Hired Greenix pest control mid year 2024 specifically to rid a ***** issue. Not only did the issue never diminish or stop after 6 months of treatments, this company would not show up as scheduled! Even when dealing with the manager (******). She would promise appointments/treatments then not actually schedule the appointment. Their service guy would show up for a FIVE minute treatment which says it all. This company is horrible, liars, and practice poor business ethics!! They refunded a few months of service BUT I am requesting all monies paid to be refunded. I had to hire a different company and pay all over again!!Business Response

11/14/24 was date of service to spray for roaches. Instead of ***** spray they sprayed for all bugs which won't kill roaches. My husband didn't want them back since it cost 90$ and used the wrong spray. They are harassing me by phone ,text. Changed bank card do they couldn't take out more money.Business Response

I signed up for pest control services with Greenix in July of 2024 with an initial payment of $108.01 and a recurring payment of $81.01 occuring every 30 days thereafter. Part of this service was spraying for pests on the interior of my home which never happened because they showed up at a time that I said I would specifically not be home and then never contacted me for a reschedule. I was told by one of their technicians that even without this interior spraying I would see no pests in my home as they were creating a barrier around the home. Greenix treated the exterior of my home 3 times with the last service being in October of 2024. They did not spray in the months of November or December while still charging me for those services. At no time during this entire 7 month period that I have been paying for their services did I see any reduction in pest population in my home or yard (spiders inside in large numbers and mosquitos outside in large enough numbers to prevent use of my patio). I recieved a call from one of their technicians on January 15th of 2025 that they would be coming to spray the outside again, at which time I told him to not do this as I intend to cancel my service. The next day, January 16th of 2025 I contacted Greenix to cancel my service and was told that I would have to pay a $299 early cancelation fee. I was not made aware of this when I signed up for their services and it was written in fine print on the contract which their initial sales person breezed through without letting me read it all. I have, to date, paid (including the early cancelation fee) over $893.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I missed calls from a manager at Greenix on two consecutive days while I was at work and did not have a number to call them back after work. If given an appropriate number to call them back i would be willing to discuss it with them.

A young man named ***** visited us this past September to try and sell a pest treatment plan. He assured me that by providing my email address, I was not signing up for a program, just signing up to receive additional information via email. I then declined the services after thinking about it. Ive been sent a recurring bill ever since, even after speaking to an agent on the phone and telling them we are not interested. They said they would take me off the list. They continue to call and send bills for a plan I dont want and a service never provided. The latest bill threatened to send me to collections if I dont pay. Completely unethical business practice to lie to a potential customers face. I have the text messages with ***** to prove my point. My issue with this company is that their management lied to me on two different occasions. I am moving and did not want or need this service any longer. I called on 12/9 and seemed to have worked everything out regarding my account. I paid what ********************** required me to end my contract. Then 1/8/25 I received another monthly bill. I called in and spoke with management agin. He apologized and said it was a mistake and that the bill has been taken care of. Approximately 2 hours later I received a text alert to make a payment to greenix. I called in again and then this employee told me that I needed to call in to cancel services. Im trying to wrap my head around how many times Greenix needs for me to call. Then this employee flexed and told me this would go to collections in this wasnt paid. This doesnt seem like a company that appreciates its customers. The December invoice is the amount the Greenix supervisor told me would balance out and terminate my account. Company is a scam! They sold me on monthly pest control for both my yard and home in May of 2024. They only treated my yard and home 1 time between May and January. Of this the service took ***** minutes! My yard is just over a half an acre! When speaking to them to stop charging me as a service is NOT being provided and to waive the balance due, I was told it is a contract ending fee and there is nothing they will do unless I continue services with them. Like a few other complaints I've seen, I signed up for Greenix to get rid of an acute pest problem (wasp nest) and was told that while it is a subscription, I could cancel after receiving my service and that was in fact something many other people did.
I received the initial service and decided to not cancel until a followup service to get rid of some remaining bugs.
When I called to cancel the service I was aggressively pitched to stay on, and after continuously refusing to stay on, I learned FOR THE FIRST TIME that this isn't a service you can cancel month to month and that there would be a $250 cancellation fee.
It is now January, and something that I thought would cost me just $150 is something that has charged me hundreds of dollars with a looming $250 fee to cancel.
Greenix mislead me from the very beginning and represented their service as something I could cancel.
If they are anything more than a soft scam, relying on hooking people and making it as difficult to cancel their subscription as possible.
If Greenix is anything other than a an unapologetic grift and scam they will cancel my account without charging this ridiculous and misleading cancellation fee, and then ensure to disclose this UP FRONT to potential customers.Business Response

We hope that this message finds you well! We've carefully reviewed this concern and listened to all calls that were made. After making multiple attempts to contact ***** he hasn't answered or returned any of those attempts. Part of his claim is that he says he was never told about a 12 month agreement. We've included a short 1 minute segment from the sales call where we not only discuss the length of the agreement but also the go over our willingness to go out and retreat as needed. During the same segment the salesperson also discusses that he could cancel but he was talking specifically after the end of the agreement. One other thing is that he says he was not aware of what he signed up for. The salesperson sent him a full copy of the agreement which he signed up. I've included the agreement as well. We would love an opportunity to resolve this matter in a peaceful way.

***** and ****** charge, the 39 dollars was to keep the appoint and Greenix was supposed to come over and treat my yard for fleas and mosquitos. The technician came and sprayed five spots of my house. I still had fleas an issues. I called the company got no help disputes it with my bank. Greenix sent over documents showing they were going to refund the money back and than told me they werent because when they sent the money over to my they lied and said that they serviced my full house while I watched the technician only spray five bushes.Business Response

We wanted to reach out to you all about ****** **********. We spoke with ****** yesterday 1/7/2025 via phone and discussed his concerns more fully. ************ were originally completed back in October (10/17/2024) for tick flea mosquito services. He worked with his bank to dispute charges for services rendered during that appointment just recently. After reviewing the account more fully we can see that our accounting team won the billing dispute meaning we showed sufficient evidence to his bank and they decided not to dispute the charges. One important aspect with our services is that we do offer free reservices as long as it is within an acceptable timeframe. Reservices are simply spot treatments to ensure customer satisfaction and we would have been more than happy to go out multiple times during the season so that we could get this resolved. Mr. ******** has refuted any and all options we've placed before him to resolve this dispute. We decided not to reverse the charges since he contacted us fair beyond the acceptable timeframe for reservices and while that particular service is out of season. We have discontinued services with ****** and notified him of this. Please let us know if you have any questions about the matter at hand.

I contacted your company regarding a rodent issue and was assured that the problem would be resolved and that the property would be treated to prevent future occurrences. One of your technicians even assured me that if any mice remained, they would be dead by the end of the week. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Instead of effective treatment, I was offered upsell options, and the home was only provided with low-quality glue traps, which have proven ineffective. Furthermore, no actual treatment was applied to the property. The rodent issue persists, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of action taken by your company.Business Response
