My windshield was replaced ten months ago. It has had "gaps" since day one and I have notified them from day one. My last attempt to rectify the situation was about six weeks ago when they said they had to order a new windshield. As of now, they refuse to respond to multiple emails sent to multiple people. It appears they have simply refused to honor their warranty, their word as a company doing business in *****, and refuse to respond in any manner.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I had a repair performed by Safelite. I was told this repair was Guaranteed and if there was a failure they would credit me the cost of the repair as long as I purchased a replacement windshield with them. My windshield was replaced, by them on October 15, 2024. It is currently 11/25/2024, three calls to customer service later and I have yet to receive my refund/credit. The easiest, quickest way to accomplish this credit would be to subtract it from the cost of the repair, this was not done. Then I figured, surely they would credit the original form of payment, a credit card, less efficient but still acceptable. Negative. After several calls it was explained that they would snail mail a check, a method the choose undoubtedly in the hopes that people will forget, lose their checks, or just give up. The check, has yet to arrive, even though we are five weeks past my repair. ** NOT believe their promises about repair credits.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Did quote online for my son's truck and started at $245 then went to check out it was $304 then I called to see if I could wait for the service, and they checked on it and said the total would be $835 because of disposal and recalibration of the truck. Very misleading and bad business. I have used Safelite many times and never have had this happen. Glad I called to confirm pricing and appointment before going in. I have print screen of the quote with everything on it. This is very misleading. Even at total it still says $304.94. They said recalibration will cost $500 plus extra dollars (this is over the phone, not sure if she was incorrect) Now after writing my review on ****** I received an email talking about recalibration. Unable to attach total at checkout but I have it saved and can email it. I have print screens of every step of the process. This process is unethical and very bad business.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Had the worst experience. Was never told about a $500 recalibration fee until AFTER THEY STARTED WORKING ON MY CAR. This place is a f****** scam. Wish I wouldve read the reviews before going. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

My car was broken into on 11/2. One window was cracked, the other was completely busted out. Both windows were to be replaced. The soonest they could get me in was 11/13. They came and spent 5 hours, only to resolve that they brought the wrong glass and it wouldnt work. So they said they needed to order the factory parts for my car and would come back on 11/23 (today). Yesterday they TEXTED me to tell me the glass wasnt in yet so I no longer have an appointment, no further action required at this time. No additional context or expectations set. So I called and talked to the manager, ****** *****, and explained my experience. He confirmed that they had my back door glass in, but were still waiting for the front door glass to come in. Since the back door glass is what is complete missing, I asked for them to come and replace that today and schedule another time for the front door when the part comes in (I shouldnt have had to think of that solution). He confirmed they would do that, and put me back on their schedule.I got a call early this morning from the tech coming today who stated that they have the front door glass, NOT the back door glass. I requested a call from the manager, ****, who assured me they had my back door glass in. The tech called me back and stated the manager passed along an apology for misspeaking and will look into it and follow up with me Monday. Theres been very little urgency, empathy, ownership taken, or even sincere apology.Its almost the end of November, with temps in the 30s-40s and Im stuck with a tape window, with no estimated time for this to be resolved. The windshield replacement, done by Safelite through my insurance, is still under warranty, but I've been having ongoing issues. When there's dew, rain, or frost on the glass, it appears bubblylike a poor-quality screensaver filmand there are two noticeable imprints where the foam is embedded. One of these imprints is right in my line of sight.The technicians came with a replacement windshield, but when they contacted ** ***** at the Safelite CTU Hub in ************, **, he told them that the issue was due to the windshield being aftermarket and the humidity in *******, and that it wasnt a reason to replace the glass. I disagreed, as I've lived in ******* for 23 years and know this shouldnt be happening even with aftermarket glass. Despite the technicians having a replacement windshield on hand, ***** refused to authorize its installation.The technician called the manager again, but the response was rude. I expressed my frustration, telling him that if he couldnt provide a better explanation than what he (*****) had already said, ***** stated there was nothing more to discuss. When I asked ***** to confirm that he was not authorizing the replacement, he said correct, ending the conversation abruptly. He was unprofessional, lacked empathy, and didnt offer any alternative solutions.Allens handling of this situation was disappointing, and I believe he needs additional training or should be demoted from his position as GM. I plan to escalate this matter to the **** Corporate Glass office, who covered the cost of the service with Safelite.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Most terrible experience ever in Colorado Springs . I have tried everything I can think of to get a response from them (emailed manager, Safelite contact us section on website, phone calls) but i have been completely ignored. They failed to successfully install glass 2 different times, so we took the car to Subaru, and learned that they broke the camera which cost us $2500! The manager is awful and I would like to discuss this with Safelite.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Worst customer service! I had a 5 hour window for them to come replace my glass and emails saying they would be there between 12 and 5 no one showed up or emailed back saying they were not going to make it. Horrible service. Impossible to reach anyone in customer service! How do they have an A+ rating, BBB? Every response to a complaint is the same boilerplate call us. Call them. "We can't take your call right now" and the automated system hangs ******* many others here, I had a windshield replaced. Leaked the first time. Replaced. Leaked again. Now they won't respond. USE ANYONE ELSE and don't believe this garbage A+ rating. The 1.14 stars tells you what you need to know.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

We scheduled an appointment with Safelite in ********, **, which is an hour away from our home. The woman on the phone took our information and confirmed our vehicles ***, make, and model. We received several emails confirming the appointment, and my husband called the store to ask how long the windshield replacement would take since we would need to wait.We arrived at 9 AM and waited for about 20 minutes when a gentleman came out to inform us that they did not have the correct windshield. We needed to reschedule, as they did not know which windshield we required until we brought the car in. We have previously used Safelite in *************, **, to replace a windshield on our ***, and we were never told that we had to bring the vehicle in to determine which windshield was needed. This is precisely why we provide the *** number, so they can see which windshield is required. They should have either checked ahead of time or called us in advance to clarify any questions.I called customer service and spoke to a gentleman who said he would arrange for the regional manager for our area to call us. After two working days without a call, I reached out to customer service again, only to encounter an extremely rude woman who transferred me to the store manager. She shouldn't be in customer service as she didn't care what the issues were, just going through the motions. The person she connected me with was the manthat previously informed us that he didn't have the windshield we needed and that we would have to reschedule. As a result, we will take our business elsewhere. This experience reflects poor customer service, which is why you see a score of 1.14 out of 5. Other people's issues show that this is not the only store with terrible service.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.
