      My account was sent to a collection agency and I was unaware however I was making my payments directly to Klarna. Klarna began sending my payments to the collection agency. The collection agency sent me a PIF letter after I made another payment. This is when I noticed my account went to a collection agency as the collection agency emails were going to my spam folder. I contacted both the collection agency and Klarna. I then began to get the run arounds from both the collection agency and Klarna. Klarna provided me with a case number to have my request expedited. Even though my account was expedited, my account was not handled poorly and my case was closed as they representative with Klarna told me the same as all the others. According to Klarna's app and the collection refunds are to be done in 14 business days and they do not report to a credit agency either. I am now at 30 days and it should not be hard to find an over payment of $91.63.

      Absolutely garbage outfit, no problems taking your money but if you return an item you might as well kiss your money goodbye! I made a purchase thru Klarna and had returned the item that was unopened/unused and still in the original packaging...been nearly 8 months and still have not received a refund. They claim the return is under dispute "merchandise was damaged by me" again item was still in the original packaging and never opened!!!

      I do not recommend Klarna to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, they withhold information, and fail to follow through with customer issues. I don't usually utilize BBB for companies but I do not want anyone else to deal with the trouble I have had with this company.

      Never had an issue with Klarna. Was able to purchase things and as I purchased and then paid on time my purchase power went up. Soon I ran into an issue with sending an item back and them still taking money. Went through customer service, got that money returned. A payment was coming up and I chose to change the payment date (which you can). Paid it off and when I went to purchase something else some weeks later, they had completely cut me off. Everytime I tried to make a purchase it was declined over and over. Customer service was of no use. I had recently downloaded the app back onto my phone. I looked at my purchase power which was around $500 at one point. It is now down to $73. No use in ordering anything under that amount because no purchase will go through. I never missed a payment. And yet still they barred me from using there service. Just straight trash. I'm sticking with ******** and *******. I wish more online stores that I like to shop at took those two instead of thus wretched Klarna.

      Absolutely not. ZERO STARS. i’d rather give my money to Afterpay. you have got to be kidding me….. I used this service to buy some things from sephora. returned one of the items still had to pay Klarna because technically “they still paid for the item”. what the heck sense does that make? i reach out to customer service showing them a receipt that i returned it and they STILL charge me. Mind you this isn’t the first time this has happened. the first time it happened my receipt was misplaced but honestly why borrow money from these people and when i return something i still have to pay them for the borrowed money??????? NO WAY. i’m just not buying it from this scam of a company.

      I made two payments towards a purchase- and only got refunded for one- the retailer processed my return on February 11- we are now match 2 - contacted klarna customer chat 3 times - they all say it got it resolved and the last contact the agent “escalated “ my issue- and I have not heard from them or have I seen my refund!
      Sent then screen shots of my bank account and you can see it on their app that two payments were deducted and only one refunded. Will never use them again

      Made an order with Klarna for over $1,000. I had to purchase a gift card. I tried to use the gift card with the site and they cancelled my order and now Klarna refuse to refund my money or issue the gift card back.

      Rip off, great at taking your payments in four equal amounts, but when you want to make monthly payments you are flat out denied. Even tho they have all the required bank info.

      I got a notification via text that my "Klaran payment failed" for $16. This was odd as I did not make a purchase recently. I logged onto Klarna and saw that someone tried to spend $65 on aliexpress with an expired card on my account, in which I immediately flagged this and contacted customer service. I couldn't change my password so they froze my account and would have someone email after the investigation was done. 2 days later I get an email stating that no fraudulent activity was found and payments will resume. Clearly they did not do a thorough investigation to see who even purchased something on my account or what location it was purchased from. Someone clearly got into my account and the security of Klarnas app is GAR
      BAGE. My cards and banking data are not at risk because of this. This needs to be fixed immediately or I will have to close my Klarna account permanently as I cannot afford to lose my personal data to some low life hacker because Klarna takes zero responsibility for their lack of security or care.

      Klarna dispute policy is horrible I have never experienced such unprofessionalism before. Made purchase 11-17–23 through their app for ****** $169.07 however it never processed at all on ****** end. Klarna advised me that ****** switched to gift card instead one-time cards now, however the gift card from Klarna never processed so ****** charge my debt card accordingly which was listed on my ****** account for the full amount. Klarna also took $42.26 11-17-22 for first installment, so I have talked to several representatives at Klarna and provided with all my documentation from my bank and ****** showing it been paid and their gift card never registered. Still nothing they keep saying contact ****** should be gift card balance showing, nothing showing cause it was never issued. I’m literally over it I have dispute charge with my financially institution for my $42.26 and will be contacting my attorney in regard to this matter something so simple has turned in horrible situation due to Klarna doesn’t care about their customers in my opinion.
