been waiting on a tow truck for 12 hours!!!!

A sewage pipe burst in my house on 11/16/22 and caused significant damage to my home. My claim adjuster told us he was negotiating with our repair company. All of a sudden a check shows up in the mail for an amount far under what was agreed to with our repair company and the claim was closed without my knowledge. The repair company will not repair my home for what the check is worth and after multiple attempts to contact the claim adjuster and the claim adjuster's manager through phone and email no contact has been made. We are now 3 months since the initial damage and we cannot repair our home. It's clear that they are dodging our calls and emails in hopes we will simply pay for the thousands of dollars of damage out of pocket. It does not feel like Nationwide is on my side.

I used Nationwide travel insurance and 6 months later am still playing email tag with the company. They continue to request the same receipts that I've previously sent in. It's clear they don't want to pay out on the claim and their customer service associates aren't helpful.

My house flooded. Nationwide sent a plumber to my house and he said my septic system had failed. Nationwide put me in a hotel for almost two months. I had to continue to pay all my living expenses like I was at home and buy expenses living for living out of a hotel. One of my vehicles was in the shop and I needed a new battery for the other one so I held off on taking care of either one of them because I live on a fixed income. After they completed their investigation, they informed me that they do not cover septic systems. They will not be paying me anything towards my claim! My house is separate from my septic system if they want to get technical about it! What about it flooding and sewer backing up in my tub!! They need to change their logo!! Nationwide is not on your side!! They are on their side!! Every month they were going up on my premiums and for what!?!
