Truly one of the worst experiences I have had with any business in my life. There aren't enough characters here to explain all the problems but 1) they installed my windshield completely incorrectly according to their counterparts at the other shop so it makes noises and it cracked within a few days, we had to take it to another Safelite to get it repaired under warranty. They were flabbergasted at how wrong it was. 2) they damaged my car by dropping a tool on the hood and side panel and the claims adjuster they sent me to deal with will not respond to my emails after I got a $3k quote for repair. 3) They had the phone number wrong on my work order so I asked them to correct it and they said they would and then they kept calling the wrong number and saying they left me messages but they could not handle updating it in their system they just kept writing it down on post it notes after damaging my vehicle and incorrectly installing my windshield. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I wouldn't use Safelite altogether after this but the Santa **** team might be the most incapable group of humans I have ever met.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Got a quote online for a new glass.. technician came and said **** was over a hundred bucks more than what I was quoted ..so after a half hour on the phone I got to talk to someone.said they weren't sure if they were gona use the old one or new ****** they gave me a 40%discount and my bill was still more than what I was quoted.. wouldn't recommend at all..Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

An absolutely abysmal experience with this company, lasting nearly 4 months at this point. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would because there is nothing about this company that suggests "star" status. I got my windshield replaced early summer. Turns out there was a blur in the windshield right in the visual field of my wife so we asked for someone to return. The same tech, who was great, came back, and confirmed the blur but said the glue had to dry before it could be replaced again. He and my wife stood in the yard, inspected another windshield, confirmed it was clear, and he said he'd hold it and we should just make another appointment. We made another appointment, but a different tech came back--he didn't have a windshield, but said he was there to "confirm a defect". When we told him it's already confirmed, he left. We have reached out over the past few months in various ways and had trouble getting in touch with anyone. We finally got a phone number to a local shop but no answer and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone from the main number. FINALLY got an appointment about 2 weeks ago. It was rescheduled twice, once because the window had not been delivered, next because the delivery service had sent all their employees home due to the hurricane. Today I was supposed to have my windshield replaced (4 months later) between 8 & 1. I got an email at 7a to say who my assigned tech was, but never heard from him. I called at 1255, the agent couldn't get in touch so they gave me his #. I tried him twice. It's now 1500, and I just called and spoke to another agent who finally got in touch with him and said he told her that the shop was supposed to call me to tell me my windshield did not come in and they'd call me to reschedule. WHAT an absolute disgrace of a company. I will never use safelite again and I will proselytize their horrendous service to everyone I know as long as I'm able.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

