      Through insurance scheduled appt with Safelite to come on site and replace windshield. Tech coordinated during day and when arrived, discovered replacement was defective. Took care of reschedule and awaited replacement. Day of second appointment, found out that tech had called in sick and I had to reschedule again. Did so and was given "priority" status and awaited replacement. Had slot of 8-12 and by 12:30 no communication at all with Tech. Contacted Safelite and told I could text Tech for status. Did so... no response after one hour. Debating next steps (have contacted insurance agent to share the experience since my time but they are paying the bill).

      In May 16 I had my Windshield Window replaced in the ************************** ** location. Prior to that I received many emails and confirmations with the cost of the windshield in which I would have to pay the deductible and I even chose to pay an extra windshield for my windows. The total was $572ish. In late June I received a letter informing me that I owed an additional almost $500 for my window replacement. I file a claim with *** and was involved with both companies. At the end AAA after speaking with the regional director of SafeLite informed me that SafeLite had concluded it was on them and they would cover the difference. Today October I received a collectors notice from SafeLite for the money owed. I try calling the business and the answering robot didnt know how to transfer me to a human to question about the claim. The window service was great but the business side and customer service has been h*** Make sure you triple check what you accept as payment because I have been dealing with this for 5 months now.

      Case #23360515 I cannot begin to express my remorse for dealing with Safelite Auto Glass. My 2019 Infiniti Q60S Red Sport is Immacuate and was taken there for a windshield replacement after being chipped/ cracked. They tried installing a knock off (probably made in China) windshield which would not allow the callibration of my sensors. This resulted in a number of warning lights being on and I was told they would all be off once they got "the right windshield" in stock, this took 3 weeks and then once they installed the second windshield all kinds of wiring was exposed and not properly reinstalled. My windshield washer warning light also was now on. They said they would "take care of it" after I immediately returned within minutes of driving away. They took it in the back and came out and informed me that "you need to take it to the dealer to correct the matter and we will take care of it". I did that. The Infiniti of Novi dealership documented that Safelite was at fault for the now $331.00 additional dollars I spent on getting the warning light repaired. I then returned on good faith and they claimed that they had to send it to corporate for approval. I waited, no contact, I called the Customere Care Team and I was told that a district manager would be contacting me on the matter. It has been 3 weeks and no response "is a response". I have sent numerous emails to no avail. I would not send anyone to do business with this organization. It is riddled with poor customer service and ignoring this situation does not mean I'm going to allow them to victimize me. They attempted to use a second rate knock off low quality windshield which has led to this even not to mention poor workmanship. It is now time for legal action. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. Check their rating, I should have but now I know why they are rated so low. They live up to a 1 Star rating and apparently management does not care enough to get involved. It is not okay to outright lie to a customer

      I scheduled a date and given a 5 hour window for when they would show up. I waited and got a call that he was on the way. I got a second call that he had the wrong day and it was the following day. I told him no, I had emails and texts showing it was on the day he called. He said he would check and call me back. No one showed up. No one called. I was on their website and got the number and when I called she said he left for the day and they rescheduled my appointment. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. After reading reviews, I see I'm not the only one this has happened to and they don't seem to care, at least this woman didn't and became rude then said she would call me back. She never did.

      I am happy to report that I have no issues with my windshield - well they still haven't fixed it yet, after 3 appointments. They are very prompt with letting me know something went wrong and just to reschedule - after rescheduling 2 times - I'll need to find a new place.

      I recently contacted my insurance company to get a my windshield replaced using Safelite. I went through their website and set up a repair date. I took off from work and the tech confirmed that he would be there later that day. The tech calls me and tells me he is overbooked and I would have to reschedule. I did a reschedule. I took off from work again, the tech then calls me the morning of the rescheduled date and says that he doesn't have the aztec part he needs to recalibrate my camera and he states he dosen't know when he will have the part. He then asked for a picture of the crack. I send it and he says, we can fix this at the shop. So I schedule a 3RD appointment to go into the actual shop (which is an inconvenience because the shop is about an hour away from me). We get to the shop and the tech tells us we should replace the entire glass instead of repairing the crack because it would still be visible. So they reschedule us for a 4TH time to drive an hour to come back up there. I then get a call 30 minutes later stating that they don't have the glass and they have to reschedule us for a 5th time. At this point I tell them not to worry about it. The customer service experience at ********************** is horrible. The techs seem to be overworked and their customer culture seems to be toxic. How can you reschedule a customer 5 times in 2 days. They seem to have a monopoly on this auto glass industry and they feel like they can treat the customer however they want to. At this point I'd rather pay out of my pocket then to deal with them. This is beyond a horrible experience. Just look at their rating. I wish I could give them a zero!       Sneaky and Snakey Business. Quote F250(backglass)Safelite website $650.08. Charged $791.10. I asked for receipt when paying. Was told it will be emailed. I get home to look at emails and find my $140 charge above quote. I fly out of my chair. I call the first ******** curse him out and ask for his managers number. He refuses to give the number, but I get a call from level II manager. He tells me that I was charged $40 recycling fee. I just happened to watch them throwing my glass and frame into the dumpster, making this manager just a liar. He tells me they charged me $45 for front window rainx. I tell him I just want them to honor the quote. He offers to remove rainx charge and recycling charge. I tell him to honor the quote. He refuses. He was trying to convince me that him removing the recycling fee and rainx fee was him doing me a favor. i again asked this man to honor the $650 quote. He again refuses. At some point, I had to let the man know that I called USAA(my bank) and disputed the charged. If you do business with a rattlesnake, you will always get bitten. Bottom Line-They gave me a quote with JUST the price of the window. The added on labor, rainx and recycling after the fact. Who gives quotes without labor in the quote? The snuck in the charges, once my truck was in their shop. Don't play with Rattlesnakes...Negative ten starts.....

      They will not accept Lifetime Warranty claim. False advertising to customers. I had a windshield install back in 2015. The windshield is defective. It has some white discoloration inside the lower and sides of the windshield. I had to call corporate to complain and get an work order for replacement . This has taken about three weeks to get done. Now this week I had an appointment for warranty work. It was yesterday 10-2-24 between 8 -12 pm. No call. No show. NOTHING. Today I called corporate and no resolve. Now they are saying SORRY, we cannot replace your windshield. So what happened to the Lifetime Warranty? This company is a total scam. Beware , they will take your money quickly, but will not honor their Warranty Policy. I want to report this to the BBB and put them on blast, so we can expose the type of customer service and excuses they have. This is totally unacceptable. Hopefully the owner will read this. what a disgrace.

      This place is a certified piece of work ????when I state stay away I MEAN THAT . These ppl are so messy . This is one crazy story . I requested for a tiny crack to be fixed , it was in need of a new window per the repair man . I was informed someone will reach out and reschedule because they had to order me a new window . **** 2 wks passed no call no nothing , so I called customer care and they informed me I was supposed to reach out to them . Not what the repair man stated but ok . So I rescheduled , 1x reschedule repair man called me and stated he had to cancel because where he live it was raining and it looks like its gonna rain on my side of town that after noon ??my was schedule for that morning which meant it shouldve been done by that afternoon . So now reschedule again 2nd for a Saturday , repair man was a no call no show . I called back and had a long conversation with and I was informed it would be fixed on Wednesday which is today and this man BROKE
