I have attempted on multiple occasions to cancel my service because of unilateral increases in costs and receiving harassing emails about my payments for several weeks after they have cashed my check. My attempt to cancel started with an email on January 24, 2023. Here is the email that I sent:
Please cancel my Greenix account. I am tired of being harassed by your billing office. Wells Fargo sent this check to you last month. In addition, you raised your fees and increased the frequency of the visits for no apparent reason.
Please confirm that you canceled any future services and my account. Thank you.

When I call I get a long menu of options which does not include canceling my account. I am a physician and do not have time to play these games. I emailed them again twice and left a voicemail on the weekend to stop my account. In the meantime, since January 24th, they switched to "monthly billing" instead of billing right after the service so now they are accumulating charges on my account that should have been canceled.
Overall, this company's practices are out of control. They unilaterally increased the frequency and cost of the service without notifying me or giving me the option to cancel. I am sure they are doing this to many unwitting customers.Business Response

I had a problem with rodents getting in the attic of my residence. I contacted GreenX Pest Control several months ago. The person I talk to his name Chase, we talk about 30 minutes. He set up a 12 month planned and $42.00 a month after that. In 6 weeks someone will contact me after setting several traps around my property. At that time they will enter the attic. 7 weeks had past no GreenX, I started calling I call chase at least 10 times. No return calls. After contacting somone, 9 weeks had past. To make a long story short, Case left the company they are not going in the attic like I was told. But you or taking my money. After 11 weeks someone came out a check the traps. Would not come inside, it's been 6 months I still had a problem with rodents. Every 3 or 4 days I would call GreenX about my problem with rodents. This ent on for 4 months, I got very angry and stop payment. I was displeased with the service I was getting from GreenX very unprofessional it appwars that after agreeing with the terms of what was to transpire I felt I was geing taken advantage of/ After I stop payment I started receiving call every 2 days. They just wanted my money, They didn't care. So I dispute 5 months that they charge my credit care, This is not right.Business Response

I have attempted to cancel this service 3 times and it has not been cancelled they have charged me for services that I did not approve, They told me it would be refunded and it was NOT. they have not provided services that I requested. All I want is the refund that I am owed and the service cancelled. I also do not want anyone from Greenix on my property.

I have attempted to cancel my Greenix Pest Control service many times over the last several months. I was under contract with the company for a year and towards the dusk of our agreement I sought to end our agreement. I was informed that I left our agreement it would come with a hefty termination fee. I decided to forego the fee by staying in contract, however, I kindly asked to be removed from their services after the contract expired. The representative insisted that this could not be done and that I would have to call back after my contract expired in order to be taken off of their roster.
I spoke with a representative on 3/2/23 stated my name and asked to be removed from the service. I just received a text saying that unless I call the given number, AGAIN, I will receive another service in 15 days. I WANT TO BE TAKEN OFF THE SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR GREENIX PEST CONTROL AND STOP BEING HARRASSED WITH THEIR TEXT MESSAGES AND POSSIBLE BILLS.Business Response

I originally had a 18 month contract with Greenix for a pest service paying $155.51 every Quarter that had expired and in the 18 months I never had any issue. Michael the sale person came to my house on January 19th 2023 and offered a “ much better price and includes a rodent service” if I re signed that day and If I signed before he left he could get the bait stations out that day. Several mentions of it being the same contract just less money . I now see that I’m actually paying triple $155.51 a month . I don’t agree with these sales tactics and feel taken advantage of . I don’t think they should be able to continue to use these tactics.
I am not able to select it in the resolutions but I no longer want to continue in this contract I want it voided without paying the cancellation “extortion” feeBusiness Response

We are grateful for your communication which has allowed us to identify a system error. Per our email correspondence on 2/22/23, the appropriate billing for your bundled subscription should have been updated to $39.00 per month, or $117.00 per quarter (excluding taxes.) This is substantially reduced from your previous rate of $179.00 per quarter (excluding taxes.) We regret that this billing error occurred in our system and that it resulted in a poor impression of our company. The amount that was incorrectly charged on 2/19/23 has been submitted for a full refund.
Per your request, the account has been fully canceled and no further services will take place. We thank you for raising this to our attention.

I have told Greenix multiple times that they cannot come to my house without an appointment because my dog has seizures when people are on our property. They continue to push for it through texts telling me I do not have to be home etc. I have asked them to cancel my account and they continue to call and text me and harass me. Today was the final straw when I had a horrible text exchange with a sexist technician named Jeremy. I have NEVER been treated the way I was with him today. I will upload the thread. I'm appalled. I was suppose to have someone in management call me 3 times today to resolve the matter but no one ever did. Once I finally got someone on the phone named Jordan he was so rude and also not helpful. I cannot believe I was treated in this manner.Business Response

Contact Greenix at the end of our 12 month contract as we were unhappy with services. On the contract it says you can cancel by phone or email. To allow for a written trail, I opted email. They have responded repeatedly telling me I cannot cancel by email and most call. They stated they would not continue services for 30 days to allow me time to call. Today, services were provided without my authorization. I was consequently charged for these services. The issue with the previous service (rodent baiting, incomplete service) weren’t even addressed when I made the initial complaint and cancellation request.Business Response

I called Greenix in early January, 2023 to have a wasp nest removed that was attached to my home. I told Greenix that a ladder would be needed and a chemical installed to prevent any future nests. A Greenix representative arrived a few days later with a long pole, no ladder, and when finished said he didn’t have any chemical to prevent future nests. I received an invoice that included a sales tax. The WisconsinDepartment of Revenue advised that the service was not taxable. I called Greenix and was told the tax would not be credited. Their service is a breach of contract and the billing is based upon fraud. ***** ******Business Response

Greenix reached out to and spoke with the customer at 3:45 PM CST on 2/13/23. A full refund for the service has been issued to resolve the customer's concerns. We attempted to clear up miscommunication about the nature of the product, which is a dust powder applied with a dewebber pole that prevents any future wasp activity. The customer was uninterested in the explanation and hung up. The account is closed and no further contact will take place, except regarding the refund in progress.Customer Answer