When the original agent came out to repair my back windshield he seemed very uneducated and did not handle anything with care. He was very inexperienced and ended up breaking my power liftgate that opens up the hatch. Safelite has not fixed my liftgate and they dont seem to have an urgency to fix what their agent broke.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Worst cust service experience w/ any industry.-Vehicle was left w/ trash/glass pieces inside car & around the car, includ sticky black liquid glue - Electrical pieces (from somewhere.) were left on dashboard - components left hanging, disconnected, broken from inside windshield (car was working perfectly just 15m prior to the service)When I turned car on:- pass window was down - turn signal was blinking - highbeam lights on - engine made a rumble - battery light came on, remained on - ** stopped working Contacted manager, ****, to correct/assess whatever was done to my car. Upon his arrival (conversation I was recording on my phone) I started by showing all the trash everywhere for which he blew off & just picked up & threw any trash out the doors, & stated 'not big deal, it was a new technician, what other issues are there'.Proceeded to show electrical pieces on dashboard, for which response was 'that's not from us, idk what that's from', as if I just drive everyday w electrical ************** loosely sitting on my dash.Proceeded to show electrical components hanging from window & broken & leaking black liquid, for which liquid black substance messed up his hands for which he needed to wipe off. 'that's nothing, just a humidifier sensor,the battery light that has nothing to do with us, you're battery is prob dead' (is a brand new battery). I opened hood to show new battery. Manager **** proceeded to point out any & every wire inside my engine claiming 'that's probably the issue', as if he felt & treated me like he were talking to a complete moron'Next, well it's your alternator & that has nothing to do with us....' etc So mysteriously my alternator is suddenly bad. And safelites pisspoor service is 'apparently' not responsible for anything.I'll be reviewing if my dashcam shows anything, & I'll be contacting the regional office.The Happy safelite commercials shown on TV resemble absolutely nothing with their actual service, or at least this branch.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Added on a recalibration fee that cost more than double what my windshield did. Had my card on file from the online quote and booking and ran my card without notifying me about the extra $400 fee. The call center was extremely unhelpful and rude, tells you it is your fault for using your VIN to find your exact car's quoted price with them and booking online instead of getting a paper quote from your local safelite. I've never dealt with a worse company than Safelite. These clowns came to my house to repair a half-dime-sized chip in my windshield of my 2019 **** Q5. In less than 10 minutes, the Safelite technician (read: a high schooler who smelled like weed) managed to crack my windshield 12".I contacted Safelite and the shop manager who accept ZERO responsibility for their work. What's worse, is that I never received any sort of apology for the damage that they caused.Imagine if I walked into a Safelite shop, smashed a windshield, and simply said "Sorry, not my problem. It's your problem." This is what Safelite did to **** feel disrespected and wronged by this company. Naturally, they are not BBB accredited, so they don't have to own up to any of their mistakes and can treat their customers terribly.AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

Ran my credit card for over $100 more than what my receipt shows. Broke rain sensor when installing windshield. when fixing the rain sensor broke the mirror bracket Senior tech ***** said they would glue it back. Two different mobile techs that came fix it said you gluing it would not fix it - that I needed a new windshield. The manager refused to take my call or return my call - over 1 week now. I have to go there to talk to someone. I have instructed my credit card company to dispute the charge, have filed a complaint with the ************ and ***. Calling corporate now to demand immediate refund. DO NOT GO TO SAFELITE. I should have known better when it was impossible to get a human on the phoneSafelite Auto Glass, Inc.

first appointment, first attempt to repair mi windshield I was disappointed. I was on time in the facility, front desk guys forgot to be polite, so rude about to accept my key 20 minutes before my appointment. I was waiting 22 minutes, till go again to front desk, but they told me, by mistake they took another car, so, I was waiting more time, another 20 minutes, and I leaved the place was not any notice to accept my Tundra, even my truck key. Second, other day. That appointment was easy and fast, workshop was fast. But, when I arrived at my house garage, I saw 4 big scratches in my 2023 ****** Tundra hood, so frustrated, because I do not know why they scratch the hood. That is a new vehicle. What a headache, I do not like to spend time again in a complaint about it. Always took take care of my truck, but those guys just scratch the hood, because they did not take care about their work they did, that was a dirty work on my tundra... Then, I will have to spend time to make a complaint, time that I do not have. Then, they charged $1300, and received my tundra scratched. Maybe I will be charge for repair my hood about $500/$700, I will go to a Bodyshop to confirm it.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.

I am absolutely livid with the service I received at Safelite Auto Glass in **********. After THREE visits just to get a simple calibration done, they finally managed to finish the job. But to make matters worse, when I found an issue with the built-in camera and went back on September 20th to have it fixed, they couldnt even find my service records! They actually tried to tell me I had never come in to replace the glassjust for calibration. Are you kidding me?This is beyond incompetent. Its bad enough that they couldnt get it right after multiple visits, but now they cant even keep track of their own work? Ive never seen such unprofessionalism and complete disregard for a customers time and money. This place is a joke, and their management is clearly incapable of running a business properly.They wasted my time, caused endless frustration, and showed zero accountability. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to deal with their complete incompetence and lack of respect for their customers.Safelite Auto Glass, Inc.
